Charles River Bike Trails

Are you looking for a perfect place to go with your kid for bicycling? You must not miss this place.

We walked while the son enjoyed bicycling for miles. The trail is well maintained and wide enough. I highly recommend it. There were people from all walks of life - walking, running. There were benches to sit and relax on the trail.

We spent couple of hours here and would be returning back.

Update - 5/25/22 this time took the trail towards senior citizen center via Fino field. Almost plain and fully paved. Good time spent.

Update - 9/3/2023 love ❤ being back here. New disc play area and clean and well maintained as it has been always. Noticed new construction 🚧 near parking.

Great place to take a run! Lots of entry points. And decent parking and several of them.

Very beautiful park, not overwhelming and easy trails for family fun

This place has beautiful scenes ,swans,ducks,can walk dogs,might run into deers,you can bike ride and skate board,a lot of parking in fino field and close to lake ❤

This is a great trail! Goes through the woods, by the lake, and some across streets, with proper signals for bike crossing, it is also well maintained. I love to bike and will be coming back 👍

They now also have disc golf! Right by Louisa lake. The bike trail itself is long if you are walking it so be very prepared if you are trying to walk from end to end.

Nicely maintained paved bike trail with clear road crossings and signals to indicate pedestrian/bike crossing.

This is a great place for walking or bike riding. So beautiful and all paved for ease. Picturesque views as well.

We are extremely blessed to live in walking distance to this beautiful trail. It is well maintained and the local community actively uses it. We love going for walks with our dogs or riding our bikes.

This is my go-to for biking and walking!
Excellent trails!

This is a quiet and beautiful trail. While the park and path are well used there is often plenty of space between people. My one gripe is the amount of litter all along the path. I think more trash cans would help but people also need to hold onto their trash.

A very fun place to go for a walk or biking.

Simply a great path, condition of the surface is excellent, most (but not all) of the street crossings have signal lights.

Sweet bike riding.....this trail is about 20' wide that's all blacktop, even a yellow line in the middle so people stay right and man they do stay right

Another nice pedestrian\ bike trail.
I don't think its the 12 miles claimed . but I could have got my destinations all mixed up.
The only compliment on those who rule us.

Great looking area with plenty of scenic sitting spots. Great place to run

Great scenic trail. Has a couple of hills (just the right amount) very picturesque route. All of the bikers are very respectful.

However the most dog owners are ignorant in the fact they don’t pick up after their dog and most walk their dog without a leash (very unsafe) some people and children are scared of dogs.
