Ochsner Health Center - Destrehan

Great facility! I was looking for a new primary care physician close to home. I choose Dr Jenna Jordan and she was a great fit. I have also used the lab and it's also great. Everything there is brand new and they will also have an MRI by next year. The main thing is the support staff. They are all very professional and friendly. Overall I've had a great and comfortable experience especially when you may not be feeling your best.

Check in was fantastic. Ladies were very courteous. The office is was clean and social distanced. My CNA was very sweet and patient. The doctor was surprisingly quick yet thorough. Very personable staff. Could not recommend them enough.

I had gotten lost and passed exit going over bridge. So had reasoned never do the visit to Destrahan Och sner again . The front Desk person changed my altitude. It was really nice. The lady at front desk got out seat and excorted us all the way to room many feet back. She was happy to be of service to us. She was a fine introduction to Dr. Pollock.

The clinic was spotless and bright as usual, and attended by professionals that were courteous and caring. There are occasionally medical students there in training and my interactions with them have been enjoyable as well. The nurse practitioner is quite capable and works closely with Dr Williams. I am very pleased with my experiences there. Given the option to go anywhere I'd choose to go there first, and it's in my neighborhood.

I can't say enough good things about this medical facility. I really enjoy the convenience of the location, as well as the professionalism of the staff. I always feel like a person, not a number. My provider takes time to answer my questions and discuss treatment options. Having a pharmacy on-site is also very convenient.

Every person I encountered at this clinic was nice, kind, and just outright pleasant. I went for a PCP visit, lab work and imaging and couldn’t ask for a better environment. Even the patients I encountered were nice and helpful.

I had to get my yearly check up with Dr. Abby Gandolfi at the Destrehan facility. She was wonderful. Very thorough, caring, understanding and listened to everything I said. Then I had to get blood work at the lab there. Each time before a nurse had to stick me five or 6 times to get blood, as each time my vein would blow. However the nurse, Maureen, at Ochsner noticed my small veins and used a pediatric needle to take blood from me and my vein never collapsed. It was truly a great experience.

Dr. Jordan is very nice and thorough. I believe she actually cares about her patients. The office staff are all very friendly and there was barely any wait at all. Great experience!

I have been going to nurse practitioner Ann Colwart for years! She and her staff are very professional and very kind! I feel like they all listen and then go on to explain everything in great detail. I always feel like I have had an office visit not an office appointment!

Very clean and health conscious environment. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They were happy to help and welcoming. I didn’t have to wait long. I went in right away. This was a great experience.

Pleased with Dr Pollack and the building got me live on site interpreter!!!! That helped me tremendously!!!

My doctor is Abby Gandolfi. She was the first primary care doctor I’ve had in years because I never had good enough health insurance until recently. I had started displaying weird symptoms and I picked Dr. Gandolfi to be the person to help me figure it out. She was the best doctor I could’ve chosen for the task. I love her so much that I’ve gotten my dad to start seeing her as a patient as well. Dr. Gandolfi and her staff are always friendly and reliable. They've worked with me numerous times to fit me in for available appointments. The quality of care is great and they're always concerned for my well being. Dr. Gandolfi tremendously cares about her patients and tends to answer messages late at night so she can make sure to always try and stay on top of things. I'm so grateful for her and her staff!

My husband and I both saw Dr Dan Monday May9,2021 for our 6 months check up. We were both pleased at the detail explanation he gave us with problems we were having. He is so awesome and can’t imagine seeing any other doctor.

I was seen by Shanedolyn Grover, APRN, FNP. She listened to everything I had to say and took her time. I did not feel like I was being rushed out like other doctors’ offices. I believe I found my primary care person. Also all the staff were genuinely nice and respectful. I had such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this practice to others. I could not praise them enough.

They were courteous and professional. We talked, they eased my fears, and then they performed the exam. I liked everyone that I encountered at this visit. I will be seeing them for all future visits.

The Ochsner Health Center in Destrehan has the medical facilities I need for my physical well-being, annual check-ups, pharmacy and lab. It has new offices and exam rooms. The physicians, nurses and staff are wonderful in the work they do and the care they provide. Since it is a smaller branch, the atmosphere is relaxed and appointments are scheduled so as to limit the number of people who may be waiting for care at any one time, which is great as we socially distance during the pandemic.

DR. Gandolfi and her staff were amazing as always, efficient and respectful with my time. A pleasure to speak with, never felt like they were in a rush, ensured my questions and concerns were addressed completely.

All of the staff were extremely efficient and helpful. I was seen on time and had no wait .The whole experience was terrific. Dr. Klibert was very attentive and spent a lot of time with me. I would certainly highly recommend this facility and Dr. Klibert

The care I receive at Ochsner Health Center in Destrehan is always excellent. I am usually seen on time, and if not, it is only a short wait. Everyone is friendly, caring, thorough, and professional. I have been a patient there for several years.

Dr. Jordan is very thorough and takes her time and listens to all your concerns. You never feel rushed at an appointment. Her staff does a great job also!!
