Gigi's Cupcakes of Winston Salem

I live in VA and my brother in Winston-Salem NC so I am not familiar with bakeries in the area. I googled cupcake bakery specifically with buttercream frosting and specific flavors for a surprise 60th birthday lunch for my brother.. Gigi Bakery indicated it had both, so I took a chance. I am very much a snob on my buttercream. When I arrived, the staff was amazing and friendly and I am sorry I dont remember their name to give them a shout out. My order was ready when I requested. The cupcakes were beautiful and tasted heavenly. The cake part was moist and flavorful. The buttercream was creamy and not to sweet. Some people thought it was too much frosting, but I am a frosting person, so not for me. I can wait to have them again. !!! Wish I had taken better pics of them, but I was too busy eating them.

Not only did they have an amazing and delicious selection, but the staff member was so helpful in assisting us with some dietary restrictions and allergies. I can't say enough nice things! She was simply delightful! We will definitely be back!

Read service. I love Gigi‘s cupcakes. I love their cheesecakes as well. This time I grabbed a stuffed cookie. I am so excited that they are exploring a few other items you have to look to the side on a shelf for these delicious cookies.

The staff was great! I was greeted with a smile!!🙂 The young lady was very nice and polite from the moment I walked in the door and on the phone!! My wedding cake was absolutely BEAUTIFUL & DELICIOUS!! My Husband and I received so many compliments. The cake was delivered to the wedding reception on time as promised!

Quick and easy for a cupcake. Key lime was awesome. The icing is as good as the cupcake!

I ordered from here on DoorDash for my mother's birthday on May 22 2023 and I was so surprised how fast they got to my mother, she absolutely loved them and she normally doesn't like sweets, also my autistic 6 year old brother who doesn't eat sweets that aren't chocolate absolutely devoured the 12 count mini verity cupcakes with my mother. We will definitely be ordering from here again!!

We had a great experience with Gigi's Cupcakes, Lavi was wonderful. We ordered a 3 tier Wedding cake from them and brought the topper and artificial flowers for them to place on the cake for us. we loved how the cake wasn't dry but didn't just crumble apart. We had many compliments. She was able to get the flavor combinations we asked for and make us out perfect cake and delivered early to set up in it's place. Something else they got set up for us was their app to get the reward points for ording the cake which allowed us to get extra cupcakes whenever we choose to use the points.

Great “first” experience; I hadn’t been here in over 5 years and was delighted with the owners who were friendly and accommodating. My l/o started coughing and they came right over to our table with a bottle of water. I thought that was very kind. The place is super clean and it was nice to sit, relax and eat our cupcakes, which were delicious. Strawberry for me and cotton candy for the toddler..both very fresh and not overly sweet!

Want to thank the staff at Gigi’s for receiving my call 20min before close and preparing an order for my daughter on her birthday. I’m out of state and they helped make her birthday night complete!!

Gigi's came in clutch for my pregnancy cravings for frosting. Kind people work here and I can't appreciate them enough! Frosting 10/10!

I love their turtle cheesecake cupcakes, and it's awesome to be able to find gluten free items that actually taste like the original cupcake!

Friendly staff, had a great experience taking my little girls here. Cupcakes presented beautifully and tasted even better. Even had a question about an ingredient and possible allergy before we ate one that we took home (that appeared to have nuts) and submitted a question online after hours and someone called me immediately after hours to answer my question. Impressive!

These cupcakes are so yummy! It seems there is a cupcake shop on every corner these days and often they look better than they taste. But Gigi's is amazing. The cupcakes and cheesecakes are beautiful, moist, and delicious. Even the frosting! The turtle cheesecake and lemon cupcake were our favorites, but everything we tried was delicious.

Friendly service that goes above and beyond! I was out of the country and wanted to send some cupcakes to someone living in a nearby flat. It was for a birthday occasion and I wanted to plan something special. I was referred to the store manager for my special request and she gave such caring service – right from suggesting flavors/toppings, getting balloons and down to delivering the cupcakes to the recipient herself on very short notice. Highly recommend!

Just received a dozen cupcakes on my doorstep for my son’s birthday! Gigi’s practically waited until we got home (which made them stuck way after hours) to ensure we got our delivery! They did an absolutely wonderful job for my grandmother's birthday! I live further away from her and was able to call and have them delivered same day and very quick! She called to tell me they are super delicious. Thank you guys for doing such an amazing job at making her day special for me!!

Great place for a nice cozy conversation and awesome cupcakes. This store saved my life when a company was to make hundreds of cupcakes for a big party and died on me. Gigi's stepped in with three days and pulled out a miracle. I can never thank them enough. The party was a huge success and everyone loved the cupcakes. Oh. They were exactly what we needed in color. Thank you Gigi's.

It's the best cupcake/sweet I've ever had. If anyone says otherwise, be skeptical. I pretty much pass on all other sweets after having the White Midnight Magic cupcake. Diabetes runs in my family, but her cupcakes outweigh the risk.
