I’ve been in a mood for ox tail for a long time and was having a hard time finding a good Jamaican restaurant to fit my need until I found this place. It’s a small restaurant but I can tell they stay busy because of quality of food. I ordered oxtail rice beans and cabbage and my girlfriend decided to try the curry chicken. Our food was very flavorful and we enjoyed every bite, definitely suggest to people who want some good Jamaican food!

I've been eating at Kool Running since they were on Memorial Drive in the early 2000s. They moved and I couldn't find them for a few years. I finally found them by luck in 2016 and have been eating here again every since. They've catered my work events, my baby showers and my children's birthday parties. The food is always fresh and very good!!!

I stumbled across this place on accident and boy am I glad I did. Upon entering, it was quite busy and I see why now. The hospitality of the staff were so warm and welcoming. It was my first time there so the lady at the front (who seems like the owner) let me sample some dishes before making my decision. The pasta is freaking amazing and the jerk chicken reminded me of my college days with my Jamaican roommate. I got the oxtail and it was DELICIOUS. My gosh. I’ll definitely be back more often. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

Ordered delivery on UberEats and it was so worth it. Prices a bit higher than the average Caribbean/Jamaican restaurant but the food was sooo good. I reheated the pasta and half of the salmon the following day and it was even more delicious. I also ordered coco bread and I'd give it a 3/5. I'll definitely be ordered again. Give it a try.

UPDATE 2020, So I came here 5 years ago, and 5 years later the food is still amazing and the people are still so kind! I stopped in to pick up some classic dishes with my daughter, oxtail, ackee and a kids plate of stew chicken (yes that's a kids plate lol) Listen, I don't know what they put in that stew chicken, but it's hands down the best I've ever had IN.MY.LIFE! I'll definitely come back again hopefully sooner then later. One of the best Jamaican gems in the city if you ask me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Vacation from Richmond Va, wanted some curry goat. It was tender and delicious. Need to come to Va and show them how to make it right!! Next time I’m in Georgia, I will be coming again. Just excellent!!!

Have no idea where to start but this place is a gem. Nevermind the surroundings of this place when you go inside it looks amazing! You can tell it's not that generic wanna be Jamaican place where they let the food just stay under the heating lamps. No! They bring the food from the kitchen after you order. I always test a Jamaican place by their Stew Chicken. If you messed that up you shouldn't be open for business. Kool Runnings hit this out of the park! So good! I got my mom some Jerk Chicken Wings but now I want to eat that too and maybe go order another for her! The customer service is great. Nice people! I can't wait to go back. I went to this place on my lunch break with my friend and after the first taste we could careless about work! Normally, getting food like this you want to enjoy at home. But how good it was we didn't care where we were. It definitely brightened our day. Thank you Kool Runnings!

I came in and ordered from here today and the food was absolutely amazing!!! Very clean atmosphere and great customer service. If you’re in the area give them a try! 10/10 highly recommend!

I had oxtail, rasta pasta, and rice and beans. Let me tell you something…chefs kiss okay? Everything was flavorful and delicious. Will definitely order from here again!!

I love this gem of a restaurant!! Great oxtail dish with greens, rice and peas, and plantains hits the spot!! And the Jamaican beef patty and coco bread is on point!! Love this restaurant!

Because we had a bad experience at IHOP, we were blessed to find this dope Jamaican spot whose food will leave you dreaming about it and wake up wanting more. The Curry Chicken and white rice and the Rasta Pasta was ordered and both were delicious. Please try the Rasta Pasta!!

I am a Pescatarian and their Brown-stewed Snapper fish was very good! I appreciate the service from Marsha, Gail, and the gentleman chef (very soft-spoken voice). Marsha took the time to hear my prior issues and made my food with love. Check out their event on August 5th.

I recently used Kool Runnings to cater my daughter’s Baby shower. The staff was on top of making sure my order was right. I had the jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, Rasta pasta, rice and peas and plantain and everything was delicious! The guests loved the food and kept asking where it come from.

Friendly staff, assured to make sure the food was hot and fresh before making the plates. The jerk chicken has a great spice to it! Very pleased with my visit here

My daughter and I went here today. Usually go to Caribbean Fiesta in Alpharetta but they were closed. Googled the closed Jamaican restaurant , this came up. Wow, wow, wow we were not disappointed. We both ordered Ox tails rice and peas. I had the collards as a side my daughter had cabbage, we both had plantains. Well seasoned and utterly delicious. And the collards were perfect. All I can say is this is our new spot. You will not be disappointed trust me.
