I have been a client of Stephanie's since she was in massage school. She has an amazing gift of touch, knowledge, and compassion. While I don't go and see her as often as I would like to, I have recently made a commitment to myself to get some knots and issues worked on in my body. Stephanie truly has an incredible gift for making you feel relaxed and well taken care of. She uses the perfect amount of pressure and dedicates time to problem areas making you feel refreshed even hours later. The shop in Downtown Leesburg, VA is quaint and comfortable and luckily for me, walking distance from my home. I've been there twice, sent my husband as well. We are both looking forward to going back and making this part of our personal well being routine. I highly recommend taking some time for yourself and booking a massage at Awakenings.

My bride and I did a couple's massage and it was wonderful. After a crazy busy week, weekend's worth of errands and some shopping (her retail therapy) we needed to relax. My masseuse was careful not to agrivate my injuries and completely relaxed me. We will make an appointment next time we're in town to ensure they can fit us in. Stephanie is a phenomenal masseuse, I've been getting massages for years, I've tried chains and boutiques alike, never before have I met such an engaging and caring professional in the field. I've been a customer of Awakenings for a little over a year and Stephanie takes massage and personal wellness beyond the typical pay to relax service. Stephanie cares for her clients, she wants to get to know them and how best she can help. Awakenings offers an ever expanding list of services to clients needs ranging from traditional massage, deep tissue, couples massage, reiki, spray tan, eyelash service, etc… and I would consider this the must try place for massage services in Loudoun county.

This was the best massage I’ve ever had by a landslide. I have an extremely tight upper back and neck and the therapist managed to work out ALL of the tight spots. The atmosphere was great and very professional. I got more benefit from one visit here than my last 10 visits to massage envy combined.

I was looking to make improvements in my skin after noticing the signs of aging. I started working with Stephanie with facials and exfoliating treatments. Stephanie customized a skin care routine just for me and my skin type. After just a few weeks I noticed a huge difference in my skin. I noticed clearer more supple skin right away. After doing the dermaplane treatment I really saw a difference! The exfoliating takes literal years off and the removal of all my peach fuzz means make up goes on perfectly. I am so happy to have a personal skin care guide who can navigate my needs as they change.

I have never been a message person, I have always felt weird about it. Previously I have had only two in my life and those were at resorts (honeymoon, and a birthday gift in Vegas), and the results never exceeded my anxiety. I really had a sore neck and shoulder and a colleague, suggested I get a massage. I selected Awakenings based on reviews and proximity. Everything was easy, setting up the appointment, arriving. Nicole made everything comfortable, time seemed to stop, I kept feeling my time was running out but, it just kept going. When my time was up, the soreness was greatly reduced, and overall I felt fantastic, and maybe lighter (in feeling anyway). It was the first massage that I felt was worth dealing with my own hangups.

Last week, I had a massage scheduled at a chain location and they cancelled the last minute. Determined to get a massage after looking forward to it all week, I called a few spas and Awakenings had a last-minute opening. What a find! A very theraupeutic massage with a great masseuse. They’ll definitely be seeing me again!

Stephanie has created a welcoming and relaxing space in a cute boutique space. She explained everything and made the experience super efficient. Looking forward to coming back.

Wonderful caring staff! I had a deep tissue massage for a stiff neck and felt such great relief that lasted for days! Highly recommend!
