Inova Behavioral Health Services Inpatient

I give it four star since this place is very clean and comfortable. Everyone gets his/hers own big room. However, food is awful most of the time. Salad dressings are usually missing or there is no salad available at all. Nurses are very professional . Supporting staff is not professional at all. I got yelled at by Delanica just because I told that food was really bad and I couldn't eat anything. Therapy was helpful. Overall, it is not a bad place with exception of a few.

Overall, the experience wasn't pleasant, but the nurses and technicians were friendly and kind. I think psychiatrists tend to be more curt. It wouldn't hurt for the psychiatrists to attempt being a little more compassionate or empathetic. I think that the staff really tries their best to make it as pleasant as possible, and give the best acute care they can.

They ridiculed me at this facility while I was dealing with Sainthood.

Dr. Patwa is not patient friendly and his accent precludes Zoom meetings because it is difficult to understand.
