Amazing quality coffee, super cool setup whether you sit inside or out. Stop by, grab a coffee and go see some art at the Morean Art Center, I Highly recommend it.

One of the best spots in downtown St Pete. If you're looking for an alternative from the bar/alcohol scene this is the place to be. Every staff member is beyond friendly, atmosphere is great, and coffee/drinks are always beyond my expectations. Great place to get work done, can't recommend Driftwood Kava enough!

The vibe here is friendly warm and inviting. A fun mix of artists professionals enjoying Kratom, coffee or suprisingly good breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. I'm an espresso snob and I think their oatmilk cappuccinos are excellent. Also the staff are very pleasant and conversational.

Stopped in to meet up with a friend and wound up staying after the friend left. Fantastic kava, very kind folks behind the bar, clean restrooms and the art was perfectly chosen to match the vibe. I'm glad I found this place! Will absolutely be returning!

My go to place for coffee and a nice place to work. Baristas are ALWAYS super friendly and inviting! It's tough to deal with the myriad of entitled people who think that they are the center of the universe and everyone should cater to them... But all the employees handle things politely and efficiently.

I absolutely love this place from the decoration and inside designing, to the friendly costumer service.

I found a parking spot right in front of this place and the whole line of parking in here it’s free. You can park there for free for up to two hours.

I got a croissant with eggs and cheese and it was delicious as well as their coffee who they press it there.

The prices were excellent and if I lived there I will definitely go every day to work on my laptop since they have a nice environment inside.

Driving down central out looking for a good healthy smoothie spot and BOOM we see Driftwood. Walked in and the ambiance and customer service was ahhhhmazing! The two women and the gentleman at the front counter was beyond helpful in knowing all their products and making great suggestions on what to try first. They are great people as well. We ordered two smoothies (Island Breeze, Chocolate PB) and a vegan sausage egg and cheese croissant. The smoothies were excellent however, the crossiant was good I just didn't care for that particular vegan sausage. Other than that we will definitely be back and keep Driftwood on our place of St. Pete eateries.

My second home! The staff is amazing and anyways professional and supportive. I love the atmosphere and always feel welcome and comfortable when I am working remotely or just hanging out with the team here. The teas and drinks are top-knoth, and I cannot say enough good things about the baristas here. Special shout out to the whole gang: Cass, Katie, Corey, Ozzy, Ryan, Chris, G, Josh, and Julian!

I absolutely love this place! After witnessing some disrespect towards the staff, I want to make it clear that this is a kava bar/lounge that serves coffee and delicious snacks. It is in no way affiliated with the breakfast restaurant "Driftwood" on the pier. This is where local kava enthusiasts gather to socialize and mingle, which is why they stay open until 12am. You can expect music playing and a lively atmosphere for socializing. And hey, if that's not your vibe, there are plenty of other coffee shops on the block to choose from. Just a friendly suggestion!

Love this place, always a fan of the friendly staff, the coffee, and the teas. Definitely has that neighborhood hangout vibe. The only complaint I have is when entitled people come in and talk AT the staff, it’s hard to see such nice folks being treated as “less than”… always impressed with the barista’s professionalism when handling these type of people.

My mom and I just tried this coffee shop for the first time this weekend and it was absolutely amazing! Lovely seating indoors and out. They have some pastries and cookies in a window, but they also have a food menu. I tried the bacon, egg & cheese on a croissant and my mom tried the avocado toast - AMAZING! Our lattes were very rich and tasty as well. I highly recommend this place! The one thing that put me off was the automated tip percentages that populate after inserting a card.... The lowest was 20% with a caption that read "Bare Minimum". At 25% the caption read something like "We could do better". The highest was 40%. I would think any amount of tip is appreciated, so I am displeased with this culture of demanding/manipulating more from customers.

Located on the busiest street in the heart of the city, this versatile gem offers a haven for both relaxation and productivity. Amidst the urban buzz, patrons can savor more than just kava, indulging in mouthwatering avocado toast and other light fare, perfectly paired with a selection of teas.

With the added perk of complimentary Wi-Fi, it's an ideal spot for those seeking a cozy yet vibrant workspace. Whether unwinding with a soothing kava elixir or settling in for a productive session, this spot seamlessly blends comfort, convenience, and culinary creativity, making it a standout destination in the city center.

Amazing coffee cafe in downtown St. Petersburg. The design is light and bright, a modern mix meets Hawaii with a flair. The hanging chairs are a favorite along with the chess sets. Try their kava which is served in half coconut shells. I had a cortado and avocado toast for breakfast. The coffee blend is smooth and delicious!

I’m not always comfortable at kava bars, but I really love the vibe at Driftwood! It’s more of a vibrant café with lots of options for refreshments. I enjoy posting up and doing work, meeting with friends, or having a breakfast sandwich or açaí bowl with my coffee or kombucha.

Had the exhilarating experience at the kava and roastery this morning 🙌 The atmosphere is perfect and the staff is unmatched. Thank you for my first kava experience. I've added the acai bowls that I took to go which were delicious. I will definitely be returning to visit for the great conversation and welcoming atmosphere 🙏 Highly recommend checking them out!

Can’t say enough great things about this amazing coffee shop. Fantastic coffee and tea options, delicious homemade breakfasts, amazing staff, and the best part? It’s so inexpensive compared to larger chain cafes. At Starbucks you’re paying $11-$12 for a small breakfast with iced coffee. At Driftwood, I am spending $7-8 for both a higher quality breakfast and an iced coffee. I make it a point to visit and support this amazing business every time I’m in town.

Every time I come into Driftwood Ozzy has my order ready for me almost before I walk into the door. He even remembers that I don’t like disposable plastic. Paper cups only!! Also his music selection is one of the reasons I like to come in on a Saturday night. It’s family friendly, and the plethora of music ranges from punk rock, Rap, and even a little Taylor Swift for all the 20 year old gits. If you’re looking for a chill place to hang out stop by Driftwood on a Saturday night, and see Ozzy. You won’t regret it.
