Thruway Shopping Center

I visited Dewey's in the Thruway Shopping Center, it's a must. Those Moravian Cookies, the Chess Pie, Pink Lemonade cake square and the Moravian Sugar Cake are amazing and pretty much what I purchase. I wish you could get the mini pies shipped but alas you have to go into the store for that. This place has so much to offer besides sweet treats, they have everything NC. Definitely worth a stop, you will not be disappointed.

Thruway has been a wonderful shopping destination for decades. Stores you love from Talbots, jcrew, large Hallmark, Hanes outlet store (always outstanding selection and prices), and more new stores are coming in. Upscale. Parking a little problem as this was an early strip mall.
Always go there when in Winston-Salem, and you have to go to Dewey's original location. Their signature sugar cake, cheese straws, wafer thin ginger spice cookies, and they carry all sizes of decorative tins for gifts or just for you. A destination all itself!

Great shopping center near downtown Winston Salem. I love the variety of shops like Kilwins, Trader Joes, Outdoor Provision, Chick-fil-A, Moe's, Dewey's, and more. This shopping area is well lit and safe at all times of day and they also have ♿ handicap accessible ramps, parking spots, and restrooms throughout.

I appreciate that upon walking in the store the person working in the store greeted us and asked us if we needed assistance. Customer service goes a long way with me. What cute ferret.

This shopping center has a lot of good shops to go to. Close to shopping has a steak house called flemmings which I hear from other people it is good but I never been. They also have PF changs in this area to which has good Chinese food, but both places are a bit expensive.

Went to my favorite place. Trader Joe's. I love this store. They are so friendly and helpful. I went there once a long time ago when my Mom and sisters came to visit . This lady and I were talking and I was telling her they were coming in and she went and handed me a bouquet of flowers that were on sale. She told me that she hoped it would bring smiles to everyone's face. That was so awesome. They will always get five stars from me. Their food is great too.

Great place to shop and has ample parking. Has a great variety of shops from food to hobbies to clothing.

Thruway Shopping Center has been a staple in Winston-Salem for as long as I can remember. While the stores have changed over time, the vibe, style and eclectic mix of shopping, highlights that there is something for everyone at Thruway Shopping Center. I highly recommend a stop at Dewey's Bakery for a sweet taste of homemade pride and history. For the adventure Lovers, I recommend Outdoor Provisions. For the sophisticated lady, you have to stop by White House Black Market and Talbot's. Of course there is always Trader Joes. I'd go on, but you'll just have to stop by and see it all for yourself.

I went to the FedEx store. I was able to fax some important paperwork for insurance. Easy to use. Helpful employees. Easy in and out. Printed confirmation fax and receipt. And on my way!

Just Had Lunch With My Big Sis At Chopt The Perfect Day For Lunch And A Salad Outside!!! Priceless...

My favorite place in the shopping center is Dewey‘s bakery I travel 43 miles just to get there.

I really enjoyed walking around the shopping center. There are a lot of cool smaller shops, as well as some neat staples for groceries and outlets.

Always clean and plus the best grocery store chain in the city for regular items HT.

Have many good shops here and Trader Joes!

The small has absolutely everything that you could hope for in your shopping experiences.

A bunch of nice shops including trader Joe's, an ice cream shop, shoe stores, pet supply store, etc.

If u haven't been to CHOPT.. u need to do so. It's fresh, organic and best quality salads etc.. 👍🏼💖 Yummm

I love Thruway shopping center I went there to get a smoothie at the juice bar for my daughter. It took them less than 5 minutes to make it. She loves them!

One of the oldest shopping centers in Winston but it still remains a vibrant one. There are some great stores and restaurants. During good weather, the whole center is hopping. You can tell that the clientele is middle to upper middle class. It feels relatively safe but I would still say stay aware as you move from store to store.

This property has been around for a long time. It has aged gracefully. It is still valid as if it were built for today. Front parking for the store are cramped and many changes however the style and it is known for have not changed. Newer properties lack the character that this property has going for it. For myself I look forward to it's aging further and it's changes.
