Nice ball park for softball games. It had shaded seating and sunshine seating. Nice bathrooms. It was just a good, convenient place for my daughter to play her games.

We used the shelter and surrounding are for my sons 26th birthday bash and it was great. That particular area is a little secluded from the rest of the park, and it was perfect.

I do use their tennis courts for my the tennis event I host. Good courts and many available all the time. I do appreciate it that the lights dong go off too early 😍

This park is nice. It has two play structures, one for older kids and the other for younger kids. It has two bucket swings and two regular swings. The play area is surrounded by a wooden fence and there are benches on each side. The ground is partially padded and the rest is concrete. There is a bathroom and water fountain within walking distance. There are trails and tennis courts. There are lots of trees so it can be shaded depending on where the sun is. There’s a lot of parking surrounding the park also.

Lovely Durham City Park tucked in a residential neighborhood. The Warren Creek trail goes through Whippoorwill Park. This is a photo of part of the Jump and Run Creek that runs along the trail.

Absolutely love this park. I go here daily to walk on the Warren Creek Trail. Clean, quiet, peaceful 😌 Scenery is beautiful as well. Nice playground for kids & a tennis court available.

Great quality brand new hard surface tennis courts. In the summer it’s a nice and cool oasis away from the heat of the city - because the courts are tucked nicely in the woods, the temperature is a couple of degrees cooler, which makes a big difference on hot and humid NC summer days.

Had my son 2nd Birthday Party here and it was great.. Kids enjoyed playing on the playground and picnic area was very spacious. Not many people know about it because it's so far back off the main road so it's very rare that you will see other kids playing there but great for a private occasion like kids birthday party.

A nice neighborhood park. Ample play space and structures for the little ones, with swings and a climbing structure. Several tennis courts and futbol field. Picnic tables under shade. Lots of free parking.

No complaints really, courts are well maintained and the bathrooms have been available every time I’ve been there. I’m usually there for league play so it might be a frustrating place to try to hop on a court if you’re not there as a part of league play, not sure

Best park in Durham. Shhh...dont't tell anyone! (That means you! Seriously, only tell your cool friends who like quiet spaces and leisurely walks with well-heeled-dogs and infants. And tennis players. And baseball people. Aww...Just don't litter, K?)

Seems like a lovely park. There's a playground, lots of tennis courts, a baseball field, and some restrooms. The rest is just peaceful hiking trails. The main one is paved.

Small private park, very clean surroundings. The children rides and activities were in the center of everything so easily watched.I would go there again and tell a friend.
