I didn’t know what all I wanted, but Brooke, Jenny & the team welcomed us with open arms. They took our half-formed wisps of ideas and created the most incredible scene for our reception - when my husband and I stepped in to view the room before our guests, it brought tears to my eyes … I was completely blown away. They matched our vision and our vibe beautifully! We received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the flowers were, and the team was an absolute DELIGHT to work with. Their team creates magical scenes of floral art, and they do so with love, humor, patience and creativity. We can’t thank you enough for helping plant memories which will last a lifetime!

Our magical fairytale wedding was this past weekend at Swank Farm. Southern Floral did our floral arrangements for the ceremony aisle, my gorgeous bouquet and the magnificent circular arch for our ceremony. I gave Beth at Southern Floral inspiration photos and it was all perfectly designed and executed. I was so impressed that it was exactly what I dreamt up! Southern Floral also decorated the bar back at our reception & the back wall of the stage behind the band with tons of greenery, candles & disco balls. I was soo happy with everything. Southern Floral Company did the flowers for our wedding, and when I tell you that they were absolutely stunning, I am not lying or exaggerating! All of our guests jaws dropped when they saw our reception space, and so did mine! They went above, and beyond choosing the most beautiful flowers, and making my vision, come to life. Magnificent and elegant work.

So I selected Southern floral to do the florals at my daughter’s wedding at the Pelican club on March 20, 2022. I thought that they were extremely professional and helpful with selecting flowers and arrangements for the entire wedding including the chuppah the personal flowers and the table decor. I asked for the team to put together two arrangements so I could see them beforehand. There was no issue and they were beautiful but beware that they charge (full price) for the samples. I was able to take them home with me. I wanted to see what they would look like to be certain it was what we wanted and I’m glad I did.

Beth suggested a really cool guest seating decor idea with calligraphy on lucite blocks. I loved the idea and so we went with it instead of place cards or a listing on a board. Jenny, Brooke and I went back and forth several times till I finalized the guest list. Something went terribly wrong because the wedding list and the welcome dinner list got mixed up. The blocks were beautiful but completely wrong on the big day. I take some responsibility for not getting a proof prior to the event, but it was total chaos at a 200 person wedding. Jenny apologized when I notified her of the mistake and offered to refund our money for that portion of the invoice. I think maybe there should have been some explanation from her or Beth but I did not hear from them after I made the initial phone call about the error. I was very disappointed.

Let me say that the flowers were spectacular and the suggestions they made were perfect. I would highly recommend them, but be sure to get a proof of anything other than florals that they offer to do for you as mistakes can happen. Unfortunately for us it was a big one!
