Hyatt Place St. Petersburg / Downtown

Chose the Hyatt Downtown St Petersburg to celebrate my bday. What a perfect place. The location is amazing. Walk to all the great restaurants and museums. Marina , the front desk coordinator was extremely helpful. She hooked us up with some fantastic places to visit. Thanks Marina. Bill

Our room was huge overlooking downtown which was nice and we got to capture the sunset from window. Parking was extra $23.54/night

Elevator is super quick which is awesome as we were placed on the 8th floor. Water pressure definitely needs improvement. Breakfast was typical but plenty even though we arrived late. It was a pleasant and quiet stay which we enjoyed.

Surprisingly excellent for a mid-priced hotel. Nice big room. Great breakfast. No "resort fee". Reasonably priced parking. The thing that raised them to five stars though was the fact that they have a fairly late checkout (noon) and even extended that one hour for us. Since we sleep late and are kinda slow packing up, this has enormous value to us. Better overall, in a way, than a much fancier hotel with an earlier checkout time.

I had a great stay here for a baseball trip. The front desk was extremely helpful providing lots of tips and suggestions on places to visit in the area. Very warm and welcoming. Great location.

My coworker and I were here for a few days and Gale made our check in easy and very pleasant. We’ll be staying here next time for any trip in the area since it is such a convenient location and we can count on phenomenal service.
I would like to see a to the floor smith machine for the gym, but beggars can’t be choosers. Thank you for the amazing trip.

Great room great location! Near a really small beach that's not that great but still a cool stop. Pier is decent. Fifteen minute drive to the real st pete beaches. You have to pay to park here which sucks.

The Hyatt Place in Downtown St. Petersburg, Fl is a very nice hotel to stay in if you're staying for a while. We always stay there when my husband has to come down there for work. And they are dog friendly. The staff was so sweet to our little Sophie. The location is great for walks with her multiple times a day, too. The park and pier are close, and she loved that.

Great hotel in a great location. The rooms are bigger than most hotels, the rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, the staff was wonderful, breakfast is free, and parking was easy. I was concerned about noise from a local concert venue which I saw in other reviews. We were there during a show and I didn't notice any issue inside the hotel.

Nice hotel in the heart of St. Pete with very comfortable beds, clean rooms & common areas. Hotel location is great with excellent walkability to all the shops, restaurants, pier & everything around. We were very happy with the services & the staff were efficient & friendly. Special shout out to Marina & Gayle at Guest Services who were so helpful with recommendations & there to assist with all of our needs. Would definitely recommend & return.

Great staff. Front desk team is so nice from day shift to night shift. Late night staff older gentleman is just so awesome and nice. It’s almost like a bed and breakfast but with the great Hyatt brand and amenities. Housekeeping team is so nice. Hotel is clean, friendly, great location. It’s a place you don’t want to write a great review to keep it a secret but they deserve the recognition. Amazing run hotel and how all hotels should be. Been here 4x, will be back xxxx times again. BTW how it’s 3 star is crazy.

We had a great stay with our kids. Front desk Alana and Fawn were so friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast each morning and location of hotel to all the restaurants and bars for nightly entertainment. Will stay here again!

Great location, front desk staff was very helpful especially Gail and I think it was Elaina. Breakfast is pretty good and the pool area is great place to chill out after a day running around.

Location overall perfect for a stay men’s staff were rude. The TV sucks. The water gets hot. It’s a nice lovely view of downtown. In the perfect spot of all the bars in theater TV doesn’t really have good cable. It was hard to find the ice machines I felt it was kind of racist that they didn’t have BET .. elevators have kind of a sort of problem. When you press the floor you’re going to it doesn’t go to it all the way you have to press it again overall clean and nice would stay here again under different conditions. 4.5 / 5 stars .. enjoy vacation

Everything about this place is great. The employees, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the location, it has it all if you want to be in downtown St Pete. Right across the street from Goodnight, Jon Boy. Don't forget the included breakfast. Parking is $20 but that's a great deal for the area. There's a bar in the lobby as well as bar bites. Oh, it's pet friendly.

I just want to say the service is great because Jade the bartender is pretty much the sole reason I keep visiting the Hyatt and buy drinks. She makes my experience great and a positive way to start of the night with her charisma and her expresso martini and her cucumber Tom Collin’s which are the best I ever had. Best bar tender ever! :)

The hotel was very nice, if you are looking for something to do on the weekend, there is a club across the street and it seems to be very popular. There is plenty to eat and do in the area. You will enjoy the location.

I'm writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided by the event and support staff at the Hyatt DTSP. We regularly host our leadership meetings at this location, and I consistently am impressed by the care and attention they put into making everything run flawlessly.

A special thank you goes out to both Bailey Crews and Darius Wingfield. Both coordinators consistently go above and beyond, juggling multiple tasks seemingly effortlessly. They are incredibly responsive, anticipate our needs, and always handle everything with professionalism and a smile.

During our last meeting, they had all of my questions answered almost instantaneously. This kind of initiative and flexibility is invaluable and ensures our meetings are not only smooth, but also productive and enjoyable for our entire leadership team.

If you're looking for a venue with exceptional service and staff who truly care about making your event a success, I highly recommend the Hyatt DTSP. Ask for Bailey or Darius – they're the best!

The staff here made our stay amazing, they were so sweet and even friendly to our dogs. The location is also perfect for a fun night out in st. Pete’s!

Great hotel, close to beach and right downtown. Nice rooms and good continental breakfast.
