The view from the river front sites was amazing; waking up to dolphins and seagulls was beautiful. Site 34. We also saw several manatees from the dock. Our boys enjoyed renting a fishing pole the first day, then decided to buy one for the rest of the week. They really enjoyed casting from several places around the campground. The staff were excellent, warm and welcoming. Very nice, clean, well maintained campground in a area close to many activities/attractions!

This was our second winter at Indian Mound Fish Camp. We have already reserved next winter! It is a great spot. The campground is relatively small and located on the Intracoastal Waterway. Our spot backed up to the water and we had endless views of dolphins, manatees, birds, and boats of ALL sizes.
The campground is very clean and quiet. The owners are super nice. Amenities include a store and bait shop, laundry room, boat ramp, fishing dock, boat slips and a tiki bar with occasional food trucks and live music.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our RV site backed right up to the water. We had beautiful views. We saw lots of dolphins and manatees, got to fish, and drove down to Kennedy Space Center to spend a day. It’s very kid-friendly. Full hook-ups, fire pit, and picnic tables included. Employees are helpful and friendly, too.

We stayed in the Captains Quarters! It was spacious and clean. We enjoyed being close to the water and waking up and being able to go on our kayaks! We saw manatee and dolphin. The staff was great, very welcoming and helpful.

We just completed a 4-night stay in our camper over the New Year's holiday. We stayed in site 10, which was perfect for us. The campground was full, and the sites were a bit close to each other, but everyone was friendly and considerate. We brough our two pups, there is plenty of green space for walking them. There were small docks on the canal side and a large fishing pier on the riverside. The baitshop had lots to offer in terms of snacks, hats, live bait, soft plastics, and beverages. It was very peaceful, lots of stars in the night sky. We even caught a rocket launch! Our son enjoyed his time fishing and shrimping.

We camped on the river side with our young kids. We bought some live bait from the bait shop and fished right off the back of our site. I caught my first snook and it was quite impressive to say the least! The dolphins and manatees are plentiful and put on quite the show! Booking process was easy and staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We're already talking about a next time!

We recently bought property on a canal and after settlement we were informed the former tenant left the place a mess. On short notice we booked a week at the Redfish Cabin (needed a pet friendly rental) so we could go work on cleaning up the property. We found the cabin to be neat and tidy - it even smelled clean when you walked inside which was welcomed after working all day dealing with the mess at the property. The view is priceless - the beds are super comfy and they even provide towels and linens. We will be back! We have much more work to do and found the conveniences at Indian Mound Campground superb!

We booked the Manatee Manor cabin to spend the holiday weekend with our friends who have brought their camper here many times before. The cabin was cute and clean, and the perfect fit for our family of 4! The location is perfect for all the boating and fishing we wanted to do. The staff was super friendly and helpful and we will definitely be coming back again!

Amazing for a first time fishing camp experience. The hosts were inviting, fun and knowledgeable. The cabin and campgrounds itself gave us memories of a lifetime.

Check in with Kim was flawless.
All interactions with staff, Rachael, Jamie and Kim were extremely pleasant. Neil was on top of everything. Power was out first night, Kelly texted us promptly that FP&L was addressing. Neil ensured power was restored and the site was secure.
The store and bait shop is amazing, very well stocked with quality current gear and supplies. We went up street to find a part for boat but ended up coming back to IMFC store and bought for half of what hardware store wanted. Cabin was nice, all amenities covered. Boat ramp, docks and pier are well maintained. On site laundry plus restroom, fish cleaning stations all above and beyond what we expected.
Excellent location highly recommend if you’re looking for an area that is on the water in close proximity to good fishing. Thanks Neil and staff for an amazing stay, looking forward to our next trip. Ed & Sean N.

Awesome place to camp. Clean and quiet. The dock was awesome and like others, we saw manatees and dolphins everyday. We paddled around the river and the mangroves nearby and saw more wildlife (stingrays, puffer fish, horseshoe crabs, hermit crabs). Great place to fish, boat and paddle. We visited Kennedy Space Center and New Smyrna Beach from this spot which both were easy short drives. Neighbors were friendly and so were the ladies in the shop on site. Will definitely be back and stay river front (worth the extra money to stay where you can see the animals from your camper).

My wife and I have brought our camper and boat to IMF a few times in the past. This weekend we brought our boat and stayed in one of the cabins. This is a great place to stay, particularly if you have a boat and don't want to fight the crowds at the boat ramps. Just put your boat in at thier private boat ramp, boat all day, then at the end of the day tie up at one of their cove protected docks and go enjoy dinner and a cocktail at your campsite, or in one of their nice little cabins. The cabins very clean and reasonably priced. We highly recommend it.

My husband our dog and I stayed in one of the cabins for 7 nights and we loved it. Had a great time! It was inexpensive and clean. The people are wonderful and help out in any way they can. My husband caught tons of fish and we saw dolphins and manatees while we were there. They even had entertainment on Saturday night. This is the 2nd time we stayed there and will go back again in the future I am sure!

Great campsite with full hookups to spend the weekend with the family fishing and enjoying the great views of the Indian River. We caught all types of fish including pompano, puffer fish, whiting, stingrays, catfish and many others. We even caught an eel. We saw manatees and dolphins swimming around in the river. They have a great dock to fish off of and they offer kayak rentals. There is also a boat ramp if you wanted to bring your boat and go in the river. They have a bait store and also offer food, refreshments and lots of fishing gear. Great friendly staff and we will definitely be back for another camping trip in the future.

I stayed at the Salty Air cabin for a week., while visiting family were in their RV. The cabin itself was clean.
Everything you could possibly need was there. The AC unit kept the place at a really comfortable temperature, and the fan on the other side of cabin really helped for a good night's sleep.
The folks who work at Indian Mound Fish Camp are all extremely friendly and thoughtful.
The outside setting itself is beautiful. Loved seeing the dolphins playing, or watching my Stepmother catch catfish.
I truly enjoyed my time, and can say that these people are in the business of creating great family memories
