Wonderful little independent bookstore! Staff is definitely knowledgeable and very friendly.

I just purchased four classic novels for $22.12. If that's not a great deal, I don't know what is! The place itself characterizes the definition of "bookstore," and the lady working was very sweet. Definitely recommend!

They don't have a ton of manga but they'll order anything you want! Very friendly staff too.

Such a cute little bookstore! My daughter and I had such a great time finding books for her here! The best part is when we go we bring some books that we don’t want anymore and get credit for them to use towards our purchase. It’s awesome! They have both used and new books and if they don’t have what you want, I’m sure they can get it. All the workers are super knowledgeable and helpful too! We love it here and it’s our go to for books always!

I just love this place! The owner is really nice and if she doesn't have something in stock she orders it for with text reminders with I so appreciate. The store its self is super cute, great selection, and the BEST part of it is the fat cat that lives there, she is both beautiful and sassy. I'll update this review with a photo when I pick up the books I just ordered later this week.

Great little bookstore. It has done a 180 since the owner came back from medical leave. The store is so much more organized and the staff a lot more friendly. I love going in an finding an old book I read as a child, or the latest books. If I don't know what to get, any of the employees help lead me in a new direction. I've found so many new authors this way. The prices definitely fit my budget and the 30% trade discount helps too.

I luv Rose's Bookhouse! It is a landmark here in OFallon! Wendy (owner) is a wonderful and very knowledgeable person to talk to if you are into reading. Fantastic selection of new and used books! I have spent literal HOURS there discussing plot lines, authors and life in general! She can also order books, if you want something they don't have in stock. Support your local businesses!!

Fantastic little bookstore! Don't see any like this anymore. Small and cozy but they have everything! Almost like a mini library. Friendly atmosphere and helpful clerks. A book lovers paradise. You must visit!

If someone had asked me, last week, to describe my ideal bookstore I would have described Rose’s Bookhouse by chance. Now that I have been there, if someone asks me that same question I would just take them there. Floor to ceiling books makes for an adventure if you like to dig around the way I do. Wendy, the staff working while I was there, was a joy a to talk to. I can’t recommend this store enough.

Always helpful knowledgeable about things located in the store. Friendly and lots to choose from.

If you like the smell and feel of old books this is the right place for you. Books also new and everything for sale at reasonable prices. You can get credits towards purchase by contributing more books to their awesome collection

Rose's has a great selection of used books. They also have a good selection of new books (popular titles). They will order books for you if they don't have them in the store. Good discount program if you trade in your used books. Friendly staff.

So many books! And what you can't find Wendy will order. I like to go to Rose's and look around I can spend hours there. Fair prices lots of variety and friendly service!

This is a sweet little shop overflowing with used, and a few new, books. They seem to specialize in the Fantasy/Sci Fi and Romance generas. Love their book sale/trade in program.

The place is absolutely packed with books. I got myself a book titled "under the dome" by Stephen King. A 1000 page book for only $13. Anybody that enjoys reading, I would recommend this place. There is a book for everyone.

This is my favorite place to go to find a hidden gem of a book, its so relaxing to look through all the books and the smell is amazing! When I'm stressed I just come here, it dosent solve my problems but boy does it sure make my head clear to actually think.

Rose's Bookhouse is the best place to buy and sell back books in O'Fallon, Mo. The owner Wendy is amazing! The entire crew is helpful and very knowledgeable. Their website offers a lot of information, including a link to sign up for a KOBO account to purchase Ebooks! If you want to pre-order or have them hold a book for you they do without questions! I have been going here for years and have never had a problem. As for the review of not going there 30 minutes before they close, that employee no longer works there. I have known her awhile, and she is not a nice person. Don't let her bad customer service stop you from visiting Rose's. You can even meet and play with Rosie the resident kitty!!! LOVE ROSE'S BOOKHOUSE!!!!
