Hurricane Seafood Restaurant

This was a delicious meal, right next to the beach! Very generous with their lobster/seafood. Grouper pass a grille and lobster roll were amazing. Lobster claw appetizer was also amazing. Servers were very sweet!!

What a great place. Stopped in just for lunch and had the best lunch I had all week, no all month. I had a grouper reuben sandwich with onion rings. It was amazing. The restaurant is across the street from a nice little beach park and the ocean was gorgeous. Great place to plan to come back to.

The pasta primavera was alright, the Alfredo sauce needed more flavor but the garlic bread, the fried shrimp and scallops were delicious. The patty melt was delicious and the onion rings were also delicious. The service and atmosphere were great. I recommend this restaurant and I will be back. 👌

Great experience, has a nice topside bar that serves food until 6pm. Downstairs offer both inside and outside dinning. Views of the beach are some of the best you'll have

Very much enjoyed the food here. Grouper sandwich was spot on, calamari rings and boom-boom shrimps as well.
I love that the beer comes in a very cold glass too.

What a wonderfully authentic place. The waitress was as inspired as the food was tasty. Highly recommended and so worth the drive/walk! Don't forget to ask for the house made key lime pie -- one of the best deserts I was able to taste in a loooong time. Highly recommended! (Both pie and restaurant!)

Our party of four was seated quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Our server was friendly and made great suggestions. She took excellent care of our group. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked to our order. The atmosphere was fun, and the views from the roof top were amazing!

A spectacular landmark restaurant with a wide range of selective seating from the fancy indoors to the fun rooftop, the intimate corner to the crowd mixer. We sat at the sidewalk seats to people watch while enjoying the nice weather and beautiful sunset. The server was excellent, and the food was good.

This is THE spot for a snack and a cocktail on the roof for the best sunset views anywhere on St Pete Beach! The service is so fast and friendly that they even paused the sunset temporarily while they served me my refill so I didn't miss the grand finale lol top tier

Nice venue on the beach. Food was pretty good. We were there for a wedding reception.

The only negative thing I have to talk about was the wait, but it is understandable with the amount of staff that was there yesterday. We were very pleased with our server and how interactive the entire was with us, despite how busy they were. The food was incredible! We ordered Gator bites and the sunshine salad for appetizers, and we shared the seafood platter with asparagus. Our babies both finished all their dinner too(chicken tenders and hot dog) , which is rare! We will absolutely be back! Thank you, Hurricane, for making our dinner unforgettable!

Fantastic beachside place to grab lunch and some brews!

We stopped here on a recent visit to Pass-a-grill and decided to check it out. This was a fantastic decision as the atmosphere, food, and service were all fantastic. I was able to get a fresh 1/2 grouper sandwich and two Mango Cart beers for less than what I paid for just a grouper sandwich at a similar restaurant further up the coast.

We sat outside and enjoyed a very relaxed lunch. The vibe was uber-casual. The grouper was excellently prepared-- blackened is most definitely the way to go. Our server was terrific both with recommendations as well as with making certain that I always had a full glass of beer.

HIGHLY recommended if you're looking for laid back seaside dining.

I had a steak and fries at a seafood place expecting the worst. However the steak and fries were really good. My wife had a crabcake meld and said she loved it. The only complaint I have is my wife and I are older and we were sat at pick nick tables with no back rests.

Rooftop bar is the only place to be at Sunset. Perfect. Male bartender, didn't see his name, deserves a huge raise. He is friendly and great.

The crab cakes!!! Hands down best we’ve ever had!! Blue crab tots ow my gosh these were so good! The Lobster Bisque again the best iv had! Service was great! Even the owner took a lot of time to tell us about the restaurant, menu, and even told some jokes to entertain our kids! This is a must if you are in the St Pete beach area! Then go across the street take a swim and find awesome shells!

Took in a Hurricane Restaurant rooftop sunset & refreshments with my cousin from Ohio recently. Great views & Gulf breezes.
The great beach across from the restaurant is also a must visit.

Nice place right across from the beach!. We both had bowls. Jasmine Rice, mixed vegetables, and fried fresh Grouper! Absolutely delicious! My friend had the Jasmine Rice, streamed broccoli and grilled children. She said it was delicious!

Our service was great, the waitress was fun and exciting. The food was excellent, great portions and taste was perfect! Would recommend

Update: Another amazing meal at this restaurant! I wish I could write another review but I could only update my previous one. Our server was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and I still feel like the prices are reasonable. I had the Grouper Paradise which comes with a crab cake on top and it was outstanding. I’m not even much of a crab cake person but this one was definitely homemade with lots of crab and not much filler.

Our first time & we will definitely be back! Just came over from Tampa because we wanted to try somewhere different that we could go with our dog. Our server was great and food was delicious! I had one of their bowls with scallops and my boyfriend had grouper topped with a crab cake & shrimp. I also thought the prices were good for the quality & amount of food you get.
