Bak Middle School of the Arts

The experience of Bak was over way too fast, just having graduated as a Strings Major. The strings program is very outstanding, with the conductor being one of my coaches for life and success. Bak shaped me into the musician I didn't think I could be. The academics are very challenging, but have a very great balance between work and play. The teachers are all very good, the staff is very supporting, and most of all, you can push as far as you want in your art area and academics with no set backs or limitations! Thanks for the great memories Bak!

i'm a 7th grade communications major here and I love it so much. I will have to leave next year and that's really sad because i don't think I'll ever find a school that I can compare to Bak. I have made so many wonderful and diverse friends with different talents, and grown so much from both the art and academic programs. Overall, I think this school was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I've heard so many good compliments and reviews on Bak. BMSOA doesn't stand for Bak Middle School of the Arts, it stands for BEST Middle School of Awesomeness! My parents are still considering about sending me and BMSOA Representatives came to my school (Diamond View Elementary) and I definenetly love BMSOA! Bak won the state champion in step, I've seen their shows. Bak has a lot of real talent and they benefit their kids unlike a school I used to go to. Bak has a lot of talent and I hope to be one of them. If I make it in Bak, my major will be in Communication. Bak is the Best Choice!

I'm an 8th grade communications major, and it's been great. Though some particular classes are more demanding then others, (Welcome to hell, ENG students. All 7th grade communications majors, prepare for freakin' war) and some students are politically misinformed, (half the school wants Bernie Sanders as president, therefore turning the place into East Berlin without the snow) and a bit of tension between majors, (DON'T TRUST A THEATER MAJOR) it's an excellent place to learn. From afar, we may be viewed as "stuck up rich kids" or have the stereotype of an overachieving, emotionless workaholic who never sleeps, but none of that is true once you attend. The cultural diversity is like none I've ever seen, and while both arts and academics are a bit difficult, you can have one of the best learning experiences in the state. We're the only middle school in Florida that has its own radio station and daily news program, and one you leave, you'll never forget. Shout out to Mrs. Moorer (I've seen her reactions to unfinished work, and she scolds me quite a bit in her radio class, but she always appreciates my sense of humor. Thanks!)

I'm an 8th grade vocal major at Bak. Bak has been the best experience of my life and I couldn't ask for more. Also don't believe comments that people write that don't even go to the school there are not true.

I am a 9th Grader now at Dreyfoos and I went to Bak (vocal was my major). Bak is amazing and Dreyfoos is also amazing but so far, I think that Bak is better by far!

I just check out this school online and its my dream school come true the visual art program is my style and this school just seems so cool hopefully one day I'll be able to go here

im a new 7 grader and i like it so far i wish i came in 6 grade because the 6 graders look like there having a lot of fun im a strings major

Everyone here seems so friendly. The principle is so nice to me as well as the band teacher! Can't wait to start!
