Plaza Beach Hotel - Beachfront Resort

I would like to leave my opinion about the property and my staying there. First of all, the facility is not new but it is maintained, the pool is small but clean and I liked the chess game and other entertainment they have on one side of the property. Access to the beach is very easy. Accessible parking lots too. I want to say that we had a mishap because our daughter vomited in the bed and the cleaning lady was very kind with our request to change the sheet. She was very attentive, as well as the girl from the front desk, Anna, coincidentally her name is like my daughter. The girl is very kind and she clears up any doubts or concerns you may have. The room we rented was clean and cozy, but the only thing I didn't like very much was the refrigerator. It's a little old and didn't cool much. I travel with my little daughter and I bring her food. For me, the place where food is stored is important. It was the only thing I didn't like very much about the room. But I recommend the place, and I would stay again.

Small but mighty! Our stay was great. A well maintained old Florida hotel that offered as much and more than some larger counterparts. Beautiful pool, easy walkout to the beach, tiki bar, outside activities for kids and adults. The room was dated but very clean and comfortable. The only reason I gave 4 instead of five stars for the room was the bathroom was really tight. That being said, I’m looking at dates to book our next stay!

The absolute best staff of any hotel I’ve stayed at! From the front desk staff to the cleaning staff, I only have wonderful things to say!
Was so convenient having the little kitchen in our room, especially traveling with a baby and toddler. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, water pressure was perfect, free coffee in the lobby every morning, free beer and wine from 4-5pm, tons of activities for adults and kids, and easy access to the beach!
I truly can’t wait to come back!

Upon arrival the staff was kind and very helpful. They actually text you so if you have any questions you can text the front desk for assistance. Tyrell and Anna were great. I didn't catch the name of the gentleman who checked us out, but he was great too. Our room was larger and nicer than expected. The property has a lot of fun activities as well as plenty of tables, chairs, and shade. You walk from your room to the pool and activity area then right onto the sand and the view is beautiful. You're also within a very short walking distance to convenience stores and food. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our time here! The hotel staff was accommodating and extremely nice/ helpful when booking via the phone. I called a few places and after speaking to the staff I didn’t even hesitate to book a last minute getaway trip with my newborn and husband. (I am glad I did & we liked it so much that my in-laws came to visit us and booked a room at 9pm that night because they didn’t want to leave) The location is perfectly located on the beach & is a very family friendly hotel. Plus there’s free beer and wine for happy hour, so that’s always a plus after a long day in the sun! There was live music the day we arrived as well and it was nice. Also, there is a tiki bar on site with some great drinks! Thank you for accommodating us. We will be back!

This was a phenomenal experience and was only made better by the extraordinary customer service that was given to us! Everyone who worked with us was so friendly and helpful! Alexis was especially helpful and friendly on many occasions, and just had a powerful positive energy about her that was just the cherry, whip cream, and the sprinkles on top of our ice cream vacation! Beautiful room, great staff, breathtaking views, fun amenities, FREE BEER AND WINE, and of course a gorgeous ocean, all helped make this experience absolutely stellar! Thank you all for an AMAZING vacation!

Loved our stay here. The location is perfect, right on the beach. All of the staff were friendly. The hotel had a lot of amenities that the kids enjoyed including the ping pong table and toys by the beach. The pool was clean and heated. The bar had good drinks and music. Room had everything we needed including kitchen area with dishes. We will definitely be back.

The staff was super friendly upon check in. Our room was clean and cute! Plenty of great amenties like full fridge, kitchenette with electric range top and microwave. Free lounge chairs by the volleyball nets. Rentable chairs and cabanas right out front for only $30 for the day till either 4pm or 5pm depending on the day. Will definitely be coming back!

Great retro style Florida hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Great amenities and activities for the whole family. Easy beach access at the back of the hotel. We will definitely return next time we're in town.

Had a great stay at Bay Palms Waterfront! My daughters and I loved having so many options of things to do at the 3 locations (all close together), and it is an easy walk to great restaurants, grocery store and Walgreens. Every single person who works there is so friendly and helpful. So many nice personal touches, and the text communications were a nice way to get quick and helpful responses and truly made us feel so welcome there. And the decor/vibe is so much fun! Highly recommend!

Plaza Beach Resorts: The Guest Service team members were exceptional. All amenities were free...including parking! Our room was freshly renovated, quaint and beautiful, and super clean. We loved sitting on our balcony enjoying morning coffee and watching the sights. Both pools were clean and the water crystal clear. The beach at this hotel was kept clean. The sand was white and soft. We loved every minute of our stay. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in St. Petersburgh. Well done!

Absolutely best place to stay! We had an amazing, relaxing time. Staff was the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever had. Rooms were great, beautiful side view of the pool area and the ocean. Pool area was perfect, water was warm and so clean. Beach was gorgeous and easily accessible. The manager of the hotel was always around, walking around, helping everyone. I can’t wait to go again. Thank you for a wonderful time!!

I wish I had taken photos to share but we were having so much fun at this resort I never picked up my phone. I chose this resort for a one night stay as I was taking my granddaughters on the North pole express in nearby Parrish. I didn't want to drive home that late at night. We arrived early on Saturday and our room was ready (thank you). I can not say enough good things about this resort. Clean rooms with so many thoughtful amenities. Loved the coffee mugs. The play area for children was perfect. All the games were so fun. A penny machine, Yay! We loved our courtyard room. I don't smoke but I was so pleased to see an abundance of ashtrays and smoking areas. We loved the staffs flamingo shirts! The access to sister resorts is awesome. I plan to return with the boat. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay an absolute dream.

Great spot on the beach. Resort has every kind of activity we needed- beach, pool, games, and complimentary happy hour! Our room was clean and just as pictured on their site. Bathroom was a bit tight but we made it work.

Super cute and nostalgic! The room was adorable and clean! Steps to the pool and shuffleboard and the beach of course! They have Adirondack chairs for you to sit and enjoy the sunset or sunrise! Eco friendly! They had coffee mugs in room that you can take to the lobby in the mornings for complimentary coffee! Will definitely be back!

This place is my favorite places to stay in St Pete Beach. Everything about it is great. It has a cool retro vibe in the lobby. A very reasonably priced beach bar. The hotel is Right on the beach with a nice pool. And the staff is super friendly and helpful. Yao and Cherish were great! Thanks for another amazing stay as always!

Location, staff, service, and cleanliness = EXCEPTIONAL! Can't beat Plaza Beachfront Hotel if you're looking for a simple, straight-forward, no frills stay right on St. Pete Beach. The Staff is knowledgeable, warm, and accommodating. Rooms are sparkling clean, spacious, and steps from the ocean, complete with full fridges, stove, kitchenware and utensils. Also a convenient 5-7 minute walk to Walgreens, CVS, Starbucks, Publix, bike rental shops and more! Downtown St. Pete is an appx. 20-25 min. drive. The only area I wish were different are how thin some of the walls are. (This may not be the case for all rooms.) For some, if there are raucous large groups, it may not make for serene evenings. Overall, an EXCELLENT, non-fussy stay for beach lovers.

Fantastic classic west Florida old school beach resort. Only a few of these gems left. The family that operates this does a fantastic job and all of the staff is very friendly and helpful. This was our third time visiting for a week and will be returning this summer 2024.
