Such an absolutely uplifting and spiritual environment. The energy created by the owner exudes love and "welcome". I started bringing my granddaughter here when she was around 3 yrs. old so that she could absorb the love, imagery, and respect that Medu offers. Our community is truly blessed.

This is my go-to bookstore, I found some great books for my great toddler niece to get her started on her collection of Black positive image books. The store hosted a book signing on Saturday and included the Author, Senior Servant/Pastor Dr. F Keith Slaughter of Beloved Community Church of Atlanta, located at 1113 IRA Street, Atlanta radio host of the renowned, Black Talk Radio Station WAOK 1380 AM and Morehouse's Professor of Religion/Pastoral care at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, former President-Dean of Morehouse School of Religion!
