I live in New York and if I didn’t have a disdain for Florida, I would have my body transported to HQ when my time comes. I’m gonna look into if they have an affiliate in NY and arrange everything with them; that’s how good this funeral home is.

My father passed on 12/26/23 and once they received his body, I got on the phone with Mike the next morning and we discussed a plethora of things. Mike is very professional, sympathetic and caring. He does his job very well. With my father dying in Florida, I thought things would be cheaper than the costs of funerals in New York. As I was trying to figure out what can be more cost effective, I sent Mike a list of options my father’s family and I were considering; they included the standard funeral: wake, mass and burial but we went with a private family moment and cremation; which was much more cost effective, given my father didn’t have much money. When I sent Mike the list of options we were considering, he got right back to me with prices; at 2 a.m. I admired him doing that. Mind you, I was planning this funeral from NY, which I might also add, Mike made it smooth. Planning was very smooth. The day of the private family moment came and my father’s family showed up early but Mike didn’t let them into the room until I showed up, which I appreciated a lot, given I was the one who paid for it. It was scheduled from 10-1030 and I arrived at 940 but we were able to go in still and leave at 1030. I was shocked at how nice the room my father was in looked. It looked like a hotel conference room. It had round tables and such. Funeral homes in NY don’t look this good. Mike didn’t hassle us to leave but I was hassling everybody because I didn’t want to take advantage or overstep. Before though, Mike gave us all bottles of water which goes to show how hospitable he is. The day next day at around 9 a.m., not even 24 hours later(more like 23 hours later) , I got the call my fathers cremations were ready. I was shocked at how quick they were ready. I thought I was gonna get the call late in the afternoon but I got it pretty early.

All in all, I’ll never forget my experience with HQ and how well I was treated. This is the funeral home to go to when a loved one passes.

My experience with Howard Quattlebaum in North Palm Beach for exceeded my expectations. They had handled my mothers arrangements years back and we were very happy with their service but when I recently lost my husband, I was in a very bad place emotionally they seemed to understand and went so far above, and beyond all my expectations to make my husband‘s memorial, so respectful and so beautiful For me for my friends and family and especially for my husband and I would highly recommend them .

My family is very appreciative for all aspects regarding the passing of my father. From the initial contact when he passed away at home and they were dispatched to transport him to the funeral home he was treated with dignity.
The funeral director was vey kind and respectful. Any questions that arose were replied to immediately.
His service was done with grace and dignity along with an Honor Guard ceremony.
Forever grateful!

Susan Wilson did a wonderful job of guiding us through the event no one wants to ever face. She was kind, compassionate and yet, somehow, kept us all on track! The facilities are beautiful and her suggestion for doing a luncheon after the funeral was perfect! Know that you will be well-cared-for at Howard-Quattlebaum and that all the details will be perfectly executed. Thanks!

Quattlebaum provided my family with first class presidential services for my dads funeral. They were courteous, respectful, understanding and caring from start to finish. As we were too weak to walk, they were the shoulders we leaned on. It brings great joy to meet such an incredible team. Ralph Wilson provided me with words of encouragement that will live with me forever. Tiffany, Sam, Zoe and to the entire Quattlebaum team on behalf of myself and my family, thank you. You all did an amazing job with my fathers funeral service. Thank you.

I appreciate all the staff. There experience, sensitivity, and understanding made the entire process as easy as could be expected.
They "got" that I was fulfilling my mother's wishes for a "simple goodbye".

I cannot express enough how absolutely wonderful Howard Quattlebaum Funeral Home has been during this most difficult time for my family. From the moment we contacted them on the day my father passed, they have gone above and beyond. Susan, especially, has been exceptional. She made sure that my father’s Celebration of Life was everything he would’ve wanted and more. No detail was spared. Even weeks after the funeral, Susan has still been a continuous support. She has managed to make such a sad time in our lives an enjoyable experience. I cannot recommend Quattlebaum enough.

After my mother passed suddenly I wanted to take as much of the responsibility from my father and make the visit to Quattlebaum as short as possible for my father’s sake. They quickly sent me most of the paperwork to fill out via Docusign so the visit was quick and easy. They also stayed in close contact with me during the whole process and Helped make the tough decisions a little easier. I was very pleased and would wholeheartedly recommend there services.

Kim Licata is truly one of the most compassionate and empathetic funeral directors. Losing my father was one of the most difficult things I've gone through and Kim made the funeral process and everything involved so easy for myself and my family. And today again I saw her at a family friend's funeral, escorting the wife and making sure everything was perfect. Thank you Kim for doing what you do, it really makes a difference in tough times.

I can honestly not say enough good things about Haward-Quattlebaum. They met me at the worst time of my life and were supportive, thorough, and always available. They were able to explain everything too me and even helped organize the military honors for my dad's service.

I will start by saying that HQ Funeral Home will be the only place I will ever use to "lay to rest" my loved ones. Susan (Funeral Director) was the most helpful, accommodating and humble person I have had the pleasure to work with for such a sad event. Working with Susan and the HQ Team made what was a painful and heartbreaking time peaceful and smooth. THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM of my heart. You are hero's during this pandemic.

They made a difficult time very comfortable and pleasant. Everyone was there to help in every way. Kim Licata went above and beyond to be by my side at all times. She is an asset to your company . Everyone even Mr.Howard and Mr. Quattlebaum were there to say goodbye to a former employee. My husband Herbert J Young would have been proud that everyone respected and appreciated his time with SCI.

I have to admit I was a little bit nervous because who wants to plan their own funeral arrangements but they were very nice to me and helped me a lot in planning what needs to be done. I'm very thankful and very happy with the service they are providing. I highly recommend them. 😃👍
