Exceptional stay at Hampton Inn! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and impeccable service. The room was very clean and had a coffeemaker for convenience, offering walkable distances to breathtaking surrounding area. The amenities provided were a little dated. However, next month, they are starting renovation.The hotel's staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs, making us feel truly valued and pampered. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, Hampton Inn at St. Pete surpasses expectations. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience! The highest of this hotel was the location and fantastic staff 👏

Our stay at this Hampton Inn location was such a relaxing and beautiful stay. Every member of the staff from the front desk to the servers and helpers at breakfast to housekeeping staff were helpful, friendly, kind, and accommodating. There was great attention to detail with so many aspects of the hotel stay. The hotel has a pool, exercise room, and a balcony all located on the second floor and just outside the entrance to the hotel are beautiful walking trails that take you right beside the waterfront. If you are looking for a place to stay that is centrally located to so many of the shops and restaurants, waterfront and beautiful walking parks that simply goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay with them is an extraordinary experience, look no further, you have found that place here, at the Hampton Inn St. Petersburg, Florida. We’ve been coming to this hotel now for a few years now and honestly I cannot fault it. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating, very excited for the refurb June-Dec 2024 to see what will be new! Ideal location, valet garage parking, free hot breakfast 10/10

- amazing location - 3 min walk from the pier and next to a lot of restaurants
- eco friendly bathroom items (soaps, shampoo, lotion, etc)
- The hotel is only 4 floors so breakfast never felt crowded and the elevator didn't take forever to come
- travelled with 1 yr old and pack and play was in room and easy to assemble
- they put us in a room with only one neighbor so when our kid kept crying or woke up at 5am we didn't feel too horrible
- no sound from neighbors or in the hallway.
- good black out curtains
- housekeeping willing to do daily trash pick up/all staff very friendly

We always stay here when we are in town. On this visit, we arrived after 11:00pm. Our luggage did not arrive with us. Jessica was at reception, and she was a bright spot in our day. She was so friendly and provided us with toiletries to tide us over until our luggage arrived. The next morning our luggage was delivered to our room by a very nice gentleman. Our stay was terrific thanks largely to the staff. I am sure we will be back.

Being from Tampa & gathering 6 ladies for a retreat is a no brainer in downtown St Pete…and, it turns out that The Hampton Inn is the perfect place to stay! It has the best location right on Beach Drive near all the museums, restaurants, & pier, a wonderful staff, delicious breakfast included, and affordable pricing! Thank you all for our lovely stay…especially Lisa, Brian, & Erica!!!

My wife and I were in St. Pete recently and stayed here. Our inbound flight was fairly early, so we arrived at the hotel well before the normal check-in time. We were greeted at the front desk by Erica, who was super friendly and helpful. She let us leave our bags with the front desk so we could go bum around until check-in time, and suggested some places we could go visit until then. Dhe was so friendly and really just wanted to make sure we had the best experience, which we did. I really wish all hotel employees were as friendly and helpful as Erica, but no. Erica is a true joy to interact with. We'll be heading back down there at the end of January, and I really hope that Erica is there to greet us again. Kudos to Erica!

One of the best hotels in downtown St Petersburg and conveniently walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable with lots of pillows. The free breakfast has lots of options and is delicious. Have stayed here numerous times and it has always been a fantastic experience. Highly recommend for any visitors to the area or any residents who want a staycation.

I came here to b. sit for one of my fams. Wonderful customer service from valet to front desk. Very clean and pretty decor. They have complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There's a small snack stand inside with reasonably priced items. The rooms are cleaned but kind of small. The location is fab around many restaurants and the pier. However guests will most likely have to park in parking garage.

Rooms were nicer than expected. Self parking on street but almost impossible.
Valet parking at Hotel is convenient. Just park directly infront .

Our third or fourth time here. Our second time to have a room on the second floor with a patio that opens onto the balcony facing the water to the East. Great hotel. Great location. Great staff. Slept great! :)

This is a fantastic place to stay. Not only is the location as well the rooms phenomenal, the staff treat their guests like family. I cannot say how much it means when staff members out of nowhere ask "how is your stay". Everyone we interacted with were genuinely committed to making sure our stay was completely relaxed.

Booked two rooms here to see a concert at nearby Jannus Live. First off, this is a great location for Jannus as well as the pier and surrounding attractions. Everything is easily walkable. I did not use the valet parking so I cannot comment on that, as we used the nearby SouthCore parking garage instead.

When we checked in a little after 4pm, only one of the rooms was ready which caught us a little by surprise given the 3pm check-in time. However, the front desk said it would only be 10-15mins longer and it ended up only being about a 5min wait, so I am glad this was only a minor inconvenience at most. Both rooms were very clean and well maintained which has not always been the case with some other Hampton's I've stayed at in recent months. The breakfast buffet was standard Hampton Inn breakfast which is never particularly noteworthy. They have a decent selection of snacks and beverages in the sundries section.

The one thing we really appreciated though was that we left behind a prized possession of our daughter's and only realized it after we made it back home. Lisa (I believe) was quick to retrieve it once we called and promptly shipped it out that day to us. We were very grateful for this.

Came for one night while we waited for the surge flood waters to recede. One day turned into 2 and now into 3. The experience has been amazing. The pups are living life, the staff is amazing and very accommodating. The rooms are quite and clean. Can’t say enough, and I’ve stayed in my share of Hampton Inns across the states. If your thinking about staying just book it. Located downtown waking distance to everything and it’s pet friendly. Guests and employees have been friendly and pleasant.

Small hotel at the front of everything St Petersburg. Friendliest customer service I have experienced in a while. Good "Hampton " breakfast. Clean & comfortable. Small pool & no hot tub. We were able to walk to everything we went to.

I needed specific help to have a room reserved. ERICA took the time above and beyond to help make everything as smooth as possible. Quality service can be hard to find. When you experience someone who takes that quality service and notches it up even more, that really means something. I'm a repeat guest and will happily continue to be. Thank you Erica. I wish that I could leave more stars about the staff. They have been amazing, nice and so accommodating. Including the valet!
We initially stayed at the hotel the day after the hurricane. But we ended up staying 4 nights while waiting for the surge flood water to recede and for our power to come back on at our house.
I’ll definitely highly recommend family, friends, neighbors and anyone who will listen to stay here.

Service was above and beyond any hotel we have stayed at! Every worker we encountered during our stay way friendly and helpful. We got in late at night (after 12) Veronica assured our room would be ready when I called. She was friendly and helpful when we arrived even though it was late. Brian the valet was superb! Jessica the other desk person was friendly and helpful! There must be some great management at this hotel as the workers all seemed happy. Hotel room was clean and location could not have been better. Close to the pier and within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants! We will be visiting every time we come to visit family! Thank you!

We stayed one night to see a show at Jannus Live. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the amenities are on point. They have the full sized shampoo, conditioner , and bath gels in the shower, as well as full size hand soap and lotions. I wish every hotel did this. The only negative things I have to say are: Having to call for valet to get your vehicle could be an annoyance of staying for a few days, I wish they stocked towels and washcloths for the room capacity, and our room’s view was negligible. But we weren’t there to view anything. That’s it. That’s all the negatives I have. I would stay here again. Positives: great location, good value for the price, nice breakfast food and area, Great staff. I wish I could remember the names of every single employee I encountered - front desk, valet, security, GM, breakfast staff, were helpful, kind, friendly, and welcoming. They all deserve recognition.

Clean rooms, wonderful staff (front desk and valet), solid breakfast included, can’t beat the location!
