Mac Lab | Bakery & Cafe

I absolutely adore the decor and the concept of the cafe. Loved the atmosphere and the staff was welcoming and kind. The coffee was good. We only got the Earl grey, vanilla, and coffee macaroons and they were good and the taste was subtle.

This place is the perfect euphemism for the ending of my previous marriage, a delightful surprise. Don't get me wrong, my ex wife and I both knew it was over for quite some time, but for the kids I was willing to stick it out, and I didn't think she'd be selfish enough to just abandon them either, but what can I say part if me always knew she was a selfish prude from the beginning. I guess if I really thought about it, it's just a matter of being young and dumb. She's of course, now gone from young and dumb to old and dumb, so good luck with that, Rick! Anywho, back to thr macarons, a pleasant surprise indeed. As far as how this place differs from my previous marriage I'll say this. when you arrive here you're greeted with a delectable aesthetic (not a disdainful alcoholic), you'll see a colorful and punctilious display, (not colorful language and professions of personal dereliction) and most importantly, the macarons taste great! (unlike the vodka soaked kisses of a grown adult child who thinks she's some modern day princess). I would totally recommend Mac lab to everyone just as vehemently as I would not recommend anyone entangle with the wretch I once called my betrothed. It's truly a gem, best sweets in a plaza next to Hansel and gretel bakery and Mozart bakery. Going here for a sweet treat and a good time is a no Brainer, just like somebody I used to know.

Such a beautiful little store with some of the best macarons! Was such a delight to finally get the chance to stop by, as it’s been on my go to’s for quite some time now. Customer service was excellent and so was the Iced Matcha Latte, my son and I were so happy, we couldn’t wait to get home to eat our macarons! 10/10 recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Things you should know:
I. LOCATION
Within the Mall Corners Shopping Center. There's convenient private parking out front of the plaza. And it's free ~ can't get easier than that.
II. SERVICE
No complaints. Everyone was friendly.
III. QUALITY
The macarons are fresh and buttery. They're not flakey, not frozen, and not crunchy/dry. Usually, I lean towards baked flavors like Chocolate, Salted Caramel, etc. but I genuinely enjoyed the fruity options at Mac Lab more. Rose & Lychee and Guava were my favorites; I highly recommend them.

Plenty of available seating for a Thursday mid-afternoon

Wonderful small bakery experience. Small, but comfortable tables and chairs. Clean and open atmosphere. Staff is friendly. The coffee is always on point. Delicious no matter what type you get. The macarons are divine. They have a decent amount of set flavors and then shuffle through seasonal ones. I will continue going back!

Best price for amazing macarons in the area local to me. Second time visiting, dining in. Paired my macarons today with an iced lavender latte. If you’re looking for a lovely tea house / café styled experience, this is it. Soft atmosphere. Delicate flavors. Wonderful textures. A genuine place for soft conversation and sensory contemplation while enjoying your order.

Please note: The macarons and drinks are subtle flavors. You will not get overly sugary treats here. And in my opinion, that’s what makes Mac Lab stand out so beautifully compared to other macaron bakeries.

I love Mac Lab! It is so cute and the macarons are amazing! I recommend the vanilla, but all of them are great. They also have coffee which is good and pairs well with the sweet treats. It's one of my favorite spots to go. It is always clean and has good lighting.

I immediately felt like I was transported to Europe. The displays of Macarons are absolutely amazing. The Cafe has plenty of seats and is very clean. The customer service is off the charts! Very Professional and Very Friendly Staff. The coffee tasted so fresh and the Macarons are absolutely amazing. Honestly Mac Lab Bakery&Cafe rates five stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ and more! I have visited this amazing Cafe only once and will be returning again soon. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland and have traveled all the United States and all over the world with the US Marines. I definitely know a great coffee shop from all my travels. This Cafe ranks up very high of Cafes I have visited. If you are visiting the Atlanta area I highly recommend visiting Mac Lab Cafe&Bakery. You definitely won’t be disappointed and I guarantee you will want to make a return visit!

I had had macaroons before and never thought they weren’t that great... and then i had these. I really enjoyed their ice cream and their guava macaroons. They are also so pretty to look at. The place is very Instagram-y so people are always ready to do photo shoots of the food and the restaurant decor. I highly recommend!

Great shop. Smells that'll take your breath away. Desserts are moderately price. Workers are kind and the place is nice enough to sit in and daydream. Wi-Fi, Doordash and Grubhub. Definitely come or have it delivered.

Absolutely fantastic macarons, beautifully decorated and exquisitely fluffy. Tea flavors, floral flavors, fruit flavors, and some specials including Fruity Pebbles, Oreos, and Bailey's. The iced latte we got was great too.

Complete perfection! There are a variety of flavor options, and the atmosphere of the place invites you to come stay for a while. The macaroons are amazing, and they have such flavors of guava, passion fruit, and Nutella. They also have drinks like coffee with whey-friendly options like oat milk. I got lemonade, and they have multiple flavors of that as well. If you are on Pleasant Hill, do yourself a favor and stop here. You'll be super happy you treated yourself!

Best macarons I’ve ever had! As a bonus the latte was absolutely splendid. The shop itself is so cute and a nice atmosphere to relax and hang out with family or friends!

If you want basically the best macarons in the Atlanta metro area, look no further. This is the place to go. Get your wallet ready cuz you're going to want every flavor they sell especially the specialty ones that's usually some super cute character. Often they'll have other treats too which to me my favorite thing here was their amazing matcha cheesecake. Give this place the business they deserve!

Update: They are still the best! Just ordered some for a party. Not only did they taste great, but they were beautiful. They made the ordering process easy. I didn't even have to look at them when I picked them up because I trust Mac Lab's quality! Also the coffee is great too!
Best macarons around!!!!

This place has never disappointed. Macarons are my favorite and I can't help myself every time I go I *have* to get one of each. I've not found a place that does better macarons! The outside shell is perfectly crispy, the interior is soft but not too chewy and the fillings have the best flavors!

They sometimes have some special ones that are totally worth trying. I think some day I will sit inside as their coffee was pretty good too. I'd love to try other things on the menu, but the macarons are definitely the star of the show!
