Kent saved our bacon after a terrible experience with another dealership. We drove 9 hours to look at a car that turned out to be a dud. However, we went about half an hour down the road and Kent had the same car but with 20k less miles, a year newer, and for about 2 grand cheaper. We purchased the car within the hour and had a great experience. We then drove the car over 400 miles through hilly terrain and it ran like a dream with no issues, so it’s safe to say that we made a great choice in buying from Purcellville Motors.

In March 8, 2021 I had an accident with my 2004 Ford SUV. I had some work done on the brakes, but a day after picking it up at the repair shop, the the pedal plunged to the floorboard and I lost control and crashed into a fence and tree. The accident totaled it, but I was protected from injury when the air bags inflated.

Fortunately I found a replacement vehicle 8 days later by searching the internet. Luckily Purcellville Motors had the same year, make and model as the one I totaled! The vehicle had no signs of wear, inside & out... and it had 92,076 less miles on the odometer. I received great service from the dealership!... and felt like I was driving a new car when I drove it home 2 days later. Kent was very helpful in the purchasing process. I am a very satisfied customer!

We worked with Kent to purchase a used minivan last week. It runs great. He completed all of the paperwork in-house and we were out of there quick and easy. Best car buying experience ever! Highly recommend!

UPDATE: Below is from May, 2020. Bought another car in July, 2022. Another great experience. We saw a car that had just been brought in for sale and it needed some work. Very low mileage for a 10-year-old car. Kent and his team did all the work to get the car in good shape, and even with the high demand for used cars gave us a price that was very reasonable by the Blue Book. Still no "processing fee" and gives you a warranty few used car dealers will give. If. you need a car make sure you check them out!

May, 2020: Saw a car online that looked interesting, at Purcellville Motors. I checked with a friend whose family had bought 2 cars from there. They had good experiences. So we checked out the car they had. Kent was extremely helpful, already was offering a low mileage car at a very fair price, well within the Kelley Blue Book range. Most dealers offer no warranty on a used car, so really it's no different than a private party sale--but every dealer charges more than the Blue Book private party price, and most charge a "processing fee" on top of that. No matter what a dealer says, a "processing fee" is just additional money for the dealer's profit. It's not required, and it certainly is not related to what it costs him to do the paperwork for the sale. When you check the price against the Blue Book value, include the processing fee as part of the price.

BUT... at Purcellville Motors, you actually get a 30 day power-train warranty. AND there is no processing fee. You get a CarFax report also! And the folks there are super nice. Kent let us take the car to a mechanic to have it inspected--it was in great shape. They had it cleaned up nice. This was the first car for one of my kids, bought with her own money. I felt very confident it was a good car at a good price. I've been to many, many dealers in this area. I've only seen one other with no processing fee for used cars.

I can't say every car is perfect there. If it has high mileage and hasn't been well maintained, it could have issues lurking that the dealer just can't know. So you have to know the car model, find out what maintenance it needs (like timing belt replacement) and see if that's been reported on the CarFax. But I think you will have a great chance of getting an excellent deal at Purcellville Motors.

Kent was absolutely fantastic. I took my brother here to buy his first car. He had no credit because he's never had a credit card or anything. So, we were having alot of issues with other dealerships trying to get him in a car. We came here and they game us decent money for his trade in and were able to get him in a car with low payments, gap insurance and no cash down. He loves his new car! Kent was fantastic all the way through my car shopping and buying experience. He made sure it was a no pressure situation and even helped after I purchased the car, with a minor issue, even though he was not required to in any way. Overall I would highly recommend Purcellville Motors, and their entire staff, but especially Kent, for their terrific Customer service and splendid level of Customer satisfaction.

Highly recommend! I haven't bought a car from a dealer in over 10 years, so maybe I don't know what the right expectations should be. But I have to say that I had an absolutely amazing experience with Purcellville Motors. I came in with an internet listing of the truck I wanted, so I was a fairly low-maintenance customer. But during the test drive I noticed that the AC didn't seem to be as cold as it should be and I mentioned it in the office. I didn't insist that it be repaired, I didn't even ask them to repair it. I just sort of figured when you buy a 12-year-old truck you have to expect certain things not to work perfectly. Well I came in this morning to pick up my truck, they had just gotten it back from the shop to get the AC fixed anyway. CLASSY! Now I don't know if it just needed a fresh charge of refrigerant, or if it needed an overhaul. What I DO know is that they had pride in their vehicles, and they wanted their customer to be happy.

If you want good old-fashioned neighborly customer service, you don't need to go anywhere else but Purcellville Motors. Ask for Kent. You won't be disappointed.

Oh yeah, and the truck was in very good condition for 12 years old, and was priced lower than I expected. And the monthly payment was lower than I expected too.
