Mariner Market

Mariner's Market is wonderful, not too overpriced, and they had everything, at least everything l needed. Clean, friendly employees, fresh food and produce, and meat. A full selection of goods.

Surprising on how much merch they have in stock. Fresh fish a little low, but you have to be quick when stock comes in. Friendly staff.

Mariner’s Market is our savior when we visit or stay in cannon beach because we always forget something. They are not a big store but they are packed floor to ceiling with a wide variety of anything you might need: from beach towels to s’more makings to beer and wine. They are friendly and conveniently located in downtown canon beach.

Conveniently located in downtown Cannon Beach. The Mariner Market carries a wide variety of foods, drinks, and beach accessories. The staff are friendly. The store is reasonably clean. The prices are expensive, but I think that is expected for the location.

Great little market to buy some things you may have forgotten, or breakfast items when restaurants are closed. Higher prices, of course, but good for convenience.

Went for random things I needed. Pure pumpkin for my pup’s upset stomach and colored chalk for a chalkboard at the Airbnb we were staying. They had what I needed. A bit pricey but I didn’t have to drive to get what I needed.

Great small market! Lots of healthy choices; even some organic stuff!

Convenient walking distance from our rental. The store is clean, the clerk was friendly, and I found everything we needed.

The Mariner Market is an iconic stop for visitors to Cannon Beach. Prices are very fair and the deli hit a home run with our lunch.

Our family visited Cannon Beach this summer to have a family vacation. Though Airbnb and food were expensive in this area, this market has reasonably fair-priced food, groceries, and other things that you need during vacation time (such as first-aid, OCT medications, etc).

Pros
1. Up to date! Let me tell you something. When you go to most local markets in a vacation resort, you find so many products, food, and drinks that are expired or defective. Not this market! I saw two workers continuously checking the expiration dates and sorting out any defective products/food/drinks. My wife and I were very impressed.
2. Cleanness. Never judge a book by its cover! The building is not a new modernly built building (pretty sure the building is at least 10-15 yrs old lol). And you also may think that you would smell some of that 'old wood smell'. However, everything about this market is clean clean clean!
3. The staff is nice and welcoming. They greeted all customers in a kind manner and were willing to help.
4. The food is good. They have a small deli shop inside the market. The price is fair, the portion is good, good quality, and the taste is good!
5. Location. Though Cannon Beach is a relatively small vacation town, this market is located in the heart of town!
6. Varieties. They literally have everything lol! I mean everything!

Cons
1. Hours. I mean the short opening hours are understandable the fact that the market is not located in busy urban areas like LA or NY (I live in LA). Also, Cannon Beach is a kind of family-oriented vacation resort where most tourists would go to sleep early(?).
2. None

Overall, 10/10 market!!! I genuinely don't think you will be disappointed or displeased with this market!

Great market with a wide variety of amazing food and trinkets. A fun market. Make sure you schedule enough time to really browse and enjoy.

Everything you need on the beach. The staff are great. They had me cracking up over the beef jerky. It's the only thing that's open later. That's a good thing though You should be on the beach enjoying the sunset. I highly suggest you stop by here and stock up on all your snacks and goodies. It's close enough you can walk to.

I always find everything i need! Food is fresh and The service is great! Bacon cheese burger/ club sandwich are so delicious! Also try their Clam chowder. It is the best in town and it is homemade soup!! They have large and delicious selection of deli and food! I think this place is the Best grocery store in cannon beach. Highly recommended.

This is a full grocery store and very nicely maintained, shelves where all stocked and faced beautifully. There is even a deli with delicious looking freshly made food. Even a large produce area. The alcohol selection of wine and beer was impressive. When I was driving by I did not expect what I was going to see when I walked inside. Very nice, full and clean with friendly lady cashiering.

FINALLY a business that proudly waves the American flag out front!! Love it!!

Well stocked for a small market in a small touristy beach town. The young woman behind the counter was very helpful, efficient and charmingly friendly. Looks like they had everything you would need. We will keep that in mind the next time we are in the area. No need to drive to the next larger town for the things you forgot to pack. Highly recommend!

I went cannon beach last week for travel.
I was looking for market for a long time and finally I found this place. It looks just right place where it should be for a lot of people. And so many choices there, also reasonable prices! I like the name 'Mariner Market' because so matching with cannon beach.

Anything weird little thing we forgot from home, they typically have. They also have a great wine selection. Would highly recommend.
