SpringHill Suites by Marriott Atlanta Airport Gateway

We stayed a few nights while attending the 2024 Passion Conference. We initially had 3 rooms booked, but one of our two queen rooms was unavailable when we checked in. The front desk staff was able to rearrange the rooms so that we were fully accommodated. The rooms were well appointed and clean and they had a great bathroom layout with separate toilet and shower spaces. Breakfast was quite good for a hotel breakfast. And the location is very close to the airport. We didn't fly, but I believe it's accessible by the sky train. All in all, a great place to make your home base while traveling in Atlanta.

We were plopped here from the airport with a voucher. And it was amazing, very clean and the staff was very kind. The rooms were super clean and very cozy. Had a great night/early morning sleep. Would definitely come back. I also love having to use the room card to have electricity, that's really cool. Also, the breakfast was really good as well. Thank you all the way from Oklahoma.

Great Hotel by the airport, clean, quiet and comfortable. Watch out for parking $$40.00$$ a night! Atlanta Airport West Deck right across parking lot $16 a day. Great staff made for good stay.

Long overdue review - I spent a 2-3 day layover in Oct 2023 at SpringHill Suites by Marriott near the Atlanta Airport, and it was an excellent choice! The location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw from the ATL Skytrain, making getting to the domestic airport super easy. The rooms are spacious, perfect for working and unwinding. The breakfast buffet is a real treat, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. If you're on a layover in Atlanta and need a convenient, comfortable place to stay with great amenities, this is definitely the spot!

This hotel was great and conveniently located near the airport! You are able to take the tram right from the airport to the hotel area which is great! No need to sped money on an Uber! The male at the check in desk was very nice and the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable.

I had trouble with my reservation and Marriott Customer Service was not able to help me, however, Tony at the hotel was very helpful! He was able to help me no problem and because of him I will stay loyal to Marriott. Thank you, Tony for putting my mind at ease and I am now looking forward to the trip to Atlanta!

I come down a few times a year to the GICC, and so far, this is my favorite place to stay on the trips. Friendly staff, clean rooms, decent free breakfast. Rates are generally pretty good, also.

Jamilla working Thursday evening was very professional...helpful, friendly, informative. Found us a better open room after a bit of searching as a nearly full hotel then. Got us extra towels and sheets for sofa bed use. Nice rooms just be aware toilet flush loud. She also Explained the airport train to us as it was new to us . The women in charge of breakfast were friendly, had good food, and constantly keeping the area and floor clean. We need to appreciate people with good work ethic. God bless those women!

Easy to get to from the airport with free train. Nice room, friendly staff. Has complimentary breakfast off the lobby. Dining options nearby for other meals.

Obviously the best location. But the hotel is so modern and nice! The rooms are spacious and TONY!!! Is amazing and looked so sharp in his suit. He gave us lots of details about our room, rates and parking. His woman colleague was great and funny too. Then to top it off I left my phone at the front desk. He ran and tracked us down parking in the back to give it to me before he went home. I appreciate him for this! A lot of people now don’t go above and beyond for their job but I saw multiple people come up to him and he helped them as best he could AND some. Both people at the front desk while he was working (I didn’t get the lady’s name but I’m pretty sure she’s a manager her name was too small on the name tag) Wonderful staff you have here. Even if the rooms were not very nice, it would make up for it in service. Edit to add: as I was finishing this up I left it on hold to go downstairs to ask about the A/C. She helped so much by changing it from downstairs and gave us extra blankets as well! We were all so appreciative of the customer service we have received here it’s unbelievable!

Rooms were clean and taken care of, but walls are a little thin. Was able to hear my neighbors talking on the phone, although they were admittedly rather loud. Complimentary breakfast was actually pretty good, and changed day by day which was nice. Great service with very friendly staff. Being very close to the airport is nice, it's a short ride on the sky train, and half a block from the drop off point.

Great location for Atlanta airport. Easy access via the airports Sky Tram. We rented a car and then drove 3 minutes to the hotel. It would have been just as easy to pick up the car in the morning via the tram. 1st night parking was free so we were happy with our decision. Rooms were very clean. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.
Special and an extra big thank you to the breakfast staff!! They were extremely pleasant and helped me put together plates for my sleeping kids before they shut down breakfast. Very very kind ladies!! We stayed just one night before continuing on our journey. We would stay again.

A newer hotel. Easy access from airport via train. No food options in this hotel but there are three restaurants within a block or two.

My fiancé and I have had such amazing experiences here! We both have food allergies and there was super yummy gluten-free and dairy free options at breakfast in the morning. Being so close to the airport, the free shuttle takes you there and back. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the bed is super comfortable. What really made our experience even better though was the service. Jordan at the front desk is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet and so funny. She makes the check in process easy and made our entire day. 12/10 recommend staying here!

This is the best 3-star hotel breakfast buffet I’ve ever had, and that’s my main metric for a hotel. The coffee is actually good! They say it’s “Bold”— it’s dark roast and strong/concentrated. No weak coffee here! They have Chobani yogurt, and an oatmeal bar that has things like peach compote and candied pecans. I put the compote and pecans on my yogurt. I think the eggs were real (not powdered), and they have cheese and salsa and other sauces to go on them. I think the switch out the egg styles regularly. They had premade waffles that were tasty, and of course pastries and cereal. There’s no dinner restaurant in this hotel but the Marriott and Renaissance are literally across the street so you could go there for drinks and dinner.

The accommodations were also quite nice, clean and modern and everything I need. Including a Smart TV that I can watch my Netflix on. I would definitely stay here again.

I'm a local to Atlanta, having lived here before. This was a convenient hotel, right off the sky tram at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. It was super easy to get to, especially if you don't need a rental car. It's easily accessible to MARTA (the public transit). It's in a quiet location.
The room was superb and my request for something close to the elevator was granted easily. The staff is extremely friendly and was amazing with information for visitors. The only weird thing to me was the layout of the room, especially the bathroom. Otherwise, a very enjoyable stay. Will stay here again and again.

Stayed here as an option from Delta after some issues with a flight. Insanely convenient with access by SkyTram from the ATL airport. The room was actually very, very nice. We arrived at 11pm and found the hotel to be very clean, the room was ample sized, and the front desk gave us a lot of late night delivery options (most of which accepted Delta food vouchers we received due to our missed flight). Made a bad situation enjoyable. Great service, amazingly convenient, and very quiet despite being right beside the airport. Definitely recommend on a layover.

TIP: buy food at the airport before you get here. My flight was delayed so stayed a night. The staff was super friendly, rooms was fresh and very clean. Highly recommend it.

I had to buy a charger and get a lyft. Front desk clerk was accommodating and helpful.
