This hotel has great amenities for everyone. The person at the front desk Chris helped me and my family get a room with an ocean view. I enjoyed the food by the poolside and nearby restaurants like Taverna on the Bay. I would recommend this place for families and getaways.

Our room was great, right by a pool with GREAT view of the beach and a balcony looking out to the beach and ocean. So many different places to get food and drinks right on the resort and nice restaurants around as well within walking distance. The room was extremely clean, had a kitchenette area and living room space which was amazing to have in a "hotel" room. Bathroom water pressure was great, rooms were quiet despite having people in the rooms next to us which is so unusual for a hotel--definitely did not go unnoticed!! Staff was all very nice. Love that you can visit both hotels and explore. Beach truly is the BEST beach, so clean and sand is amazing. We absolutely loved our time here and will be visiting again soon. Can't say enough good things!

All staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, especially Melissa Boyd! Rooms were nice and the pools and layout were nice as well. Not impressed with the RumFish Grill, but won’t let that negative experience affect the rating of the resort itself. Look forward to coming back in the future.

Had a great vacation with my 3 kids and wife. We stayed in a room overlooking both pools, the ocean and a fire pit. Beautiful. The room was great overall. Could be updated but was not awful.

I would recommend getting groceries at Publix. Make sure to use paper plates and paper towels as those aren't provided for the suites.

We would gladly stay here again. THE SUNSET VIEW FROM THE BEACH IS AMAZING!!!!!!

I Absolutely will be back!! I love that my family and I had free range to do all the activities and felt so relax. No crime whatsoever, which made our trip so much more pleasant. With all the bars and restaurants I always ended up at right outside to the cabana with Porchia and Patrick!!! They not only kept our drinks coming but it was a true experience with tons of passion with them! I WILL BE BACK.

My husband stayed here for a work trip.

This place did not disappoint. Such a beautiful beach with so much for our kids to do. It was amazing. They had zip lining, they had a huge blow up slide, there were beach chairs, a bar, just an absolutely beautiful place. We had a great time. I highly recommend, especially if you have children. There was so much for them to do.

We had 17 adults/kids in our family vacation. Although our rooms were not consecutive, Rum Fish was able to accommodate for the needs of each family involved, including a first floor room for my parents. They were even able to supply a wheel chair able to roll in the sand so we could take my aunt (who just had hip surgery and was not approved to walk on the sand yet) out to hang out with everyone. The kids had so much fun doing the water slide and the zip line. Kids and adults had fun playing ping pong, fooz ball and soccer. The adults enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. Beach access is steps away. Very easy to reserve a cabana - best to do it first thing in the morning and then have access to it the rest of the day! There's shops in Rum Fish and a bunch within walking distance if you need to pick up anything. Publix (grocery store) is less than 2 miles away.
Overall was a wonderful experience! Would recommend to others who want a beach experience vacation!

When can you say that your entire day was turned around by the kindness of others? We had a challenging week at work, then went to our Airbnb for the weekend for the St. Pete Grand Prix in downtown St Pete to find out it was a scam reservation. Airbnb did a fabulous job of getting us another reservation at Rumfish Resort. Then as we checked in with Alis at the front desk, she made sure that our day was going to turn around. She upgraded us to a beautiful beachfront view, and even treated us to a badly needed glass of champagne. Her friendliness and thoughtfulness truly turned our day into a joyful ending because of her. The room is lovely and accommodating, and we couldn't ask for anything more. Highly recommend the resort and the people who run it so well. We also had dinner here, very delicious and great service.

Management and staff are exceptionally accommodating. It is the 1st time stay at this resort n and we love it. Clean and has clean beach for guest

Rooms are spacious, not fancy but very comfortable. Nice little kitchen. Our Balcony had a wonderful view of the beach. The 2 beach bars were great, excellent lunch food. There are several pools so not theyre crowded. Great, friendly, prompt service. We had a really wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

In addition to the adrenaline-pumping activities, the resort offered a variety of games that were perfect for some family-friendly competition. The heated pool was another gem - ideal for relaxation after a day full of activities or for those cooler days when you still want to take a dip.

The live music in the evenings created a magical atmosphere, perfectly complementing the dining experience at the outdoor restaurants. The food was delicious, and the setting, under the stars with the sound of the waves in the background, was simply unbeatable.

What truly set Rumfish Beach Resort apart was the incredible staff. They were super nice and incredibly helpful, always going out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. It's rare to find such a dedicated and friendly team.

I had a great time, the beach was perfect, the staff were above amazing. I had an issue with my room and the staff went above and beyond to make sure things were fixed and overall the room was really great. I absolutely would stay again!

Great resort. Been going for 20 some years now and never had a bad experience. You get all the amenities of the Tradewinds but in a quieter environment.

A good family resort to stay at. It has easy access to the beach and also counts with multiple swimming pools which are heated. There's also a hot tub. There is no free breakfast but you can visit the resort's cafe or go to one of the many businesses near the resort, of which there are many (such as dunkin donuts and ihops). There's a small Starbucks in the lobby too. There are also 2 bars where you can get both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The rooms are good, they have a little kitchen with a fridge, stovetop, sink, and coffee maker. They also have balconies with a beautiful view of the ocean. The resort also has lots of activities for the family going on, including s'mores, live music, arts and crafts, and more. There's volleyball courts, a basketball hoop, shuffleboards, hammocks, etc. It's about half an hour from downtown, so a rental car would be recommended. Would come again!

It's an older hotel, and the rooms could use a little updating, but the location is great. They have fun activities for the family and good amenities. It's a great place to send sometime at St. Pete Beach.

I think I’m very happy with this area, I chose the best option, there’s multiple things to do, you never get bored, friendly and kind staff, if there’s something that you don’t know if you can do, just ask and they’ll be more than happy to assist you over the front desk, I didn’t know if I was able to ride my mountain bike like at 1 am on the beach, they said yes just be careful and bring all the proper equipment with you, I’m definitely coming back, they’ll give you specials prices, I loved it!

My wife and I needed a quick getaway. We were very happy with our stay. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. We will definitely be going back.

We spend 1 week at the Rumfish, it was perfect.
The staff was discreet and efficient.
The evening entertainment especially the guitarist: awesome.
Spectacular sunsets, long walks on the beach, dinner at the Rumfish grill (cuisine and aquarium), etc.
