Undertow Beach Bar

We found this beauty on a Google search so drove the one and a half hours to get to it.
We had no idea we couldn’t park there so parked up the road.
Upon arriving, we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by Cara.
She is the daughter of the owner and they built the bar many years ago.
It’s the coolest bar. Full of character and water running through the counter!
You can play games or sit outside on the most BEAUTIFUL beach in the world and watch the dolphins in the water, followed by a breath taking sunset.
They have another bar next to it which is an outside beach bar.
We had a day on the beach and loved it so much, we booked 3 local suites and stayed the night.
We were back at the bar today and the staff were equally as attentive.

The bar doesn’t serve food but they are happy for you to order in and eat there.

Thank you so much for making a travelling family from the UK feel so welcome.

Some of the best views on St Pete Beach. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. No parking at all.

Location is the first thing to love about the Undertow Beach Bar. Two separate bars to choose from serving up great cocktails. Very limited food menu...like snacks. Plenty of T.V's to catch all the games on. Rubber ducks float on a stream of running water carved into the bar. This is something everyone remembers. Cheers 🍹🍸🍷🍺

Been coming here since 2004. Always a great atmosphere, fair pricing and good times. Like any other business, it has had it's ups and downs, but overall a very chill spot to have drinks and enjoy the beach atmosphere. Yes, some rules are in place, but very accomodating! Come check it out!

No parking so you should walk or get an Uber, but it didn't deter us, it was such a cute and fun bar right on the beach! The bartenders were sweet, and made a mean strawberry daiquiri. Will return when we come back to st Pete!

I absolutely love this place! Always cold drinks, friendly smokes from the staff, and never any nonsense going on inside this establishment. It's a very good place to enjoy a couple of drinks with sunset.

Lindsey was the best! Very attentive & quick when I was ordering, out of this world customer service, very sweet attitude, I will absolutely be coming back because of her

"The Toe" is the best beach bar in St Pete Beach. Super chill crowd, great bartenders and great management. Thanks to everyone there for being so awesome! We love you! Tell them Wyman said "Hi" when you go. Also, the bartenders like a great "dad joke"

Great get away spot on the beach

Unsure about all the staff I felt a bit of animosity from some but Victoria made me feel extremely welcomed! Amazing service!

Fun place, nice staff, great drinks and snacks!! Thankfully we snagged a great table on the patio, stayed for over 7 hours!

I stopped in for a couple of drinks! This place is great! The have a duck race course built in the bar and the bartenders are very friendly and even perform acrobatics! You have to be in the club to park there( I am not.. so I took a ride share) but this keeps it calm and easy going! We watched the sunset from the roof top! This was my first time here but it won't be my last!

We got there after a huge storm so it was pretty empty. We grabbed a drink and caught a gorgeous sunset

Got to say this place has one of the best views during sunset. The big chairs outback make it comfortable so we could hang out and enjoy the nice fall weather and out drinks. The staff are super friendly, helpful and amazing.

This is one of the best kept secrets! Not sure what a membership is for parking but I would get one if I lived nearby. Reasonable drinks, on the beach, amazing! I love how imperfect the staff is yet how revealing their attire is!

Great place to watch a sunset! Awesome drinks but they didn’t have any food.

Food is extremely limited but you can order from anywhere so don’t let that hold you back bc this is probably the best beach bar on the West Coast of Florida. Service is always top notch and the sunsets are PERFECT.

We ordered drinks and they were spectacular! Not too strong nor weak! Super smooth and the atmosphere was very coastal and laid back. The breeze was refreshing and the games were entertaining. Would definitely stop again!

All friendly staff. Superb venue. Lots of televisions to see the sport. Beer pong tavle. Table tennis. 2 bars. Cool river theme on top of one bar (see my pics) Highly recommend!!

Right on the beach with both indoor and outdoor bars. Really great atmosphere, fun bar staff, and affordable prices.
