Brew Birds

Stopped in here for a quick bite. Unbeknownst to me, Brew Birds was having their 4 year celebration. The patio area was full of families having a great time with their kids and plenty of entertainment and activities to keep the little ones occupied and engaged.

I really enjoyed the food, and the selection of beers and non-alcoholic beverages was plentiful. They even had a liquid death water flavor that was new to me. I will definitely have to stop by again!

The decor and atmosphere were very down to earth and really cool. I'm a big fan of the string lights and the striped paint. The chalkboard menu is a nice touch 👌

Great coffee, vast beer selection, and surprisingly excellent food!

Chicken tenders were legit white meat with good flavor and crunch (none of that process mystery meat garbage). They also make their own BBQ sauce, and it was amazing! It was like a BBQ salsa, which sounds off-putting, but was REALLY good.

The fries are similar to Checker's, if you've ever had them, and are beautifully seasoned and fried.

The Mac & Cheese was the star, though... this mac was better than the dishes I get at full-on restaurants for over double the price. If you're a Mac & Cheese lover, grab an order of it when you're here.

Plenty of parking, but very limited seating when the outdoor section is closed.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place. HIGHLY recommend the Roast Beast. We love trying new hard drinks, BB always switches their inventory every few days/weeks and typically support other VA businesses. Service is always quick and it’s a great place to get some work done/quick lunch.

Hello… our first visit in lunch at Brew Birds and WOW, we got sold by the food quality and service!!!… it was quick, fresh and reasonably priced… coming from NYC, don’t recall when we last had such awesome Portobello Mushroom and Roast Beef sandwiches along with Falafel Salad. The textures, ingredients and sauces were just at their level, almost to the perfection and mouth watering… hot Latte is a MUST try!!!

First time patron. I ordered a Southwest Fried Chicken Salad and was pleasantly surprised at the extremely fresh contents of the salad and the wonderful tastes of a variety of different items that made up the salad to include pickled onions, beans, a semi-spicy Southwest ranch dressing, tomatoes and a number of other items along with the spinach and lettuce greens. Again, the freshness of the salad was evident and made the experience great. Service was very friendly though it did take a few minutes to make the dish, but they actually fried the white chicken meat fresh, so I was fine with a few extra minutes of waiting for a very good salad. I would recommend this restaurant and they have a nice selection of items on their breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. There is some seating inside but I imagine when this place is busy it's difficult to find a place too plop down. Thanks for a terrific dish!

My wife and I came by here today to try out the coffee and we are glad we did. It's a neat little coffee shop with decent seating. It was a little busy when we visited, and the coffee tasted great! I always enjoy places that serve with a mug and my Chai was really good.

If you are looking for a combination of delicious coffee/food with lively music and outdoor seating, this is a place for you.

Only downside is that the inside seating is limited, so one may not always get a table to dine-in during winter days.

AMAZING coffee and actually delicious food. I am so tempted to gate-keep this place for myself, but I’ll share the love. Extremely clean facility and friendly staff. They have heaters outside on their patio and the location is prime right off of 50. Their fried chicken salad and homemade syrups are top quality.

Brew Birds has some of the best coffee around and offer creative seasonal options like cinnamon roll (my favorite) and coconut lattes in addition to the usual. This is more than just a local coffee spot though - it’s also a great spot to stop when you’re looking for more than just a coffee and croissant (although they have that too). They offer a full menu of breakfast and lunch/dinner options, including tasty vegan dishes. The weekend specialty burgers are a must - always delicious! Everything is made fresh, so you can expect to wait a few minutes while your food is being prepared.
They also offer craft brews on tap to enjoy with your meal or you can pick up your favorite in the shop, along with locally famous Dolcezza Gelato to take home and enjoy later.
Service is swift and friendly and servers are knowledgeable about the food and brew offerings if you’re having a hard time making a choice or need customization.
There is some seating available indoors as well as a large outdoor patio area which is perfect for hanging out on a beautiful day. Parking is plentiful since they are located in a shopping plaza. However it’s worth noting that there is no handicap parking close to the Café.

Brew Birds has all the fixing a beer and coffee armature or expert could want. Quality product with a touch of pride across the whole menu.

I had the Onion Jam burger and was blown away at the flavor and execution of this jovial display of burger flavors. The prosciutto was such a *chefs kiss* beautiful addition to an already delicious burger. Fries are fresh and made with great seasoning!

The beers on tap and available for pick up are superb! The Untappd list is a suggestion so make sure to get there earlier rather than later to snag a top notch beer!

Overall , we will be returning. Cheers!

Friendly staff, good coffee, and delicious food. The Roast Beast sandwich is on point - though its begging for arugula - and fries were hot and crispy.

Great breakfast sandwich and delicious breakfast burrito. Fresh quality ingredients were used , we were happily impressed.
Counter culture coffee is yummy. They sell whole bean bags to go. Lots of cute gifts in the store for the coffee lover on your list. Outdoor seating area is nice. They had some local beers w some cool names on them.

My first online order was filled and delivered within a half hour on a weekend. I live within 1 mile of Brew Birds. Once I placed my order, I was called to confirm details. The delivery driver waited until I grabbed my order from my front door step.

The food was fresh and delicious. Perfectly toasted bread, crispy bacon, crunchy pickle with my sandwich. The loaded tots were perfectly topped: add tomatoes and cilantro for added yum!

I love trying out different local coffee shops, so stumbled upon this small Cafe. coffee was really good, would definitely get again. didn't try any food so no comments on that. plenty of parking. friendly staff.

Wonderful coffee and sandwiches! A great place for lunch or carry out dinner (serves beer to go) so any will they got you covered with their great menu selections!

Love their unique menu items and specials. Their coffees actually come in beautiful ceramic mugs with the pretty foam on top -- something you don't see a lot of coffee spots doing anymore.

Excellent coffee (Counter Culture), great menu selections, an amazing selection of local craft beer, cider and wines.

And I love the fact that whenever I’m there it seems like they just cooked a fresh batch of bacon. Smells heavenly.

I come here few times a week for their amazing coffee AND freshly baked croissants! But today I tasted a lunch/dinner item- Falafels!!! God dayyyum, they were super fresh and flavourful (trust me, I can cook). I was blown away as to how soft they were from the inside and SO incredibly crispy and golden brown from the outside. It was heavenly. The sauces were spot on as well. Y'all need to definitely give this place a try!

Fantastic service. Looks new and modern design which I love. Specialty drinks and great coffee selection. Food items are great but need to try most of them. Will come here very often. Real gem close to where I commute.

BUT one thing. They need bigger cups.
This is the age of LARGE fluid drink sizes. The picture is the largest size they have at 16 oz. Give me more of the good stuff. Seriously- I’ll pay. 😉
