I can't rave enough about our wonderful experience at this charming Korean bakery! From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and an atmosphere that felt like home. We went in to pick up a cake for my mom’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make our celebration special.

The cake itself was a masterpiece – beautifully decorated and absolutely delicious. But what truly made our visit unforgettable were the thoughtful extras they provided. They generously included free candles, a cheerful "Happy Birthday" sign, a convenient plastic knife, and even a cold water bottle to keep us refreshed. These small yet incredibly kind gestures made us feel valued and appreciated.

Their customer service is second to none. The staff were not only professional but also incredibly personable, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect celebration. Their attention to detail and genuine kindness transformed a simple cake purchase into a delightful experience. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for exceptional products and outstanding service. They truly made my mom's birthday extra special, and we couldn’t be more grateful!

Where do I start? The place is gorgeous! Everything looks clean and orderly. Warm, friendly staff always receive you with a smile. Everything I've had so far is just DELICIOUS and FRESH! Hot chocolate is the best I've had! Can't really say I'll be back, because I'm already visiting on a frequent basis! Best coffee shop and bakery in the area!

I have absolutely adored the local White Windmill franchise in north ATL for a number of years. The main branch (in Doraville) has the most pastry options out of all the locations. Even though this specific cafe has less of a variety, it is ambient & cozy with warm wood tones, black leathers, and starry stringed ceiling lights. Congestion of crowds is minimal-to-none, here, unlike the main branch. It's a more private feel.
Things you should know:
I. PARKING
White windmill is within the Nukoa Plaza and shares a public parking lot with the surrounding businesses. Finding an available, free, space is no problem.
II. SERVICE
Friendly. An older gentleman & lovely lady, who seem to own the cafe, serve you and greet you warmly when you enter. They truly pour their hearts into their customer service.
III. QUALITY
Fresh daily. I've tried various pastries and coffees. They never disappoint. One day, I would enjoy seeing this franchise use different cups for their lattes and beverages than the uncharacteristic paper ones. I think it'll add a little more value and personal touch behind the customer experience.
IV. CAPACITY
Fair amount of seating on a week day. Crowds are minimal. A fair amount of customers come and go.
There are booth seating areas that are for 2 or more people that can make your experience even more private if needed.

Had such a lovely experience in this beautiful coffee shop. It's beautifully decorated, clean, and the service was so kind and friendly. The cakes and pastries look like art. They were incredibly tasty too!! I loved it!

Very cute place and will definitely come back. I had the soboro-ppang and the cornbread with an iced americano, they were all amazing. Service was great staffs were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Stopped in and got 3 of the breads one with a white cream, one with mocha cream and a red bean paste, I have never had something with redbean paste but it was great, they were all delicious, wish I had bought more. Very lovely place too. I will be driving 3 hour back to pick up more! They are better than a donut to me ,not to sweet just fresh and perfect 😁

This cafe has a very beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. The man at the register was incredibly kind and sweet. We had the castella and got a few drinks and coconut cookies with family -- all were delicious and were crafted with care. Will definitely visit again.

When we came, the owner told us bingsu was out. But he said he gonna see if they had one more bingsu at the back. This place saves our lives in summer time 🤧👍🏻 totally perfect

In the Asian community, it is known that the highest form of compliment is calling your dessert "not too sweet." The cakes here are not too sweet. The individually wrapped pastries are also not too sweet. I always gravitate towards the almond tuiles and the green bean buns. The custard fish bread is also a must-order item and you have to eat them fresh!

The real reason I keep coming back and supporting this specific shop over every other one is the friendly owners. The gentleman and ladies at the counter are always super sweet. Any time I send my friends or parents here to get cakes for special occasions, they always come back to me with stories of their encounter because service like theirs is hard to come by these days.

Desserts are not too sweet because at this White Windmill, the workers are the ones who sweeten your day. Please visit often to support them!

Very friendly, delicious coffee and bakery items. This place is very spacious and plenty of room for a small group.

This cafe has the best latte in town, hands down. And it's ALWAYS consistent, probably because the two kind people behind the counter are always here. ❤ The latte are so rich and comforting - nothing like the bitter, overdone caffeine bombs I've had at other places. It's nestled between great places to eat, too! 10 out of 10.

One thing I appreciate here is that they reserve the booths for 2+ people. I think it is so important they do this since many times one person will take the booth seat, leaving larger groups to combine tables or chairs. Plus, they have seating for those who are just here to chat and those who plan on doing homework/work/study. I love that they also provide extension outlets since the ones on the wall are hidden by the chairs.

Their bread selection is not as extensive as other cafes/bakeries, however, their drinks are well made and always taste great. My sister and I especially liked the Iced Vanilla Latte.

The customer service is always my favorite. The man with glasses is so sweet and attentive. Also, whoever chooses the playlist has an impeccable taste in music lol

Owners were so sweet and attentive! Super clean inside! Recommend the mango smoothie, they make it with fresh mangoes and it wasn’t too sweet like other places! Their fish bread was also on point!
