Pisces Rising

Cheyenne was our server for my sisters 16th birthday, (leap day 2/29). She was quick and efficient immediately. She was extremely sweet and made our first experience there a wonderful one.

I recently visited Pisces Rising and once again had a delightful experience. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere immediately welcomed me, creating a warm and inviting dining environment. The exquisite cuisine and drinks surpassed my expectations, offering a delightful blend of flavors that left my taste buds thoroughly satisfied.

The friendly service added to the overall positive experience, with attentive staff members who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance both inside and outside the restaurant was enchanting, complemented by captivating views of the lake. It truly felt like time well spent, making Pisces Rising a memorable dining destination or a stop in for drinks out in the patio during sunset.

Best dinner I’ve had in such a long time, I don’t usually bother to write reviews. Every bite was YUM. The waitress went out of her way to actually ask me if I was allergic to anything before bringing me a cute complimentary birthday dessert! Thank you wow because I am deathly allergic to tree nuts and many restaurants are neglectful of the dangers of food allergies. Nice view of the water as well.

What a wonderful relaxing place to enjoy a delicious meal and don't forget an amazing dessert ! Had gluten free version of the turkey sandwich it was awesome. Also shared with my friend a delicious creme burlee cheese cake and banana foster, absolutely delicious!!

I hosted my bridal shower at Pisces Rising in their private dining room. We worked with Samantha Galloway to create a tailored menu and had about 20 people. It was a lovely event, the private space is key, you can bring your own decor and although it's on the 2nd level, there is an ADA elevator my grandma was able to use instead of going up stairs. My husband and I are both Pisces and love to be out on the water, this location was perfect. My mother in law did a fish theme with live gold fish as centerpieces. We were able to park in the back to load in/out decor which was key but guests must park elsewhere. Overall, we were very happy and would come back again for any private event. Had such great service, meal and atmosphere so we brought friends back and they loved it too! First impressions were from Sonya who made us feel like family and not like a visitor, she was so friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was Jessica who also was so friendly and made great suggestions from the menu! Jessica checked on us several times ensuring all our needs were met. I have to give a shout out to the chef who plated my smoked chicken sandwich so beautifully (I requested no bun). Food was delicious my hubby had the Brisket on a biscuit. Friends had peeled shrimp with a salad and her hubby had some type of seafood that he loved but I can't remember what it was. This will continue to be one of our favorite places.

All praise for this place! Steak was great, not too cooked not too raw- this is very subjective opinion keep that in mind. Salmon stuffed with crab is absolutely delicious- first time trying and I enjoyed every bite! Service-impeccable, friendly and professional! Drinks are also great not gonna lie.

Absolutely great food! We had the Ribeye, Crab-stuffed salmon and Paradise Burger. Cooked to point, excellent meat. Attentive service!

My husband and I had our wedding dinner in the private room. They were amazing the whole night with setup and service! It was the most perfect night.

Pieces catered our wedding, and let me just say, it was superb!!! Chris who helped plan and execute everything was so great, he is just an overall amazing person and wonderful at his job. The FOOD was amazing all our guests raved about the food, which from initial tasting we were blown away. Thanks Chris and Pieces Rising for an amazing wedding !!

Have been wanting to go to Pisces Rising restaurant in Mt Dora for years and finally went there to dine and celebrate my 67th birthday! Had an absolutely FABULOUS dinner of Crab Stuffed Salmon and too topped it off with a wonderful slice of delicious cheesecake with mixed berries! Atmosphere at the restaurant was lively, fun and upbeat with an amazing sunset view enjoyed while seated on the outdoor deck for dining. The view of the lake by the yacht club only served to enhance the overall experience as an added bonus! A personal Thank You also to our Server Jackie who helped to make my birthday experience there extraordinarily terrific with her charming personality and outstanding Customer Service as a Server. Additionally, the entire positive experience began with the warm greeting by the Hostess, Sonia, who was also very welcoming and exceptionally hospitable as well. Great food, great atmosphere and more in a relaxed environment! Diners having the choice of a quieter indoor dining atmosphere or outdoor upbeat atmosphere is also a definite plus. An all around FANTASTIC dining experience I will surely be back for more!

Terrific brunch with nice variety of choices. Went with brisket poutine (wish it had a bit more gravy) the beef was perfectly tender the fries nice n crispy, laid on bed of grits nice southern styled touch. The crab stuffed salmon was also delicious flaky and full of flavor. Lastly a piece of death by chocolate - raspberry chocolate layered cake. Definitely one of thee best desserts I’ve ever eaten. Don’t skip past it.

There’s a shady courtyard by the bar entrance and some spacious lake view seating on the outside deck. Nice friendly service and very clean facilities too!

A wonderful experience, pleasant environment, delicious food- loved the cheesecake dessert! Our waitress, Cheyenne, was fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive to our needs! I recommend dining at Pisces Rising!

We used Pisces Rising for our wedding and we could not be happier with them. We had so much fun during the tasting process and collaborating with them on our food selections. Mary Catherine was always available to answer our questions and make changes as needed.
The dinner service during our wedding went on without a hitch and multiple guests commented about how good our food was.
We'd recommend them for any catering needs.

Went there for a Westinghouse rehearsal dinner. Food and service was excellent. Cocktails were made very well. Great atmosphere and location on the lake.

This was a great restaurant. Food was good, drinks were good, and the service was good. I got a burger and my wife got the stuffed Salmon. We got the Cuban eggrolls as an appetizer and i washed it all down with a couple of beers. Careful on the mixed drink prices if you have a budget they are not listed andare kind of pricey...however they are fantastic if you are into craft drinks.

If you love brunch and are looking for a great place to grab a bite and maybe check out some cool local shops. Then you have to check out Pisces Rising in the beautiful town of Mount Dora. They have great food and amazing atmosphere! We tried their oysters, salads, sandwiches and wraps and all was delicious!
