My rental car got a flat tire. The tire light was on the entire time I had the car which was for a week. The car did not have a spare tire in the back. Even though I was near a tire shop, literally like a block away; I was advised that if I spent money on a tire outside of the company’s network, I would not be reimbursed, so I ended up waiting almost 30 min for a tow truck to down me 10 min down when I got a text from the tow company saying it would take the tow truck almost 3 hrs to reach me. I just drove the car on a flat tire the 10 min, I really didn’t care about damaging the tire any further at that point; that’s what insurance is for. I really could’ve gotten one of the 3 tire shops that I passed to changed the tire if a spare was even in the vehicle. This was not professional at all. If you rent from this comes make sure the car has a spare and the car has no mechanical issues. I was really negligent. I know better now. One last thing, the Pep Boys on Jonesboro Rd in Union City is slow! It took another 3 hrs to change a flat tire and I felt completely ignored I guess because I wasn’t a paying customer.

Please please read all reviews before you ever think about using Ameridrive, I made that mistake, and my hope is that you don’t make the same. I have similar experiences to the people who posted reviews, as far as, the poor condition of the vehicle, and miscellaneous charges. My deposit of $99 dollars have yet to be refunded, and it’s been well over a week. It’s extremely difficult to get someone on the phone, and they ask you to leave a message, but no one calls back, so why leave any message? The car I rented, would not start a half an hour after I picked it up as if they triggered the kill switch. I had it towed, and the only decent thing they did was approve a refund of the initial payment after a bunch of emails to HyreCar. Oh yeah, they tried to change me a cleaning fee, and gas fee for the 30 minutes I had it. Obviously I couldn’t put gas in the car because it was towed, and if it was unclean the auto repair place was responsible for any debris in the vehicle. Just read the reviews before you do business here, after which the decision is yours, you never know your experience may be different, let’s hope.

Warning: Do Not Do Business With This Company... If a zero rating was allowed I'd give it. I rented from this company for more than a month. The vehicle I originally booked wasn't available for pickup when I arrived I was given a lemon. The brakes were faulty and other mechanical problems were persistent. The advertised roadside service wasn't available when the provided number was dialed it rang several times then was disconnected and at other times canned music was played before disconnection. The same was true when the contact number was dialed.
The brakes were scrubbing, squealing, and presented a critical safety issue and the problem wasn't addressed until I contacted the Better Business Bureau & Federal Trade Commission, afterward, someone from Ameridrive contacted me almost immediately, and had me drive the vehicle with extremely faulty brakes to their South Cobb Pkwy location which was miles away for a quick-rigged fix that wasn't of professional standard. Furthermore, my bank card was double-billed, when I called an agent of the company and told him I would dispute the charges he threatened to block my account. The charges weren't reversed so I proceeded with that process, because I did so Ameridrive/Hyre Car blocked my account and threatened to report the car stolen on September 29, 2022. I spent almost $2,800 @62.81/day for the car I rented from this company with the intent to Door Dash, transportation to and from my place of employment, and for personal business. On the day the brakes were shoddily repaired I was promised a three-day credit for the days I couldn't Door Dash because of the problem with the brakes I never received it. This business primarily caters to people in the low-income bracket and could care less about their safety or well-being. I compare it to those rent-to-own furniture companies that rent furniture in lie-income-neighborhoods at excessive prices, although those companies probably provide better customer service overall. This company is a scam, steer clear.

They gave me a car with a bad radiator and they blame me for they excuses when the car was at pepboys for 6 days straight then I had to turn around and take it back because the car had a bad state of health battery . They also want me to pay the 6 days I wasn’t able to use the car when it was at pepboys in order to get a car swipe. I finally was able to book another rental but they wouldn’t let me use my refundable deposit from the last rental they wanted me to pay it over just for them to set up a pickup day when they close then they refunded me not even half of the money I paid for the new rental .

It took 5 hours to get my rental keys out the box. The day I go return the keys the transmission blew out and they made me pay for the tow. They said they will not reimburse me. How are y'all renting cars out with bad transmissions. 2019 Nissan Versa (white).

I used hyrecar to rent a vehicle and when I went to pick it up through Ameridrive the car windshield was nasty, the car itself shook once you accelerated past 70 which made me feel unsafe to use it for any rideshare app and when I brought it back the next day they gave me a car with low tire pressure and a blown front right passenger speaker. I brought that back the following day and was told I would receive a refund for the inconvenience yet here I am almost 2 weeks later NO REFUND for anything. I am disgusted and just want my money back.

Terrible company to do business with. I really wish if I had read the reviews about this company before I did business with them. As the other reviews stated... They WILL indeed rob you and compromise your bank account.
I vow to allow them to just get away with and take advantage of people as they've been doing. I spent over $4000+deposit for a rental and when I tried returning the rental, there was no one present to turn in the key and I couldn't reach customer service for instructions. They overdrafted my account and refused to speak to me although I made numerous attempts to connect with them. Their practices is unethical, down right fraudulent and I vow to make them be held accountable for their actions. Absolutely the worst experience ever they will rob you for your money keep charging you from the hyre car app. And they will charge you extra just because they are being petty. The way how they handle in business is horrible and unprofessional. Advice buy your own car. They will continue charging you without you having the car in your possession due to lack of communication like a customer service and hidden fees that they don't tell you about I'm very disgusted this is very unacceptable I hope the CEO Mr Hernandez sees this.

I suggest you believe the bad reviews. I tried twice and the second time was even worse lol. No communication, cars in horrible shape, ect....Take a long time to get key out of box.

Horrible company to rent a car from, they charge you daily, and when u take the car back they don’t give you your full deposit, make dumb excuses of why they can’t give you your money back, the car they gave me had bad riders , two tires had no hub caps, I will never rent from them again, this place needs to be shut down.

This is the worst company . They do not help you when you need it . The day I got the car it was not working & no one was able to help . I just have nothing else to say.
