Stop into MVR before heading to the big box stores! Whether you're feeling creative or feeling the need for a refresh on an existing room or project, MVR has what you need. Plus, the shop dog is such a joy, and the Manager is knowledgeable and helpful. I've heard other customers say "you saved me a trip to Wasilla!" and if you live in Palmer, you know that's always a good thing!

This is a great place to find anything from nails & screws, light fixtures, doors, vanities, there's too much to list. Go check it out, you'll find things you didn't know you needed.

Fantastic place! Very helpful, and a great variety of choices for parts of projects. Please support this FANTASTIC local business, as while the stock is more limited and the scale is not "big box store" sized, it's better than any other reclaimed and used home store I've ever been in.

Have a lot of things I needed. About half the price of new... so it can be a bargain but a lot of it is used and older items. Some things could be cheaper on sale in stores new and should be a lot less price considering they probably would have been thrown away but I support local business and they are reusing instead of filling up the landfill.

Love this place! Helping a friend redo parts of their home, and we've been able to find much of what we need here with wonderful prices as compared to the big box stores. I love supporting local businesses with an emphasis on a mission to help the community and others. I cannot say enough about the owner and his wife, just people I would want to not only do business with, but sit around a campfire and swap stories. Why shop huge corporations when you can support a neighbor who also wants to help neighbors?

Huge fan - of both what's inside the store and the mission. As a resident of the valley I appreciate the devotion to keeping reusable items out of our landfill so as to keep our amazing greenspace open to trails and not trash! There is a huge variety of materials for any project I need... and plenty of projects are born out of what I find in the store! The customer service is excellent especially since I don't often know what exactly I need and the quality of materials available is incredible.

This is a great place to buy recycled new/used/surplus home construction items such as bath tubs, showers, paint, a variety of hardware, flooring, cabinets, etc. Please shop here before buying new materials. This store reduces items from ending up at landfill and repurposes those items effectively. The staff are professional and provide excellent customer service. This store has saved me hundreds of dollars.

This place is the bomb! The inventory continues to grow, and I find something new everytime I go. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, and a relaxed environment. This is definitely the best place to find used tools in the Valley. Can't wait to go back!

Spent a lot of time there last fall. I renovated my buddy’s place and wanted save as much money for him as possible so I checked out MVR. It didn’t matter what we needed, light fixtures, counter tops, a sink, windows, lumber, it’s crazy all the stuff that Tim has there. Great place. Great prices. I recommend it.

Funnest man hangout. Great place with low prices on stuff to fill your garage! If you don't have a garage you can get 70% of the materials there to build one and all you need to buy otherwise is your lumber package 📦

I found this place after hearing a radio spot. I've been putting off projects because the price of materials has been so crazy. This shops got a ton of stuff, reasonably priced, locally run. kind of amazing.
