Hideaway Sands Resort

Been owners here for more than 20 years and cannot say enough good things about the resort. The location and beach are the best you will find on the gulf coast.... Cathy and Gordon in the office are amazing...responsive, prompt and courteous...... and the Sunsets!!... no 2 are the same.... thats why we all get together almost every night for cocktails and viewing of another spectacular day gone by..:))))

This is a nice, clean little place on the beach and it is the BEST spot on the beach for sure!! I’ve been here 5 times. I come almost every year, usually by myself but sometimes with a guest. The studio rooms aren’t really big enough for more than 2 people, but there are 1 and 2 BD available that are large. It is always clean, well maintained and comfortable. Staff is wonderful (shout out to Gordon!). Laundry on site. You can’t beat the view and location. Free cabana out on the beach is so nice too! I love the Hideaway!

This is like having a cottage at the beach. It is not a hotel resort with maid service, and social director. It is clean,well furnished with all you need. People gather on the patio where there are timi tables or at the umbrella tables at the pool or Jacuzzi. It is convenient to shops and restaurants, and right on the beach.

Just love this little hideaway it's my 'Happy Place' We are from England and we found this little gem quite a few years ago. We would not stay anywhere else on St Pete, when you have had the best you don't go anywhere else 😉
We always rent beach front, the sunsets are the best I have seen anywhere else in the world.

We love it here and been coming for years! Quaint old fashioned beach resort. Perfect for direct beach access and simple comfortable amenities. Not the place for someone looking for modern updated fast-paced rooms. Occasionally they have cleaning issues but they are quick to correct it. It's hard to keep good staff right now.

We have two different weeks for our time share. The staff has been very, very helpful with our needs. The unit is always spotless upon our arrival and has everything we could need. We have a wonderful beach view from our balcony and we also use the pool quite often when we are there and it is very well maintained.

Lovely timeshare with phenomenal space right on the beach. The pool and hot tub are lively while the cabanas (included free of charge) are very relaxing. Plenty of good food and drinks in the area, a great little spot to vacation on the beach.

Our family have owned here for 35 years! This is our little piece of paradise! Absolutely gorgeous Gulf of Mexico property! Cathy and Gordon are absolutely wonderful...spotless rooms, pool, locker rooms! A hidden gem for sure...sugar sand beaches, crystal blue water, and no two cotton Candy sunsets are the same....safe and happy environment 💕

If you are looking for a modern place like the Marriott this is not for you. This is a nice small but clean and well managed place. They have two bedroom townhouses and one bedroom and efficiencies. They do not have elevators for second floor and townhouse units. However if you are looking for a nice quite place with plenty of beach time this is the place for you. We've been owners here for about 10 years and we have never had a bad experience.

We have owned an efficiency unit for 8 years and have enjoyed a week's vacation here for the past 4 years.
This is our favorite timeshare. The location is superb! ! The unit is small, but clean, comfortable and we'll stocked. St. Pete's beach is beautiful. We love the free cabanas. The pool is clean and never over crowded.

We love coming here. The staff is friendly and fantastic. The beach is beautiful and clean. It's a small and cozy place to relax. Everything you need for a great vacation is right here. The sunsets are different every night, who needs TV when nature puts on a show.

Super fun with a nice pool and jacuzzi. The private beach was amazing and I loved sitting out there at night and early in the morning. Maybe not the place if you want quiet time away from people (Thanksgiving weekend a couple groups of families stay there), but perfect for us :)

We had an amazing week staycation here! From start to finish, Gordon was very kind, funny and helpful with any questions we had. The unit was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. We had lunch out on the patio and enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and beautiful sunsets! Cannot wait to go back!

We rented at Hideaway in 2011 and loved it and have come back as owners every year (November and February) since then. The management and maintenance personnel at this resort are doing an excellent job. The best service with a smile every time we check in. Resort looks amazing and the wide white sand beach and free cabanas can't be beat. Love the area the resort is located in too. Can't find anything negative about this resort and we travel to many others but we call this gem our home away from home!

Nice hidden jewel on the beach. Place is VERY WELL maintained. Whoever they have as head of maintenance they need to hold on to because I couldn't find a loose screw, blown bulb, or anything bad to say about the place. Other places I have been on the beach feel run down, dated, in need of repair, or fresh paint. This place was amazing. Definitely will be back!

This is a great place for couples or families with kids. You are right on the beach! All the folks who own the week are friendly and helpful. The staff is wonderful. If you need anything, they will help. You can't go wrong staying here. I love it.

This was my first time staying here and Hideaway Sands is truly a hidden gem. Gordon and the blonde lady were above and beyond with their customer service skills. Extremely accommodating. We will be back. Our view of the Gulf of Mexico was spectacular. Could not believe how close we were to the beautiful white beach.

We go every year. I love this place. We have a weeK in a gulf front efficiency, and a week in a townhouse. (I like the efficiency more- but extra room is nice). The beach is the best anywhere. The staff is friendly and and accommodating. Love the tiki huts and grill area.The place is kept very clean. We have been going every summer since 2008. I smile thinking about it.

I have been going to Hideaway since it's inception, as a guest of others. Now, I have been an owner for around 8 years and just bought a second unit. If you want a quiet, relaxing time, this is the place. The staff is like family, the place is clean and cozy with a beach that is second to NONE !!!

The stars are for the location. Staff is wonderful at this Mom/Pop style beach get a way. Great value for the cost. Full kitchen,pool clean cosy rooms..BEst part is Beach with Deck chairs. Also a cooler is legal on the Deck. Not on the beach. In St Petersburg Beach..No Alcohol on public beaches. 😭
