Birch Tree Bookstore

Walked into this place on a whim and couldn't be happier that I did. Such a hidden gem in downtown Leesburg. It's exactly the type of store you like to visit and support. Plants aren't my thing but I was actually really interested in what they had which seemed to flow well with the bookstore.

For a smaller book store, their selection was impressive and the staff was super friendly. This will be a regular stop for me and I can't recommend it enough. I'd much rather support a local owned store like this than a big box store.

Very nice little plant/book store. Nice selection of plants in good health. Decent variety of books. They have a small kids section. Aisles are very tight and rooms are small.

This was the cutest bookstore! There is a great selection of both popular and unique selections! As a bonus, it's combined with a plant shop! Books and plants! wahoo! Definitely worth a stop!

Love this bookshop! Superb selection - really the best of the best for every genre you’re looking for and mood you’re in. I could browse all day! The non book items are also adorable, and the plant selection is fantastic. Their new space is roomier and in a cool historic building in downtown Leesburg. This is a best in class independent book store well worth a visit!

This bookstore is so quaint and perfectly lovely! Since this is a small, locally-owned bookstore the selection might be more limited, but I had no trouble finding exciting new reads. Along with their well-organized main section, they have a lovely children's book and YA section with neat crafting sets and unique toys. The stationary section of the store was also a wonderful surprise with very high-quality English sets. I haven't even told you about what makes this bookstore stand out... They have a connected plant store (EcoAmi Plants) with a large variety of beautiful plants. Potted plants for sale are also sprinkled among the books making for a cozy aesthetic throughout the shop. Check them out or attend one of their local events that they hold with partner vendors from Historic Leesburg's small-business owners. They also host a bookclub with featured authors, including local ones. A real LoCo gem!

What an adorable little bookstore with a great selection of books located conveniently in downtown Leesburg next to Cowbell Kitchen just above the Corner Store! We bought some books for my niece(5 yold) and nephew(7 yold) and they absolutely LOVE them! My wife and I also got a great cookbook with delicious recipes! It's so nice to have a wide variety of books for kids and adults to choose from! Thanks Leigh for creating this wonderful bookstore! Great place to go for Holiday gifts! Highly recommend checking it out!

I love this place--books and plants in the same location? Can't go wrong with that. There are also great crafted items. The book clubs that you can join are varied and fantastic. You can find all of them on their website, and you can register there too. This place is the total package--you can go in and see the books and chat with Leah and her crew, or you can stay home and order books from their website. I like having those options, because sometimes I'm looking for a good book and want to ask around. The folks here are incredibly good at helping you find books you'll love. This quaint little bookstore is located in the heart of Historic Leesburg. It's awesome , small but very friendly. There is a small little cafe and at great place to sit outside and converse with a friend or hold a Book Club meeting.

Birch Tree Books hosted a book signing when I released my first children’s book. Leah and Lauren were so supportive and friendly! Not only are they adding a great shopping spot for downtown Leesburg, but they are celebrating local artists, too! Thank you all so much for your support. Love this place! I was amazed at how many children’s titles I found that I had never seen before! Absolutely lovely staff that were so helpful to me and also kind towards my overly-excited kids!
