Basil Thai and Sushi

First time here, and we were thrilled with the food, atmosphere, friendly and professional service. But the food was incredible. The noodles were so incredibly good, both our lunch plates perfectly prepared, temperature perfect, size of serving large, prices very reasonable. I can’t describe how good the veggies, rice, chicken are. So glad we found this incredible restaurant. Thank you!

Basil Thai is by far the best Asian restaurant in the area. The ambiance is so cozy, the servers are friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. The vegetarian pad Thai is amazing!

I had the shrimp green curry and a chocolate martini. The curry was flavorful and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The martini was really tasty. Great server.

After driving over 6 hours, I decided to make a stop in Brunswick, GA, and opted for a pick-up order at Basil Thai. Having been previously deployed to Brunswick in September 2023, I recalled the remarkable guidance and recommendations I received from Destiny, who had expertly assisted me in finding the safest and best vegan meals your restaurant had to offer.

Upon calling in my order, I was delighted to be connected with Destiny once again. Her warm and welcoming demeanor instantly made my day. Trusting her expertise, I ordered the ginger salad and Thai fried rice with pineapple, and Destiny took great care to ensure that both dishes were entirely vegan-friendly, free from any non-vegan ingredients.

The flavors and quality of the meal were simply impeccable. While I would have loved to dine in and savor the ambiance of your establishment, my furry companion was waiting for me in the car. Nonetheless, seeing Destiny in person after our previous phone interactions was a genuine pleasure. Her beauty, both inside and out, shines through in her outstanding customer service.

I must also mention that the ginger dressing for the salad is, hands down, the best I have ever tasted. It added a delightful and refreshing zing to the dish, making it an unforgettable part of my meal.

We were looking for a unique place to have dinner in Brunswick. Everywhere we called said there was a long wait and we didn't have that kind of time. We ended up Downtown at this amazing restaurant. Walked in and we were seated right away! Smelled wonderful!! Unusual menu, like a fusion of Thai and Japanese food. We ended up ordering a tray of sushi. We had no idea what it would be. It was absolutely delicious 😋!! We thoroughly enjoyed it. So glad we stumbled across it. We will definitely go again.

So lovely!! We split the duck with a side of noodles and could not have been more full after. The sauces are wonderful and the duck was crisp and moist. It was extremely busy and still the service and food was quick and wonderful.

The food here was absolutely amazing! So glad to find some diverse cuisine in Brunswick. The interior dining area is much bigger than it appears on the outside.

One of Brunswick's Best Kept Secrets!! The food vs the price is excellent. After reading several negative reviews I was a little skeptical. Needless to say I visited twice in the same week. The service was great as well as the food. The middle of the week is the best time to visit. It's great for a date night our family night. The only negative experience we had was they were out of a few menu items but to me this means they don't stock pile the fridge or serve much frozen food. My first visit was for a birthday party. I don't eat sushi but it looked great. My friend convinced me to try it on my second visit and it was better than expected. The sushi I tried was the Salmon Avocado & Cream Cheese. The Melon Cucumber Cool & Acai Blueberry Martini won't disappoint you. Even the restroom is nice and clean.
My pics are of the Cucumber Melon drink. Child's fried rice I used as a side because I like rice. My dishes were Stuffed Salmon with Crab and Salmon with veggies.

I’ve been here twice recently. The service, quailing of food and prices are amazing. I strongly suggest the fried oyster roll and crispy Flounder Hibachi Bowl!

Service not always 100% attentive but friendly. Fried rice was very good even though i will never understand why you serve a „fatty“ mayonnaise sauce along with it. Probably that’s just the American taste, as mayonnaise has nothing to do with this traditional dish

We've eaten here twice since arriving in Brunswick a couple of weeks ago and both meals were delicious! We've both had sushi, my husband had curry once Tonight we split a slice of Mango Keylime Pie with a little coconut in one layer-Superb!
Service was great both times. I highly recommend it.

I really love this place. I've been here a few times. They have seating for big groups and a bar. I have ordered the steamed dumplings, their tom kah soup, and on my most recent trip (today), I ordered the soft shell crab. I love how the flavors of the food are suttle but interesting and tasty. My crab had a bit of zest and spice to it due to the lemon curry. I was very impressed with the way the crab was cooked. Our server was super attentive and we had a great table by huge windows with natural sunlight coming in.

Great place for Thai food! Service was quick and very attentive. The manager checked in with us and made sure we were ok. They have great lunch specials. Big portions! You definitely get your money’s worth here. Also, my meal was delicious! Will come again soon.

Great service great atmosphere and great food............came back again to try this place and it's better than ever. Spicy tuna roll and pho noodle bowl was great.
