Becky McConnell’s Team helped me find & purchase a house in Largo while I was living in NC. Now that takes true teamwork to make happen! I met my Realtor, Allison Mawhinney, through an old friend I knew living here, she had just helped them buy a home in St Pete. Allison talked to me about what I wanted in a house, then set up a custom search in the MLS system and I selected homes I was interested in. She answered any and all questions I had about the neighborhoods, the home’s materials, pros, cons, whatever. One day I found five potential houses and she video toured all of them that same day. We found one in Largo that we both thought was a great little home and she immediately got to work crafting my offer that night (fyi, we had also put in an offer for one other home before this one, but I was outbid). The next day we submitted the offer, and the day after we found out it was accepted. After that, the entire purchasing process went smoothly from start to finish. Their team stayed in contact with my bank’s loan representative and kept on top of them about getting paperwork in on time and copied me on all the emails. Allison negotiated with the seller on some little fixes, the inspections and appraisal got done, and I ended up pretty happy with the deal I got on the property. On the day of closing, Allison and her assistant met me at the new house, along with the Notary, and I signed everything on the spot and got the keys. I now own a home with a huge yard that has eight palm trees. Let me tell you, palm tree ownership feels like a whole other level of ownership.

Thanks so much to Allison and the entire Becky McConnell Team! They were on point the entire time and got me into my new home in thirty-five days. I packed on Tuesday, drove from NC to FL on Wednesday, signed the paperwork on Thursday morning, and moved in that afternoon. It was seamless, I honestly could not believe it. Highly recommend!

Terrible! So much went wrong. Started out strong, great staging. Open house had NO one from her office supervising it (which we did not know was going to happen) and our house was trashed. A door was broken off the hinges, mud and dirt was tracked all through the house, someone used the toilet and made the house reek. We visited the house to check on it in between showings and discovered all this. Shocked is an understatement. Then we were rushed through the offers as if she just wanted to be finished. DO NOT use her house inspector!! They lost us a contract by telling the buyers our roof was years older than it actually was (permits are public!! how could he miss it?) We were foolish enough to use them to inspect the house we bought as well (because Becky was the realtor on that house also) They skipped over an electrical panel that no insurance company in Florida will insure. How convenient. We were left to pay to have the electrical panel replaced out of our own pocket in order to get insurance. When we called this incompetent inspector, the owner said that it is the inspectors judgement on what to write up.
