I love peanut island it’s a quick getaway for us that live here . $18 for adults round trip on a ferry . No alcohol is allowed at all but you can bring your own food , water , juice you can use the grills ( first come first serve ) bring your own beach chairs etc . You can snorkel here, jet ski & other things as well .

Peanut Island is an easy vacation at home destination. It's perfect for all age groups. For those on land, you can take the ferry across and enjoy the ocean from the sand. For those arriving on boat, the sandbar is the place to go. Drop your anchor and jump in!

Snorkeling Heaven- one of the best kept secrets of Florida beaches! Campground is clean, hot showers, and Rosa in reservations is kind, friendly, accommodating and hospitable - she is the bomb! Went snook fishing at night, and snorkeling by day! Made new friends- what a blessing!

Peanut island is a dreamy place to go with your family. Dogs are allowed on a leash. You can take food and drinks, bit alcoholic beverages are not allowed. You can also stay over the night in the camping area.

This place it is so beautiful! You can camp there and go snorkeling at the beach. Highly recommended! Only way to get here is the ferry will take you to the island. Maker sure to bring drinks and food as there’s no shops in there. John F Kenny bunker is also there but not open to the public. You can walk the whole island!Perfect place to visit for those who haven’t been there! Highly recommend!

Don't think about it....just go! I discovered this hidden gem a couple of years ago. We were unprepared on our first visit so a couple of tips. Take food! Lol There is no where to buy food on the island. You can (and should) easily spend a day there so take food! Get to the ferry early. The island fills up quickly. In order to get a good spot (although there are no bad spots) so let's say a preferred spot, you should get to the ferry when they open. Bring snorkeling gear. ...you won't be disappointed. Try going on a week day if possible to avoid crowds. No alcohol allowed. It's such a beautiful place. There are plenty of restrooms and there are grilling areas. Enjoy!!

It is such a gorgeous place! A lot of activities available that you can try out. Clean and clear water, truly amazing! Can't wait to enjoy and have a lot of family moments with this amazing Peanut Island.

The closest thing you’re going to get on the mainland of United States of America to a Caribbean island experience. Beautifully landscaped, palm trees and tropical, horticulture, Water is crystal, clear, calm, shallow to deep, great for swimming and snorkeling. This truly is a hidden gem in the Palm Beaches. You have to take a shuttle over to the island. There is a campground on the island and bathrooms.The best time to go is during high tide or around that time. That’s when the crystal clear water is at its finest.

Peanut Island I just what many people say, great great great beach, super clean, well maintained, clear water, public bathrooms, grills… is amazing. Make sure you get your snorkel because there are many fish around.

We love this beautiful beach (island)!
This is not another beach, to get to this island you have to take a small ferry (boat) that will sail for about 10 minutes to reach the island’s deck.
It’s really very close to shore but you can only access the place by boat ;there is no bridge or street.
The boat trip is very nice and you kids will love it; the beach is beautiful, white sands, and they have an couple of internal “salty pools” or small beaches that are amazing.
You might have the opportunity to spot manatees or dolphins (it happened to us)

It's an awesome get away, be it with your family or your significant other, the ferry ride is a nice trip, the island is beautiful and clean, you can see nice houses and boats from afar, there are many things available to rent such as snorkeling, jet skis, paddleboard, kayaks and so forth. No food vendors available on the island, so make sure to take some food, you can also opt to barbecue.

Overall it's a great place for a get away.

Love that they inform you to park your vehicle in a safe area if you camp on the island. The staff were pleasant, accommodating and helpful. Smooth process flow, clear instructions and good location for dropping off equipment. We had tons of stuff but the staff were willing to help and gave us postitive vibes. They were so willing to help carrying your stuff. The Island was like a dream, it was small but was a great spot for camping. Clean campgrounds, clean shower and restrooms. Quiet nights are the best. Great paddle areas, fishing areas and walkways. I would go back in a heartbeat. Family and pet friendly

Great park for a day visit. The park was a lot more built up then I anticipated. The path that encircles the island is paved and is great for walking. Along the path there are picnic tables and charcoal pits for grilling. Great scenery and views of the intercostal and piers. The beaches are great for lounging and watching the boats come and go.

The water here is crystal clear, and there is a designated area where you can snorkel. Especially if you are a beginner.

The cool thing about Peanut Island is the many areas to explore, swim, and fish. There are plenty of picnic tables and grills for a family fun day. In the future, they also plan to restore the bunker built for former President John F. Kennedy in the 1960s that is located on the island.

The island itself is free to be in during the day. If you want to camp there and stay overnight, there is a charge. You will also need to pay for a ferry if you don’t own a boat to reach the island. The ferry cost is $16 per person

I loved it there and do plan to return because I enjoy snorkeling. Still can’t believe it took this long to visit this little island.

Shh, let’s keep this a secret! Crystal blue water next to West Palm Beach. I’m sure the locals know and love this place because the beach was filled with boats. This island requires a boat or short furry ride. Get there early if you plan to use the grills or tables because it was full by 11 am. There’s so much do too and see on the island that I’ll need to return soon. And please wear Sun screen, it’s no joke! I love this place! I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Just don’t tell to many people, let’s make it our secret. 🤫

Beautiful but WINDY! On a normal day like today the waters would have been a pool blue. The wind was going all day long from around 12 till 6 pm when we actually decided to leave because we felt cold. Can you imagine Florida mid May feeling cold in 80 degree weather. The wind However peanut island was beautiful as always worth visiting. Locals or non. Well worth it take the water taxi make a day of it.

Peanut island is a mist visit place. We had the opportunity of camping and everything was great. The camping area is restricted to campers only with bathroom and showers. Also each tent area has its own grill. Views are amazing, if you get the chance for only $30 you can camp the night!

Great place to spend day. Suggest getting there early to secure place to dock boat. Bathrooms on island are clean and maintained. Crowded for sure as day goes on. Glad we didn't have to take ferry but can see how great of an option that is for people.
