The Spot on Mill Street

I’m writing this while I’m sitting in the restaurant. Don’t walk but RUN to this place. It’s absolutely delicious. This lovely restaurant will definitely be our go to. The food was immaculate, the service was phenomenal and atmosphere is out of this world🪐🔭🚀. Everything was FILLED WITH FLAVOR!!

Brought my mother here for a lunch date. Love the atmosphere. We were on the patio which is fresh air, yet enclosed, has a fire pit, and I absolutely LOVE the throws on the chairs. Burger and potato salad was amazing! It didn't even look real the quality was so good. I highly recommend the crantini! Danora, Kim, and Denise are lovely staff with good southern hospitality. We will definitely be back as I didn't touch their bar menu this time around (4 pages Times New Roman 14 font if you want an idea of how much they have lol)

The owners and staff are AMAZING! So warm, welcoming, and friendly. We had great conversation with them. The food was delicious. The Spot will be our new spot.

The food was good. Had a brunch with my teenagers. Their Mac and cheese with lobster was delicious. The crescent club sandwich was pretty good, too.

We always have a great experience at The Spot! Owners are friendly, drink list is fantastic, and the food is yummy. The back patio is our favorite in every season! Mimosa flight pictured :)

Had a great day out and stopped at The Spot on Mill Street for lunch! Delicious waffles, and we enjoyed the non-alcoholic "mimosas" too!

This was the best version of don’t judge a book by its cover! The outside appearance looks like a house! When you walk in it’s a beautiful home filled with beautiful people who greeted us with smiles and laughter and genuine friendliness! Each room had its own character and vibe..bourbon tastings in one room, wine tastings in another just to name a few. Before I get to lost in how amazing this place is let’s get to what I ordered lol. I ordered a cinnamon roll and then said let’s get crazy and asked if they can use my cinnamon roll for my breakfast sandwich! It was amazing! The mimosa flight we ordered *chefs kiss* Bryce was absolutely amazing ask for him ☺

If you haven't visited "The Spot" , then you're in the wrong SPOT. The food, the service and the atmosphere is awesome. We talked to the owner (Denise) true southern hospitality, very personable. The potato salad was oh my goodness 😋. One of the most extensive drink menu I've come across. Tell them that "Tang" sent you.

Wow! This place was such a hidden gem for me! Loved the food! It was so fresh and filling. Loved the service! We were constantly provided excellent care from the time we entered the door until we left. Everyone was pleasant.
My CHUMS group was very impressed and I will be back for date night!

What an awesome, cozy spot, especially if you want to be away from a big crowd but still enjoy good food and drinks. We had a great conversation with the owner and workers. Everyone was friendly and had great customer service skills. Oh, the bourbon selection is awesome!

If you're looking for a cozy, tasty, relaxing, warm & friendly atmosphere to sip on a good drink this is where you need to be. I love that they are upfront on the website about the need to be able to walk the stairs & that reservations are encouraged during their busy weekend hours.

We loved our drinks & food. The added touch of blankets was the best. Staff was great along with some of the regular patrons too. Next time we'll go upstairs to check out the wine. Personally, we enjoyed the chicken flatbread pizza, spinach dip, Spot burger, house salad, BLT & some drinks. Also looking forward to explore the area more next visit.

It is not wheelchair accessible but if you can ambulate stairs there was handicap parking & regular street parking nearby.

Best food, best service , best bourbon, best choices , best staff, best owners ! I’ve never been so happy for this evening ! It was all I’ve wanted and more ! Thank you to The Spot ! Can’t wait to come back! Best Birthday ever !!

My husband and I went in for a quick drink while walking around Occoquan for the annual Peep Show, and we stumbled into the left side where the intimate barroom was. We met the amazing owners, David and Denise and they welcomed us in with open arms and a full knowledge of every single bottle on the shelf. Another couple joined us from outside, then a gentleman running for office in PWC. What was going to be a quick dry ended up being an amazing experience, great conversation, some cool history of the building dating back to George Washington in the 1750s who stopped by on his travels, wonderful cheeseboard, and hours of fun for all of us. To say we REALLY love this place doesn't do it enough justice. We have found our local whisky room in the area!! Thank you so much David and Denise for more than just a tasting, but for an experience!! Thank you also to Ana one of the staff members that also took care of us! We will be back for more dates 😊

Highly recommend for weekend brunch! The pancake platters have a great variety and everything is delicious. There was plenty of food for the 4 of us.

This gem has a hidden back patio that is absolutely delightful in the winter! It's been closed in with added heaters and even blankets at each chair if you get chilly.

The sandwiches we had were all fabulous. The perfect balance of flavors and textures.

What a quaint, fun place with a great vibe, friendly and welcoming owners and staff, and delicious food!!! The owners are adorable and so down to earth. We will definitely be back! In fact, I've chosen this wonderful cafe/restaurant as the spot for my wedding reception. You should definitely go and check this place out!!

Ended up here cause other places had a long waiting list but this was far better than the other options we were looking into. Service was OUTSTANDING and the flat bread we had were really good. Like the name says, this is a Bistro, so don't expect large plates or full entres, but the things they have are enough. They also got beers, spirits, wines and Cheese boards to enjoy while drinking. The gelato was also to die for. Overall pretty nice place, very comfortable, with amazing staff who where motivated to give good service. Def will be back whenever I go visit the town.

This place is awesome. The staff are delightful and the service is good. We were last there for a birthday brunch and the bloody Mary was excellent (they make their own mix and it's wonderful), as are the mimosa flights (the selection on those it's super fun!). I love their Americano. They have a good beer and wine list. All of the food we tried was great, and there's great options for everyone. It's been a great spot to relax and catch up with friends!
