Pelican Cafe

We were visiting West Palm Beach for a week. We ate at the Pelican Cafe 3 times! Twice for dinner, once with friends for breakfast/ lunch. Obviously we loved everything about it. We enjoyed eating on the patio each time. My partner ordered the Chicken Parmesan and said it was the best he has had. I had the Veal Parmesan which was also delicious. Another night I enjoyed the pasta with red clam sauce. The atmosphere is lovely though inside probably gets pretty loud when crowded. Service by Raphael was impeccable.

Pelican Cafe is amazing! We went for a late breakfast which is not always available everywhere. The food is prepared to perfection. We had the vegetarian omelette, frittata and don’t forget to pair it with a delicious Bloody Mary. I love the fresh yellow roses and outside seating option too. The owner, Mark, is very hospitable! Definitely one of our favs in the area.

Top notch service. Our waitress was on point very attentive. The food arrived promptly and it was delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pelican Cafe for my friend birthday , and I must say it was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a memorable experience. Our waiter Alex was amazing and very informative.

The best salmon I’ve ever had. Great service. I haven’t had a bad meal here.

We take our out of town guests to Pelican Cafe for breakfast. The food has always been consistently tasty, and the atmosphere is a bit more regal than most breakfast places. We suggest reserving a table for weekend breakfast.

Super friendly staff. Portions are very generous! Recommend sharing if you're with kids or a small-medium appetite.

Salmon benedict was perfectly cooked. Not too runny, not overcooked. Just perfect!

French toast and pancakes were a generous amount, and delicious.

My wife and I had dinner on Saturday night 5/4/24. The atmosphere was awesome. The food was extraordinary, best chicken marsala i have ever had. Special shout out to Marvin our server, he was gracious, professional and fun. He went out of his way to make my wife's birthday special. Nice Job guys, thank you!!

Decent amount of parking. We had the filet Benedict and that was great. Bloody Mary’s were nice and spicy. No wait on a Saturday afternoon when we came. The owner came out and spoke to us etc. a nice spot. My parents like it here a lot and come back all the time.

Food is delicious and well prepared. Service was friendly and we definitely were not rushed. This was more expensive than we anticipated.. However the quality of the food warranted it. The Old Fashion was excellent

Be prepared to be served great food here!! I loved the house made cocktail sauce with my jumbo shrimp. To top it off, there were even a couple of slices of avocado (perhaps one of my favorite foods ever) with it. My husband loved the Italian Egg Drop soup and commented that it had a very smooth and light taste. We shared a Chocolate Molten Cake with ice cream, which was quite decadent!

This was our first time at this wonderful Cafe, which is more like a fine Italian restaurant. And . . . we are going back in a couple of days before we go back to our home in Kansas. I just have to try the Zuchinni Blossoms!! Thanks to Raphael and all the staff for treating us like royalty!!

Lunch was excellent. Service was on point. They have nice outdoor seating that was dog friendly. Extensive menu for breakfast and lunch, the food was fantastic! The hostess was very kind and accommodating. The server assistants made sure to check on the table, the food runner offered fresh pepper and made sure everything was perfect. The soup and salad were fresh and delicious. They brought fresh cold water for my dog. It's fine dining and everything you would expect in quality and service and price for this caliper of a restaurant. My only small bit of criticism would be paper napkins. When your check average for lunch is $20 pp at a very minimum I would expect cloth. Beautiful view of the park, right across from the intercoastal. I had a wonderful lunch after walking my dog. I was not offered any donuts, like others had reviewed.

This place was incredible. The atmosphere felt very quaint. We were immediately greeted and sat to a table. There were many servers and staff to help with whatever you requested. The food tasted good and was filling. I definitely recommend this spot for a date brunch/lunch!

I've been dining here for 6 years and have yet to have a bad meal.
The food is always excellent, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is quaint and cozy.
They have raised their prices recently, which have made them a little out of reach for most people. Especially with all of the other Italian restaurant competition around.
But still highly recommended!

Now, so today we had dinner here.
This location was amazing. It was a very cozy feeling. We were seated at a table right away after being welcomed. There were plenty of waiters and employees there to assist you with your needs. The dinner was satisfying and had a nice flavor. I absolutely recommend this spot for a date brunch/lunch!

Everything was Outstanding.

Probably the best meal we had during our month-long stay in the Palm Beach area. We happened to drive by earlier in the day, saw the pelican out front, checked reviews a couple of hours later and called to see if they could squeeze us in. They were busy but they did find a spot for us.

We were blown away by the hospitality - by far the friendliest and most helpful restaurant staff we encountered during our trip. Everyone we interacted with - host, server, food runners, etc.

Not knowing anything about the place, we weren’t expecting fine dining, but that’s what we got! The live music was also a surprise and all of the retirees busting a move were hilarious. We wanted to move down and become their friends!

Highly recommended, can’t wait to go back.

Had a wonderful experience at the Pelican Cafe yesterday. The staff was very friendly and provided exceptional service. The homemade donuts are extremely good and worth stopping for alone, but the other brunch items were also very good. They deserve a 5 star rating!

I deleted our previous 5 star review from a past experience to update with our latest visit. This restaurant is excellent and has never disappointed. We have previously had over the top service here and have witnessed the staff going out of their way. Our latest visit was no exception. Due to our inadvertent mistake while making our reservation, we arrived with no reservation and they were fully booked. They quickly went out of their way to still accommodate our group, and saved our evening. The food and service were again both spectacular. Highly recommend!

I was meeting a friend for breakfast, so we checked Google to find a place, close by. We chose the Pelican Cafe instead of a franchise place. From the second we walked in, we were so glad to be there.. Pat, the hostess greeted us, and welcomed us, and allowed us to choose a table. It was late for breakfast, and early for lunch, so it wasn't crazy busy. Our server, Yana, came over with a smile and greeted us. We ordered our food, and chatted about our first impressions. Everyone who we encountered from Pat, up front, Yana, or server and even the guys bussing the tables really seemed happy to be there. It set the tone for a really good experience. We discussed that everyone seemed genuinely happy to work there. We assumed the owners and managers must be great to work with. Then the food arrived! The omelet for my friend, and the Belgian Waffle for me, were cooked to perfection, and the presentation was so appetizing. My waffle had fresh berries with whipped cream, and a side of syrup. Carolyn (I think the manager)visited our table, to ask how our experience was. She was so friendly and genuine, it capped off our outstanding experience at the Pelican Cafe. Neither of us live close by, but we'll definitely be back.

We came for lunch so it was very tranquil, such a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the service so attentive and professional, Caroline and her teammates made us feel welcome and they were very accommodating to our every need.
