Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway

Very much enjoyed my stay. So easy to get to and from airport. That itself warrants 5 stars. I left this morning at 1015 and was checking into delta kiosk by 1030. Lobby is clean and nice and I found the rooms modern and clean. Champs is a terrible sports bar but that is not the fault of the hotel. I ended up ordering room service and it was exceptionally fast and tasty. The Starbucks coffee from the lobby store was perfect.

Perfectly located when flying out of Atlanta! Love the fact that you could just hop on the train and go directly to the airport without worrying about traffic and parking. When I arrived at the hotel valet took my car I paid for parking and they made sure my eBay it was fully charged when I returned 10 out of 10

I had a great experience here. I got in late from an international flight and was exhausted. I used my digital key, so I was able to go straight to my room. I ordered room service, which arrived quickly, and I had a wonderful interaction with the lady who delivered the food and drink. Then I was able to get a great night's sleep and got out in plenty of time to take the skytrain back to the airport for my early morning flight. I will absolutely be back here for another visit.

Rooms are elite, service is something that I haven’t seen in a long time, it’s that good and if u read my other reviews I am very critical but truthful.
The staff here are really wonderful.
The room is far beyond what I was expecting so close to the airport but I’m glad I ended up here because I feel very rested for my flight that was delayed by 15 hrs.

This might possibly be the best airport hotel that I’ve ever stayed in. Don’t get me wrong - it’s nothing fancy, but it just works. Get there on the skytrain, rooms are nice and quiet, bedding is good and comfortable. Service is friendly and helpful, especially as we had a couple days of business meetings in the hotel. All went well and without a single hitch! I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for lodging around the Atlanta airport.

Everything was very good at the hotel. Front desk, the people who assisted us, rooms were clean, linens too, comfortable and very quiet for good rest.
Patricia and Olga were the best assistants from the hotel staff. I was truly pleased of my stay here. Very recommended

As a frequent traveler to the ATL airport, I prefer this GCC hotel over the others at the stop. Mobile key is a clutch feature for late or early arrivals and the rooms look modern without being stark.

The location is great. It's close to the airport for more convenience. The service is okay. It's kind of chaotic because there's a lot of people when we come in there.

Bottom Line: Coffee is meh; everything else is outstanding!

Front Desk: Really friendly/helpful/warm (Jordan)

Room: Spacious, updated, lots of charging, quiet

Bed: Too firm for my taste (like most Marriotts) but soft linens

Shower: Good pressure and volume, soft water, soft towels, amazing essential oil soap products (I took a pic to see if I can buy it online). Related note: name brand TP! Don't see that often!

In-room Coffee: Meh; not congruent with the outstanding nature of everything else. It's the sad "tea bag" drip coffee. Management, I recommend you replace this with Keurig at a minimum but ideally Nespresso for a really excellent experience. Or consider one of those automatic espresso machines for the lobby since the coffee shop down stairs does not open until 6. Jordan at the front desk rolled out a Keurig for me, which was really appreciated, but espresso should be easily accessible at a fine hotel, and the nearest I could find was at the airport.

Airport Access: Very short walk to the sky train which gets you to the terminal in < 5 minutes. Much better experience than the shuttles from the other hotels for me.

Overall: My best airport hotel experience to date and an excellent experience for any hotel. Worth the extra cost compared to other options nearby. Hope they fix the coffee situation.

Have stayed here muslitple times and the service and rooms are always perfect. Close to GICC, and that's where we need to be. Champs is great food, and there's a Starbucks downstairs.

Stayed here the night before an early flight out of ATL. Great aiport hotel, 2 min walk next door to the SkyTrain to ATL airport in the morning. Check in was busy but efficient, rooms are very clean. Great for a stay if flying out of ATL.

I stayed overnight for a work trip and had a mistake on my bill that I needed corrected before submitting my expense report. Larry Gates, a young man at the front desk, went out of his way to help me get it corrected by tracking down the people in the accounting office and then his supervisor to fix the problem. He emailed the correction by that evening! What a great example of customer service!

Had an early morning international flight last week so stayed at Marriott Gateway the night prior so we could slide into the airport without such an early commute. The service was great, the rooms were super clean and well-prepared, and the location simply can’t be beat. The adjoining training into the airport made our morning SO much easier.

I enjoyed my stay. I love to sleep in the pitch black room. Any light I will wake up.. The room darken curtains were clutch and loved the decor and layout of my room, and the shower with the dual shower head was awesome. My only complaint is that the coffee shop store isn't open 24 hours. I wanted something sweet late at night and couldn't satisfy that crazy so I just took my sweet tooth self to sleep. Would definitely book again, but I will stop and get candy .. oh, it was a little fridge in there, too. I had a few drinks to keep in there.

Although just a short stay due to flight times, the hotel was very nice and the room was very comfortable.

Was very pleased with the accommodations at this hotel. The hotel was spotless and the room was very clean and updated. All the staff that I came into contact with were all very pleasant and helpful. I loved the fact that I could hop on to the skytrain and be at the airport in 5 minutes. I would highly recommend.

Last minute stay due to a delayed flight. Great service and room was nice and clean. Close to the airport, free train shuttle to the airport, gets you there in 2 minutes.

I have visited 6 hotels in 2 weeks, and this was by far the standout of the bunch. From the quality rooms with modern feel to the amazing service from everyone I've interacted with, everything has been A+. The food at the hotel restaurant could have been served at any proper restaurant, and didn't fall into the trap of tasting like just another hotel with cheap unappealing food. I hate to leave...
