Our motorcycle group of 20 bikers rode the Florida back roads to Goodrich Seafood and Oyster House. The ride was amazing, and the Goodrich Seafood and Oyster House was the highlight. The inside of the restaurant was full, and we sat on the back deck filling 4 tables. The servers were all busy, but did an amazing job taking care of us along with everyone else.

The food was excellent. It was cooked perfectly and was hot when it arrived. You don't always get that when in a large group. I ordered fried pickles, and they were the best ones I have ever had. Rather than pickle chips, they were fried pickles spears.

The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. The deck overlooks the inlet, and an island sits right off of it, so all you see is inlet and island.

I look forward to my next trip to the Goodrich Seafood and Oyster House.

Rode 100 miles from Vero Beach to try this place on a Saturday. We arrived at around noon. Thankfully we had a reservation as there were 12 of us and the place was full. The restaurant is not huge but there is a good amount of seating both inside and outside. Consistent with its name, the menu consists of mostly seafood. I did a salad with grilled chicken and an order of the fried pickle spears. Both were excellent. All of the seafood dishes that the others in my party had were excellent and very fresh.
The restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms. Food prices were very reasonable and the portions were generous. The servers were slammed but handled it really well and we never had to ask for refills, extra napkins or anything else.
If you are in this area and are looking for a nice, out of the way place to go, this may be what you are looking for. We will definitely be back.

Great find for all you can eat shrimp on Saturday night. Local recommended it and he was right. My partner loved the coconut shrimp!🦐. I ordered chicken Alfredo, chicken was marinated in Italian dressing-yummy! Chicken was moist and had a delicious flavor. The Alfredo sauce was very creamy and also delicious! Best I have ever had. We dined at night so did not get to take advantage of the setting on the water but we hear that is a real perk! I would definitely recommend stopping by! Great food and great service!

This was our first visit here. Our server for the evening was Ian, and he was FANTASTIC!!!! He was upbeat, engaged, and informative!! He pointed out things that we may like on the menu based on our idea of what we wanted and had such patience as we asked questions in our uncertainty! He answered questions about food allergies and gave us comfort with choosing from the menu!
Our food was delicious! We had NO complaints!! The fish was tender, and the okra and greens had flavor and the shrimp was cooked without the dry taste to it! We sat outsie, so the atmosphere was beautiful and it made the whole experience that much better! YES!! We WILL be back!!!

Goodrich Seafood and Oyster House is a great destination restaurant to cap off a day trip to the coast or a trip to Merritt Island. This establishment is a true fish camp in the Old Florida style of fish camps. There are many options of fish to choose from not to mention oysters raw, grilled and fried. Poor boy sandwiches and pasta dish options are also available. They make a Florida style fish chowder that is unique and exceptionally tasty. I haven't had their Boston style chowder, but I can definitely recommend the Florida style. Service can be a bit slow and scattered but who cares when the views and food are as great as they are here.

Awesome place! My daughter took me for my birthday. We got there at 4 pm. Planned on sitting out on the deck, as it was cool out. But it would've been a 45-minute wait to sit outside. We opted to sit inside, instead of waiting, but we got a perfect table next to a glass door, had plenty of room, an excellent waitress named Ashley. I got the all you can eat shrimp, and everything was excellent. Definitely recommend, and will be back.

This is a great stop. Small single boat dock.
9/10 New England clam chowder. No overnight on the dock. I love the food. Fair prices. Beer!

A terrific waterside seafood restaurant! I had the Tuesday special: fish and shrimp with chowder and coleslaw and fries for sides. Both the fish and shrimp were perfectly fried, lightly battered and not a bit greasy. The chowder isn't to be missed either.

Recommended by facebook Cape Cavaveral page. I wouldn't have ever find this gem, good prices and excellent food, great location, went during the week around 2:30 pm and was busy. Will be back after the snowbirds fly.

You can't beat the location and view of this little hidden gem, but on top of that the food was awesome!! It was good, cheap, and a lot! We don't find that anywhere anymore! Staff was also very kind and friendly! (Full liquor also 😃)

The food was delicious and the variety was appealing. I had the all you could eat shrimp. I dined with 3 others and we all enjoyed our meals. The waitress was friendly and very accommodating. We waited 30 minutes to be seated but well worth the wait. Thank you for an enjoyable meal. 😀

Always enjoy having a nice seafood lunch on the deck while taking in the intercoastal scenery. Great smoked fish dip starter (1/2 portion was ample for wife & I) then shared a platter with grilled shrimp, scallops, oysters, deviled crab & fish that was extremely tasty! Sides of black eyed peas and greens accompanied very nicely. Their Florida chowder is a nice tomato based soup that my wife prefers while I basically inhaled their thick, delicious clam chowder. I could eat a gallon of that wonderful creation.

It's a must visit restaurant that won't disappoint. Don't be discouraged if there is a wait... it will be worth it!

Great location on the water. Food was awesome. Sercice was great, and serving sizes were way more than enough.

We started with the alligator tail appetizer. Highly recommend. Well season and served with a great sauce. I had the choose two with cod and shrimp. It came with hush puppies and a cup of fish chowder, as well as sides of fries and slaw. Everything was really great. The chowder was a nice surprise.

My son had the frog legs, with fries and onion rings. For a first time frog legs, he said they were pretty good. My dad had the choose two with the mullet as well as shrimp and grits. He said the shrimp and grits were awesome, and also enjoyed the mullet.

All in all, would definitely return. There are a lot of options, and even items for those who don't like seafood

Highly recommend the gator tacos! The waitress was very sweet and attentive and the food was fantastic. It was raining but there was a covered back deck so we could still sit outside and look over the river. I tried frog legs for the first time and they were very tender.

Literally our favorite place to eat any time we visit Oak Hill! Food is always delicious 😋 best hush puppies too. This is gator with cheese grits and greens. Hubby got shrimp with beans. We've tried quite a few dishes and enjoyed every one! (We always order seafood) They do get very busy, so make sure you get there at a decent time. Parking situation isn't the best.

I come here every once in a while usually on my motorcycle, The restaurant itself is unique and has a cozy atmosphere. The food is always quick and delicious and the staff is always very nice. If you sit in the back outside, you can sit right above the river and listen to the calm water move beneath you while you eat.

There was a wait to get seated. But was worth it. The food was delicious and portion size very good. The blackened mahi was perfectly prepared. Clam chowder very good and clam strips very tender. The Cajun corn bisque, very good

The key lime pie is also really good you can tell it’s homemade
