Publix Pharmacy at Alton Town Center

Impressive experience - I am writing this review to focus on two specifics factors: Cost and Patient experience. I grocery shop there all the time and decided out of curiosity to compare their costs for three scripts I was having filled at Walmart. I was ASTONISHED by how much I had been overpaying. In EVERY instance, they beat Walmart and not just subtly. One specific ex. involved me paying $293 at Walmart and only $41 at Publix. In discussing the rx costs the Pharmacist then educated me on other ways I could reduce my costs even further that I didn't even know existed. Unprompted, she identified ways to reduce my costs. When was the last time you had that experience at a pharmacy?! Second, the experience. I already eluded to partially in what I said above. Beyond that, they are patient and kind and just seem to embrace good, old fashion common courtesy. It is refreshing and fully embraced. This pharmacy is Publix's best kept secret. But for those of us who have rx needs, check them out and see if they can help you the way they helped me.
