Been looking for a natural hair salon to cut & maintain my TWA & I must say Texturz is God sent. I felt my hair was in pretty bad shape & I'm pretty sure most, if not all women know that if our hair ain't right we don't feel right. My stylist Michelle is just an amazing & genuine soul. Her energy, conversation, knowledge, positivity, & reinforcements were very refreshing and not to mention a very talented stylist. The entire salon had an amazing energy, vibe, & aura. Thanks again Michelle, I am looking forward to my hair journey with you.

I love this studio! This is the only shop I trust with my curly hair. Michelle delivers excellent service every-time I come. She is a wizard with color! She focuses on the health of my hair along with what I want as a client.

I took my daughter to Texturz and was extremely impressed with the service . Michelle is an expert and spent reasonable time to assess and diagnose the type of care my daughter's hair would require. To sum it up I've lived in both Europe and North America and have very rarely seen such diligence to hair care. I was exceptionally satisfied with the service. Well done 👏 and most importantly my teenage daughter was satisfied.

Ive been several times and have had a great experience! Appointments were on time, salon is clean and designed nicely, atmosphere is pleasant. I have natural hair and i got a silk press. i was in and out! Good products used. I think the focus is more on healthy hair and not just the latest greatest style.Michelle did my hair. My mom gets her locs maintained here.

Amazing experience, Michelle was so kind and actually took the time out to educate me about my hair type and texture. You can tell she is passionate about hair and that she takes her time. 10/10 recommended this salon, the atmosphere was beautiful as well

I have been taking my daughter here for years. My daughter has natural hair and is also tender-headed. It was hard to find someone to be patient with her. Mrs Sonya is our go to stylist, she’s so patient and kind. She is absolutely amazing. But you really cannot go wrong with either stylist. They are all really good and very kind. Mrs. Michelle is very knowledgeable and honest. She’s extremely kind and she always makes us feel welcomed and comfortable each visit.

Michelle was professional from start to finish. I was introduced to all professionals that work in her salon and treated with respect during my visit. The best part was that Michelle started my services right away; I didn't have to wait around. I walked out very satisfied and within a reasonable time frame. I'll definitely be back again :-)

I cant speak highly enough about the owner Michelle as my stylist. After years of my hair being ruined by Dominican salons, I am so glad I found Michelle. She was able to restore and grow my hair back to a healthy state. My hair is thriving even with a relaxer and bleach! She is an absolute professional and is very knowledgeable in the filed. My neighbor recommended this salon to me last summer and this place is exactly what I needed for my hair care needs. Michelle and the ladies are welcoming and courteous to clients and treats everyone with respect as soon as you walk through the door. Michelle is the best hairdresser I have ever been to. She colored my hair and I love it. She is very knowledgeable about hair and she took the time to educate me about how well to take care of my hair. Her salon is clean and what I love most about her is how profesdional she is. Daijya gave me the best silk press I had in years! She is very knowledgeable about hair and how much heat to use to prevent damage. She is also very gently with natural/curly hair! She is kind, and professional. I had a great experience with her. I have finally found my forever stylist! The owner Michelle is an excellent stylist also. She cut my hair in its natural state. I was very impressed with the outcome after it was straightened. These women are awesome! I'm so in love with my hair again. Thanks Daijya!

I was very pleased with my first visit 5 weeks ago. I waited to leave a review to see if Michelle was consistent. She surely as been great for me. My first visit she gave me a pixie cut,which I've never had hair that short. She made a professional decision that my hair was thin and had damage from braids. As I read the negative reviews about her chopping hair off. I have to wonder if some women just really don't like their hair period and are only happy with weaves. Also as far a pricing goes ASK before. I will finish with this my hair is healthier and styles last longer since going to her. I always leave happy!

From the consultation with Michelle to my appointments she make sure that only high quality hair products are recommended and used on my hair. They do not over book, so you.dont waste an entire day at.the shop. You.dont sit under the dryer for.hours . Very clean and professional atmosphere. I loved my Experience!!! This was my first time ever going to a professional hair salon that wasn’t family. And my experience was awesome! My stylist, Jonaya did an awesome job. Not with just my hair but making sure I felt comfortable. We had good conversation as well. I felt welcomed by the staff as soon as I walked in and I loved how they greeted their regulars by name and treated them like family. I will definitely be going back.

I really love this shop. Everyone is very professional, personable and friendly. I really like that each stylist has there own specialty. They all specialize in thinning hair if that is your issue. I personally needed a stylist that worked with natural hair and braiding. Daija is my stylist and she does such a great a job.

Michelle/Owner and her team are amazing!! I received the best service and loved the warm atmosphere. Michelle is not scissor happy, which is rare, and gives you just what you want. Christina-stylist in training, gave me the best shampoo!

I was recommended to Texturize Salon by someone who get their natural hair done there. My experience was AWESOME! My appointment was for 4 p. I arrived on time and upon entering the salon I was greeted by Michelle. She also was my stylist for that day and did an AMAZING job on my hair! Very positive energy and knowledgeable about hair care! Spoke with another stylist there and she too was very nice! I've been with Michelle at Texturz since 2006, when I first moved here from the DC Metro Area. From day one, she and I hit it off and I knew right away she would be my stylist for life! She's passionate about what she does and she cares deeply for her clients. On top of that, she's an amazing stylist who cares for hair in such a progressive way. She stands behind her work and makes sure the other stylists in the salon are top notch. I also love Sonia who's helping me navigate my way through grad school right now with crochet braids. I highly recommend Texturz! I love the vibe and I love the people!
