Oriental Pearl Seafood Restaurant

This is my family’s favorite Chinese restaurant. We go there every Sunday for Dim Sum (lunch) and dinner on special occasions and “just because”. We have gone there for 20+ years. We are Chinese from Hong Kong so we know Chinese food. If you are looking for REAL and good Chinese food in Atlanta, this is the place to go. They have a real fish tank so you can have fresh seafood (lobster, fish, etc) Staff is friendly. Place has been recently updated. We liked it so much, we had our rehearsal dinner there in 2021 😄 Also you can’t go wrong with the Peking duck and fried oysters. 😋🤤

My husband and I are addicted to the hot jasmine green tea & dim sum here! Friendly staff, quick service. We love the atmosphere and its fun seeing all the steaming carts with stacks of dim sum roll by. We live an hour away and travel here once a month to get our dim sum fix! 10/10 recommend this place!

Yall the food was amazing. I got the Peking duck 2 different ways, steam buns and in a stir fry and I knew they had a regular out of me! I went for my birthday and we are going back next month for my sisters. One of the best experiences ever.

I have been her many times and I'm always impressed. Today was the first time we were able to go for the Dim Sum and it was amazing. 10/10 I always discover something new and tasty. The tofu skins stuffed with what I think was a shrimp paste were amazing. They also have things for a less adventurous eater but very authentic and very delicious

Great Dim Sum… just wish the carts were more consistent. Many items at Noon were cold when they would have tasted better hot. 12:30-1 on Sunday is the best time to go.

It's been a while since we've dined here. The place was packed too! At first I was less than excited about being seated back near the kitchen. It was very loud and busy with empty cart traffic. But then I realized what a special treat it was ...we were right near all the hot items exiting the kitchen! Everything delicious and the service was kind and attentive. I didn't see shrimp on sugar cane or braised beef short ribs, but the char sui pork ribs were nice and tender. The egg tarts were buttery with a nice flaky crust.

Oriental Pearl seafood in Chinatown! Had to come here for dim sum on Christmas Day because this is one of the most traditional restaurant that is in Atlanta. I loved the chrysanthemum hot tea and the White Radish cake. Thumbs up for opening on Christmas Day!!

We visited a couple of places for dim sum it is way too oily, but Oriental Pearl Restaurant still has the best dim sum. I give it 5 stars on the food. For the services they should improve, we wanted to have more foods but when the restaurant got busy, the server or the food cart didn't even come around.

Passing through stop by for dim sum, we were early, and everything was so fresh and delicious 😋. It is still the best place for Dim sum!!!

My son and I ate here today for a late lunch. It was fantastic! I had eaten here years ago and remembered it as a good place. It still is! Our waitress was very helpful. It was my son's first "real" time eating Chinese food, and I think that he liked it. I plan on returning!

Food was tasty and authentic. Cooked to order fairly quickly. Really enjoyed the experience in the food court. There were a lot of options on the menu, the soup in particular looked fantastic. Its definitely on my list to try next visit.

We went here for dinner and ordered the Peking duck (duck soup and sautéed duck included), snow pea leaves with garlic, and ginger scallion lobster. The Peking duck was sliced in front of us. Everything was delicious and the staff was attentive and friendly. They gave complimentary orange slices at the end.

Delicious! We came on a Saturday morning and it got packed quick! We tried a ton of different Dimsum options and everything was delicious. We will definitely return

Authentic and delicious dim sum! Attentive staff and fast service, too. We were here about six months ago -- same great experience. We'll keep coming back.

Pretty authentic Dim Sum! 炸兩 was great. The Chinese donut inside was crispy! Average about 3 Dim Sum per person and about $20 per person.

May 14,2021. The most challenging Day of my life; Leaving the funeral home after making final arrangements for my Son ( Mohamed). My Daughter surprised me with a warm quite environment that gave me clarity on what had just taken place. Reminding me to focus on who was still here with me. Bitter Sweet Mother's Day!!

The most authentic Chinese food in Atlanta area. The service was excellent the people were all very friendly.

My rating on any restaurant that I go to are food,service, cleanliness and atmosphere if they meet all that standard I'll give a 5 stars and this place is. It's also worth noting that the authenticity of the food.

Best dimsum ever! This place is soul food for the Asian soul. Whenever we get homesick, we head over to Oriental Pearl and make ourselves comfortable. We love the siomai, congee, chicken feet, ma chang, and sesame seed balls, just to start. The place just feels like home.

Parking is somewhat limited, so either get there early or a little later.

We decided to try this Chinese Restaurant. It was a very nice place. The food was actually really good. And for the price we paid.... you can’t beat it!
