Easternmost Point In Florida

Beautiful! Great beach you can rent chairs and boats.

A special spot near a wonderful stretch of beach. I was lucky enough to stay right next to this landmark well at the Ocean Pointe resort. Both of all sizes pass between the breakwater and the beach and through the deep water channel especially on the weekends and a small cruise ship comes in every morning. I’m still trying to determine what the structure located here at the base of the jetty is used for

You might see an incredible yacht, or a cruise ship, or just about any sort of vessel, EXCEPT a battleship. Great photo op when the breeze picks up because the waves crash dramatically against the rocks.

MAGNIFICENT SUNRISE 🌅 Fair warning, it is a treacherous walk to the very end! Although that walk really isn't necessary, it will be worth it to the adventurous and knowing that you are the first set of eyes on land to see the sunrise over this wonderful state at that moment, elicits a bucket list worthy feeling!! ❤

Peaceful private beach. We enjoy watching the surfers during the windy winter months. Take a stroll along the inlet at sunset. Breathtaking.

Very cool spot that offers great views and decent snorkeling. Watch the boats and ships go by while listening to the waves crash against the jetty. The pump house here moves sand from the North to the South of the inlet after it's construction interupted the natural flow of sand. The sunrises here are gorgeous and you might even catch a glimpse of a nesting sea turtle. Walk out to the end of the jetty to experience the furthest eastern point in Florida! There's no plaque so don't expect much fanfare. Overall this is a magical spot where you won't see a lot of tourists.

Very very nice park very clean lots of people fishing. I stop there every time I go to west plam beach. And i will be going back next year. Thanks for reading and looking at the pictures

Picture perfect! It was fun visiting this spot while on a trip nearby. I told my daughter that I was ar the easternmost point in Florida and she was able to see where I was on a map. Love the coconut trees!

Beautiful beach! In my humble opinion, this is one of the best kept secrets in South Florida, both for its beauty and for its uniqueness. Although this particular spot is not the easternmost point in Florida, this beach is. Just north of this beach, the coastline slopes northwest. South of this beach, the coastline slopes southwest. This particular spot is the farthest east you can physically walk (using the jetty). Being the easternmost beach in Florida, and the closest to the continental shelf, the water here is very clear, which makes it great for snorkeling. If you are in the area, you should also check out Blowing Rocks Beach just to the north, another very unique Florida beach 😊👍

Looked like there were lots of people fishing! Some said they caught a few barracudas. Great view of the port, and tons of crabs and other sea creatures latched onto the rocks up by the edge!

We drove down to Key West from West Palm Beach. We visited the Southernmost Point. It was very crowded and there was a long line to take a photo with this statue marker. The scene was beautiful but I must be honest...the beaches here in Key West were filled with decaying seaweed and the smell was like raw sewage. We visited 3 different area beaches and it was the same. We didn't stay very long and although people were in the water, we didn't get in.

I didn't know I was there when I was there! Just realized I have a bunch of photos of this spot. Too cool.

We stayed the Marriott's Ocean Pointe resort in July 2018, so access to the Easternmost Point in Florida was just outside our room. The viewpoint is beautiful.

It's on the southeastern most point on Singer Island and is adjacent to the Palm Beach Inlet (and this leads to the Port of Palm Beach). So, it's possible to see lots of boats and ships here. Many folks were fishing off this point also. Tip: each day around 6:30 - 7:00 a.m. a cruise ship heads out for an overnight to The Bahamas and around 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. another ship arrives from an overnight to The Bahamas. Good photo opportunities then along with sunrise and late afternoon pictures.

It's east. Like, really really east. More east than the rest of Florida. Of course it doesn't look like it, except at sunrise, when the sun rises a fraction of a second earlier than the parts of Florida a few feet north and south. And don't forget the evening, when it gets dark a fraction of a second sooner than the parts of Florida not graced with as much "east" in their location. Truly, this spot is what daylight savings time is all about. Other than that... It's a beach. Sand. Waves. Sun. 5 stars.

Update, 12/23: due to tectonic spreading at the mid-ocean ridge, the easternmost point of Florida has moved west by about the length of a fingernail over the past year. However, since the entire coast of Florida has moved westward at roughly the same rate, the user experience at the easternmost point of Florida has not changed to any significant degree. Still five stars.

Beautiful beach. Quiet. Fishing allowed in the intracoastal. You can go for a relaxing stroll with your dog and sit on a bench.

This was right next to our hotel. Some of the boats were jaw dropping beautiful and the big bardges that came thru. So fun to watch, along with the ones that live and eat here!

Another spot where you can't help but think, AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL! The pier is pretty slippery so be sure to use caution.
