The staff is friendly and welcoming.
Parking is tricky downtown, but there are spots along the street.
The food is decent and priced for the area. The beer is cold and has a solid selection of draft and bottles.
There are pool tables, a jukebox, plenty of seating too.
The building is historic and the establishment has been the for a long time, if the walls could talk the stories would be captivating!!!
This place has the right amount of everything for an off the beaten path kind of place yet conveniently located in the bustling down town of Leesburg.
They have a monicker "better here than over there"; the courthouse is across the street, one would like to agree it's better in the Downtown Saloon!!

The weekend was full of fun and entertainment as the Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival took place. The weather was absolutely amazing this year. During my Sunday afternoon escapades, I decide to stop in for some food and coffee.

The bartender was 5 star for her great personality, service and welcoming smile. The food was good. The herb whiskey is worth a try.

You are able to smoke within the bar area. Exceptions are also made to bring your dog in to eat with you. Awesome.

This was my neighborhood bar for 20+ years and I recommend it to anyone traveling through downtown Leesburg. The food is great and the service is even better. The bartenders are excellent, but if not sitting at the bar, you may have to insert or assert yourself between a couple barstools to prioritized your drink request. I’ve seen many reviews about smoke and I want to clarify that there is no smoking during the day and at night, the bar is separated into smoking and non-smoking sections with closure between the 2 sections and separate ventilation. The political climate is strong, but, come on, this is known as a “biker bar,” so it should not be surprising. I’m as independent as they come, often leaning left, and although I try not to discuss politics and religion while drinking at a bar, I sometimes can’t contain myself. In those instances, the regulars I’ve discussed or debated with have always been respectful to me and are surprisingly educated on both. All I’m saying is don’t rule them out because they display a Rebel flag or because a pack of bikers might look “scary” to you. They’re not scary at all, and, trust me when I tell you, if you go in on a busy night you’ll have a blast with all the characters you wouldn’t have met or socialized with elsewhere.

For anyone craving a "darker" setting with ALL the trimmings and SUPER KIND staff, then this is the place for you. The beer is well priced and the staff will take a sincere interest in you...and that means something; no matter what side-of-the-tracks you hail from!

Cool place. Local. Fun time. Band was awsome. Just a good time place. Will come back next time we are in town.

My absolute favorite place in town! I love that no matter who is in there everyone blends so well inside of Paynes. The atmosphere is always fun, food is yummy (especially the wings), bartenders are amazing!! Love Tina, Tyler, & Lisa! Fun place and great people you can't go wrong!!

This is what you would call a "hole in the wall" type place. Pool tables, dart boards, live music, Harley's parked outside. My kind of place. I really enjoyed this place. I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality and large selection of food, The staff was very friendly. The live music was really good when I was there, too. And the people were what you would expect to find here - very friendly and down to earth.

Premier dive bar in Leesburg. The karaoke singers on Friday nights are straight out of American Idol. It might look like a tough crowd at first but everyone is very friendly and there is a surprisingly diverse group of patrons. It might not be nice to look at but it's one of my favorite places to hang out. Drinks are decently priced.

My work crew and I popped in while walking downtown Leesburg. $6 Wing Tuesday!!! My husband and I each had a beer and 10 wings for $20! The wings were surprisingly delicious, cooked perfectly (requested well done) and sauced just enough for the flavor but still had crunch. The beer was nice and cold. Only thing is they do smoke indoors which is a bummer for people with asthma, maybe just get to go lol!

Easily my favorite bar in Leesburg. It's a bit rough around the edges and it's pretty smokey. But if you're looking for a great, classic bar, there's no substitute. Very good wings and fun environment.

Stopped in here for a 4th of July fix. Got more than what we bargained for. The Carolina pulled pork, cole slaw, baked beans, hush puppies, grand slam hot dog w/pulled pork and slaw was more than tasty...it was absolutely wonderfully delicious.
Best surprise...karaoke on Friday’s , Live music Saturday’s , Open Mic Wednesday’s, and all you can eat Ribs on Thursday’s.

One of the most legit dive bars within 50 miles. The bartenders are good people, and take care of everyone who walks through the doors. I moved away for two yeears, and when I came back, they had my drink ready by the time I reached the bar. You won't find that anywhere else.

They also run charity drives for children, homeless people, and homeless pets.

When I am on Leesburg, Downtown Saloon is my second home. It's the best place to establish yourself as a local

Five Star Dive Bar right here. Biker friendly. Beer is always cold and the food is always better than expected. Good times.

Great place, will stop by on every ride that passes thru. Appetizers are tasty and big, plenty of beers on tap, good bartenders... hell of a place.
