Really appreciated the same-day appointment to address Sadie’s case of worms and the flexibility to incorporate a new-patient physical and first round set of vaccinations — saving me the cost and time of returning for the previously scheduled new-patient appointment a week later. Very positive first visit to the practice. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and kind!

This was our first time at Acorn, brought our 6 month old kitten Buckwheat and our 7 week old kitten Tabitha, the amount of love and caring they showed for them was fantastic, they are truly animal lovers and are dedicated to the health and well being of our pets. And they are extremely informative and sympathetic to your needs. We’re very glad we chose them as our veterinary experts!

We needed a same-day appointment for one of our pets who managed to injure himself. The staff at the front desk who took the emergency call were very friendly and got us an appointment to be seen very promptly. Overall excellent care!

I travel from Lincoln RI to continue with Acorn after using them for many years living in MA. I have recommended Acorn to family and friends and one of my friends also uses Acorn from RI. Fern Rose will get the best care there!

Every time I take Bella to see the Acorn Animal hopsital, all of the staff is amazing. They always get on the floor at her level and really let her feel comfortable and make it easier to take care of her needs.

The vets at Acorn Animal Hospital take the best care of our high energy rescue pup, and the front desk staff is always so kind and helpful! We travel from Rhode Island for Acorn, even though there are plenty of closer options nearby, because they have been so wonderful.

Dr. Bollen is amazing. She has literally done everything to save my cats life. Although he won’t live for a long time, he’s happy and comfortable and i get to spend more and more time with him everyday because of her. Other vets wanted to give up on him but she never has and I’m so thankful. ❤

All of the staff and Drs at Acorn are professional and personable and helpful. You can instantly tell everyone loves being there and that they truly care for your pet’s well-being.

Came in with a 9 week old puppy who had just fallen and injured their front leg. The hospital took my dog in immediately and got my puppy looked at. They were so nice and thorough despite my sudden emergency visit. They helped my puppy and gave him some meds to feel better and helped relieve all the stress I was feeling. Couldn't be happier with how we were treated.

After going to another vet who was a bit unfeeling and insisted I give a sick cat a rabie shot, wanting to do tons of tests, with no answers she insisted that I feed only bland prescription diet to a cat that stopped eating. No concern I had another cat or that both are fussy rescues, I sought a second opinion from Acorn. They were personable and did not recommend a bunch of tests just an ultrasound. The technician who delivered the bad news was direct and thought more of my fur baby and what would make her comfortable. I appreciate people that know and understand that your pet is part of your family, not just a cat/dog/bird...

Acorn animal hospital has taken great care of Bones for 2+ years. They provide excellent medical attention, timely immunizations, and are always responsive to his needs. We highly recommend them. In addition, we'd also recommend their services for boarding and grooming.

We have always had a positive experience here. We were won over by Dr. Bollen’s incredible kindness and exceptional care when our greyhound sliced his paw open. She was phenomenal! At the time we had recently moved to town so she wasn’t even our official vet yet. Immediately following that we switched and have been extremely happy with the care and kindness we always receive.

Our Maeve suffers from situational-anxiety. Vet appointments, grooming all create an experience where she is scared, and the only thing she can do is try to keep people away from her.

Doctor Bollen has taken Maeve under her wing. She has worked with us to help Maeve be successful. Dr. Bollen, and the entire Acorn Team, do everything they can to setup Maeve for success.

Maeve is a sweet girl and having a team behind her like Dr. Bollen and Acorn makes a world of difference in her health and happiness.
