First time here, i live in the area and i have been looking for a nail salon that i will enjoy going to and a nail tech who is willing to try new things or implement creative designs . Ive gone to most of the fancy nail salons in the area and while a glass of wine while i get a mani pedi is nice, most of them are not actually really good at nails or act like you’re wasting their time when you’re trying to explain exactly what you want if its not a basic set even though you’re paying for the designs. And also generally professionalism and patience.
I’ve only gone to Genre once, and they far exceeded my expectations, we negotiated the designs throughout the process, the guy who did my nails (the owner I believe) was patient which also made me be more open to respect his expertise and his input. After everything I was happy with my nails, it wasn’t cheap but i was happy to pay the up charge for the designs because i felt heard throughout. Really love my nails and i will definitely be back!

The owner Son and his wife are amazing, very sweet and attentive. My mother and my two sisters also get their nails done here and they always do a great job. They take their time and pay attention to detail.

Never have I loved my nails more! I hate trying new places, but I’m glad I did because Son did AMAZING on my french acrylic set and manicure. He paid attention to the details and made them super durable. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. I’m bring my boyfriend next week for his first pedicure. I can’t wait!! This is my new nail salon! I stopped by to see if I could get a new SNS manicure. They took me immediately. The salon is quiet, soothing and very clean. I got the BEST set of SNS nails I've ever had. Mina gave me the perfect shape I requested, the perfect length and the outcome is beautiful. I will be back!

My wife and I love Nail Genre! I usually get pedicures and she will get both manicures and pedicures. They have the sweetest staff who do a really great job! They are patient with people who are picky and gentle with people who have sensitive feet. As a man, I prefer a close cut (that isn't painful) and looks super clean and well-finished. Li does an incredible job making my feet look far better than they deserve to look! She is perfect at getting all the deep ingrown nail areas (that we all have, don't act like you're fancy) without me even feeling it! Same thing for getting all the dead/dry skin areas on the bottoms of my feet, they always feel silky smooth when she's done. There's another lady who is available (not sure what her name is) she's very kind and sweet as well. All the guys do a great job for my wife, and in general everyone is very nice to just come chat with. For the excellent service you get and the gentle touch, it's a great spot! Super clean, no chemical smells, peaceful TV, comfy massage chairs, rarely a wait, and very nice staff - easily the best place for a pedicure in Gwinnett County! Remember to give these nice people a good tip and thank them for their great service!

Nail Genre is a very relaxing salon offering a variety of nail and beauty services. It's exceptionally clean. They play beautiful relaxing videos of an Asian Martha Stewart type, offer cold water and converse with you. Most manicures last 3 weeks. They have a frequent visitor discount card, which I seem to lose constantly. I always leave feeling relaxed and pampered. I'm not positive but I think they offer waxing services.
