The Livery Restaurant & Saloon

Second visit with a number of years in between. KFC was great and huge. Others enjoyed two different salads. We ate at the bar with friendly service. I generally ask for recommendations. Too many times I’m told what is popular. Here I was told what was good, what the server liked, and she asked me what I was looking for. This is what should always happen. Take a walk around to see some of the interesting decor in the other rooms.

The Livery is one of my favorite spots to visit when I’m in Eau Claire! They have tons of mixed seating indoors and outdoors, their menu always has diverse offerings that appeal to anyone, and their vibe is simultaneously hip and low-key.

On our most recent visit, we found a spot outdoors after a workout at Latitude 44 Yoga next door. We were offered plenty of water, refreshments upon our arrival, and the food was beautiful and nourishing! We ended the night with a stroll through Phoenix Park, which was a su lute spring bliss!

The Livery has a great laidback vibe. They have a unique menu that offers a good variety. I recommend their salads which have great homemade dressings. The patio is a great place for a bonfire and to enjoy a drink on a summer evening.

Wonderful change of pace. Really good Korean fried chicken. Wanted to try some other things too because it all sounded good! Highly recommend!

This is the first time we came here. The food was excellent. They offered wauygu burgers. My husband said that it was so flavorful and delicious. The service was awesome! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a good experience and some good food!

Wow! We had a great time at The Livery. Our server was very attentive and helpful describing beers and menu items. We had cheese curds as an appetizer. Very good, top ten for us. Our entrees were all delicious; Bahn Mi, KFC, and Pesto Chicken. A side of sweet potato tots with a unique dipping sauce rounded it out. Just an awesome time.

They have some awesome soup in the winter months. Smash burger Tuesdays 🍔 omg changes weekly. Rotates thru them. Love them. The big mick is so much better than a big Mac. 🔥😋

We (2 parents and 1 child) stopped at The Livery on our way back to Stevens Point based on location and good reviews. We were not disappointed! This restaurant has so many great things going for it. The host that seated us was very pleasant and personable. Our server, Josh, was great! He also was very friendly and timely with getting our drink order and then main order. While we were reading the menu, we saw that the restaurant is a living wage restaurant, which makes me so happy! We still tipped because the service and food was so good. Goes to show how paying a living wage can influence the product. Between the three of us, we had two pesto chicken sandwiches, one Livery Burger, a mixed green side salad, and sweet potato tots served with a yummy cinnamon honey dip that was just so... Yummy! The burger, ordered medium, did in fact come medium and was super juicy. The salad had real greens with arugula. The ranch dressing was super flavorful. The pesto chicken was amazing and juicy. They had a limited but diverse menu that even vegetarians would be happy with. Lots of healthy and unique choices, even with their burgers (choice of beef, turkey, or vegetarian for my burger).

The food and the atmosphere were on the edge of being a college bar/restaurant. We had a lovely waitress who delivered quick accurate service with a smile. The food was good and the prices were very reasonable. We went in for wing Wednesday where its unlimited wings with no other silly purchases necessary. I have no complaints about the time I spent there. It was quite busy and it took a little longer than expected for our food but we weren't in a hurry. Somewhere you could easily bring your kids and not fear for their safety or sanity. Overall 9/10 would recommended.

Fabulous ambiance, particularly the upstairs (which I believe is only open Tuesdays and weekends). Great assortment of games (pool, darts, pinball, and other video arcade games). There's also a bar upstairs. Was very impressed with the friendliness and service of the bartender. Drinks were slightly on the weak side (Moscow mule). Prices are still very reasonable given the quality of the atmosphere.

The Livery is amazing! Love their Sangria - a must get! We enjoyed some onion rings - golden and crispy served with a special dipping sauce. The rings in Eau Claire!

Excellent food choices. Great service

Seriously this place is incredible. Just a gem. Literally everything was great and perfectly Prepared. Service outstanding. KFC Chicken, Sweet Potato Tots and Mediterranean salad w/ Salomon were all perfect. I live in Seattle and the salmon was more properly cooked than 90% of restaurants there. Stop reading this and just go!!

I live on the east coast but this restaurant is a must stop whenever I visit family in Wisconsin. The decor and atmosphere is fun and festive. Love the fried cheese curds! The beer selection is good with some unique drafts. We had the fish tacos and brisket at a recent visit, both of which were tasty. There was also some fun people watching on a Saturday night!

Amazing appetizers and food. Waiter Jax was informative and attentive to timing of drinks and food. Recommend any of the Korean dishes especially the KFC Korean BBQ on the soba noodle salad.
Good beer and wine selection. Atmosphere is comfortable.. Tip included in prices.

Had drinks outside on the patio. Very interesting combinations of great tasting craft cocktails with top notch service. Tips are included in the price so they can pay their workers a fair wage. Thumbs up all around!

Good food and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) or Fish and Chips! Fun game room upstairs.

Ok this place has to be my new favorite go to in Eau Claire. I can't wait to go back again and enjoy the good food, yummiest cheese curds and drinks. This place has a good vibe and the service is outstanding. This place gets crowded in the evening especially on Friday and weekends so I would suggest to make a reservation . Everything is great about this place. I just can't wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our dinner on the outdoor patio. The grilled chicken pesto is a MUST TRY!
