Micron did a wonderful job on our deck. Exceeded our expectations through and through. What I liked about Kevin is his attention to details and ensuring that he uses only the best quality products. We wanted our structure permitted so Kevin took care of all that. It required a lot of patience but it was well worth it. Our “massive” deck has become a landmark in our subdivision 😄

If you’re considering using Kevin - DO IT. I just finished a major bathroom reno that included gutting 2 bathrooms and moving walls to move laundry space and added a storage closet. He was always on time, quick to respond, HONEST, his budget was spot on (only went over on my design choices, oups), AND he got this all done in TEN days to accommodate visitors I had coming town. To top it all off he spent his own Friday night thoroughly cleaning up the space to ensure it was livable and picked up for my guests. I’ve already sent his number to my grandma for roof work and will use him on any future home projects I have (as well as pass him to everyone I know). I hit the jackpot by hiring kevin!

We hired Kevin and his team for a room addition,
Wraparound deck, and a full under deck, for the ultimate outdoor living experience. He did not disappoint. Kevin is high end without breaking the bank. He is professional and stays involved throughout the entire job. His team is meticulous about clean up so we never had any issues with our HOA. We were so pleased with our outdoor living space that we asked Kevin to come back to add a full bathroom in our basement. The bathroom is spectacular, it is so nice that we will likely need to have Micron come back to update our Master Bath. I have my own ideas and I know what I like and what I want, but I did appreciate that Kevin was able to take my ideas to the next level, he stays abreast of the latest home improvement trends and tries to match them to your taste. All in all our experience was amazing.....our friends and neighbors have repeatedly requested Kevin’s contact information. We will definitely contact Micron for our next big project, thank you Micron for being professional, providing us quality work, and adding even more value to our home

Micron Construction replaced my roof and did a stellar job! Kevin was very professional from start to finish. I would definitely use his services again and would recommend him to others.

Kevin with micron Construction just replaced my preschool's roof at Akers Academy in Alphabet. Throughout the process Kevin Hawkins was on time, always polite and friendly, and very knowledgeable. My preschool is open during the week, so that just left the weekend. Material staging on Friday, and 160 squares completed by Sunday morning. The crew knew what they were doing and no wasting time. Come Monday the project was complete, To date, not a single nail has been found anywhere. That's over 400,000 nails. I highly recommend Micron from my experience.

The project was a small home renovation with a total budget of roughly $20,000. Micron was able to manage the project to high standard of quality in a tight timeframe. Managing the schedule was particularly impressive since so many subcontractors are busy right now with big jobs it can be difficult to get them to commit to a schedule for a small job.

We will definitely consider Micron for any future work.

Highly recommend

I have a metal roof installed by Micron construction in 2016. My experience with Micron Construction Co. has been deeply unsatisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my grievances. There have been multiple significant issues with their services:

1. Roof Leakage: Shortly after the installation, my roof started to leak, causing extensive damage to my property and personal belongings. This is indicative of subpar workmanship.

2. Lack of Responsiveness: My attempts to contact Kevin, the owner of the company, regarding these issues have gone unanswered. The lack of responsiveness is concerning and shows a lack of responsibility.

3. Poor Customer Service: Throughout this ordeal, I have encountered consistently poor customer service. My concerns have been met with indifference, and there has been a severe lack of assistance or follow-up.

4. Communication Issues: Communication with Micron Construction Co. has been a frustrating experience. Their inability to effectively communicate has made resolving these ongoing roof issues incredibly challenging.

5. Failure to Provide Impact Certificate: Despite promises to deliver an impact certificate, the company has failed to do so for seven years, despite numerous attempts to contact them. This negligence is unacceptable.

I have supporting documentation, including photographs of the roof damage, copies of our correspondence, and any relevant contracts or agreements. These documents clearly demonstrate the company's negligence, substandard work, and lack of professionalism. My experience with Micron Construction Co. has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating.

WORST COMPANY IN THE BUSINESS!!!! If I could leave negative stars I would. First off he doesn’t abide by OSHA safety guidelines. He was working on a roof with no harness. On top of that he’s money hungry. He told me “keep your mouth shut. I’ve got the adjuster.” Then when whatever plan he concocted for the adjuster failed he proceeded to argue with the adjuster. Next he gets the check, cashes it IMMEDIATELY. But whenever he was asked about a start date it was an issue. He could never get his workers to the site. He rescheduled 12 times! When I mentioned how unprofessional that was, to continuously reschedule and drag out a project that was guarenteed to be completed in 3 weeks. He became very ignorant and told me he’d refund me and to cease contact. It took an entire month to receive the refund. (Which I didn’t understand why he mailed it. When he drove to pick it up.) He acted as if I was wrong for expecting the service that was paid for. If you need roof repairs stay away from these guys. They’ll be paid while you wait. Bell Roofing is way more professional and efficient. We had no problem with them delegating workers, starting promptly, and performing EXCEPTIONAL work in a timely manner.
