Burke St Pub

Definitely a cool dive bar type spot in the heart of winston-salem. I was staying overnight and went there based on other reviews that I had saw. The guy that served me behind the bar was really cool and chill to talk to. I don't recall his name but he's been there for quite a few years. When I first went in there was me and maybe three other people in there but by the time the game was over the college crowd started to pour in. Lively spot in a good place to go. Drink prices for reasonable and even the patrons that I was around were very friendly. Another bartender came in later in the evening I'm guessing to provide additional coverage for the crowd. She was pretty friendly as well and I'd go back just for her lol!

We held a private birthday party at Burke St Pub. We had a blast approx 20 people attended. The bartender Kayla was phenomenal. She kept up and made sure everyone who needed a cocktail or beer had what they needed. She was also very nice and helpful.

Cold drinks, great atmosphere, and couldn't loose a game of pool if we tried.

A staple. Great specials. Love the staff. Tons of regulars to hang out with

The Establishment is a great and even still, time tested stamp of superior quality, service and just mama's house at any given dining. The food, the preparation of presentation thru all spectrum of the service industry is the unspoken and recognized industry standard!!

Mark and the rest of the staff at BSP are great! Attentive and friendly. Very casual, relaxing atmosphere. The “garage door” that opens to the parking lot is good during hot weather and the outside deck is nice.
And they have a calico “bar cat”, how cool is that? Fun place to see live music.

First time here, and it was very positive!

By the far the best bar I’ve been to in Winston-Salem. They have every game you’d want to ply at a fun dive bar (board games, darts, pool, ring toss, ping pong, the list goes on..) and the staff is amazing! Best vibes of any bar I’ve been to in so long

I had a awesome time 2-16-19! It was my born day and I got wasted! Met friends and had a awesome time with people who love me!

This is my home bar. I love this place. The staff is friendly and the drinks are always good. They allow outside food in and they always have music playing. Pool tables, outdoor bar/smoking area, TVs, juke box, generally clean restrooms (at least the women's, I can't speak on the men's). 💚🖤💚🖤
Update: Since Covid they clean even more regularly than before, but otherwise still a great atmosphere and generally the same feeling. I still love this place!

Asked the bartender for peach schnapps which they did not have. She came up with an amazing fruity drink as an alternative that was so much better. Always a relaxed, friendly atmosphere here. We love the ping pong table and the bar out back!

I had a great time! The outside patio was relaxing and I enjoyed meeting new people. They had two bars a gaming area and a small dance floor. It would be a great place to hang out with friends.

Homey local dive, with real dart boards, game machines and pool table. Occasional live music. Back outdoor patio. Great down-to-earth crowd.
Great (not a huge selection) tap lineup. I highly recommend the Red Oak!

Kayla is an incredible bartender. Friendly, pays attention to her customers, and enjoys her job.

The bar is one of the better dives I've been to in years. Indoor/outdoor seating, diverse crowd, cheap drinks, TVs, dark.

Love this place, old timey/local bar feel. A lot bigger than you think. Has an upstairs with a deck area for the good weather. Not overpriced, great bartenders.

You will not regret coming to BSP! The atmosphere is amazing and you will always have a great time. Friday and Saturday's are the best time to go. Bouncers and bartenders are super sweet.

Burke St Pub, my first experience. I took my girlfriend here to have a few drinks, listen to some music and talk. Here's how it went;

We were asked for ID at the door, which to me is a positive sign, an assurance that this business is taking being responsible serious and is mindful of the law. The manner in which this was done was also fun and curtious, and left us feeling like we were in a friendly environment.

The drinks were prepared pretty swiftly despite it being a somewhat busy evening, and the two bartenders present seemed in good spirit and appeared to be working hard, the kind of professionals you'd expect in a setting like this one. We chose a booth for added privacy and spent about an hour and a half inside it.

I noticed on several occasions that security was an obvious presence, and rather than being simply intimidating looking or stationary, they were active and jovial, looking both fun and capable. In today's climate this is a huge thing, it's not uncommon not for regular people to have concerns about going out at night, so anything business like this can do to alleviate those concerns in a way that isn't militant is nice.

We're probably going to go here again sometime, we left and walked downtown, up until 5 enjoying our lives, and that kught started with Burke St Pub.

Very friendly and quick moving staff! Don't understand why people have to put negative comments if you just stick to the code it's a great atmosphere to come and drink! Always a great crowd with 3 different floors! Been alot and never had any problems..
