This place is always amazing! 😋

My kid had a burrito, and I enjoyed my favorite, the Miguel special. I've never been able to finish it all, but I still try every time.

We were in and put faster than the McDonald's drive thru with full bellies of delicious food 😋

Stopped here after our ride and wasn’t disappointed! Really nice Mexican restaurant. Food was amazing! Must have their house Margarita! Decor was pretty cool. The paintings on the walls were well done. We had lunch, spent $80 for two full lunches and two margaritas. They do offer take out. It is a lot of food. I think you could easily share a lunch special and appetizer for two people. There’s a lot to choose from on the menu. The staff was friendly and courteous. Definitely would visit here again.

Two things you need to order immediately: margarita on the rocks and the special hot salsa. Then you can get comfortable for the rest of the review or meal.

This was our first visit and to say we were blown away is an understatement. Short wait for a party of seven.

The regular salsa is good and anyone can eat it. We recommend the hot salsa, that brought some serious flavor to the chips.

We ordered margaritas on the rocks and just said “good tequila” and no Cuervo. Amazing! So much flavor and no common tequila taste.

The menu is extensive and took some time to decide on what to get. With 7 people at the table, everything was great.

Best way to describe the restaurant? A well oiled machine where everyone helps each other to enhance the diner’s experience.

I highly recommend visiting Tapatio’s and we will be back.

I’ve always loved Tapatio’s! Even on a busy Saturday night with a line out the door, they still seem to get you in within a reasonable amount of time. Super fast table service, and the food is always very fresh and tasty! It’s the best Mexican food in Polk county that I’ve found so far!

Excellent service at a reasonable price. portions were good size and everything came out fast. Casual atmosphere, friendly service. Plentiful parking even at peak dinner time on a Friday. Definitely would go back. Great value. Bar seating as well as bigger tables. Clean bathrooms. Good choice for Mexican eats. They even had red manudo.

I've always loved coming to tapatios for dinner. Everything tastes so good and the staff is always friendly. My personal favorite is the chilled rellenos. Haven't found anywhere else that can beat them.

El Tapatios is the place to go for Taco Tuesday 🌮! Refreshing House Margaritas 🍹, and authentic Mexican cuisine. Kids can also get fun quesadillas, and crunchy chicken, or beef tacos. The restaurant is beautiful, and the staff is always kind and helpful 😀 Plenty of available parking makes it easy to get in, and eat!

Stopped in for Taco Tuesday. Got the Carne Asada Taco Platter to share with my husband. Delicious! Kids got tacos and quesadilla off the kids menu. Beautiful building. Fun music! Great atmosphere. Waitress was prompt and attentive. Will come again!

I've been dreaming of this place since I first tried it in January on a short trip to Florida. Now that I've moved here, I hope to work my way through the entire menu. Great atmosphere, friendly and fast service, and great flavors. I had the Quesadilla Mexicana and my wife had the Jalisco Shrimp and the a margarita. Everything was perfect.

Food was delicious. All 3 of us enjoyed our food. Refills on our teas came quickly. Server was quick to bring stuff out. The restaurant was clean. Little bit of a wait to be seated but nothing too long (less than 10 minutes).

I had a steak burrito. Excellent. Very nice staff. I would recommend you eat there. I will be eating here again when I am back in this area.

This restaurant is tucked away in an unassuming strip, but when you come inside, you are struck by the smell of fresh food cooking.

Everything is freshly cooked, even the corn tortillas of the tacos! The Jalapeno pepper in the spicy salsa is extra spicy since it is fresh. I got the Tacos Governados, which has a range of flavors for a nice price.

Atmosphere: The staff are friendly, the Mexican music playing on the radio is beautiful, and the murals on either side of the restaurants far walls are simply stunning!

The bar you see when you enter is a nice touch as well, and you can watch the workers cook the food right in front of you!

The chef, Jesus, is exceptionally pleasant!

I strongly recommend this restaurant!

Went in and was greeted by nice staff very excellent service and had a delightful lunch with a huge experience of authentic Mexican cuisine definitely a must try restaurant.

I've been going to the Southside Tapatios restaurant for years. The staff is always welcoming and kind. The food is consistently tasty and at a fair price. I enjoy the grilled fish tacos, but I have to change it up from time to time. If you eat there, the wait staff greet you with a smile and the atmosphere is fun and kid friendly. If you happen to order takeout, they get the food out to you quickly. Either way, their salsa is fresh tasting, and I like to mix in their spicy salsa to kick it up a notch. 5/5

Excellent and large selection of food. Everything taste great and was reasonably priced. Beautiful environment. Portions are large so be hungry! Highly recommend.
